Clinical Education. 6.1 Philips will perform the clinical support of the installation or clinical education for upgrades, updates, or fixes that Customer is entitled to receive under this Agreement, at a mutually agreeable time. Scope, duration, and delivery methodology of the clinical support of the installation or clinical education will vary by upgrade, update, or fix and will be defined by Philips at Philips sole discretion.

Clinical Education. Clinical services will be scheduled between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, relative to the new software version. Customer may request additional clinical education or clinical education outside of standard hours, at an additional cost. 16.3.1 Clinical Education class size is limited to ten (10) participants; 16.3.2 Customer will provide a suitable location for on-site classroom education; and 16.3.3 Customer will provide full and free access and use of the Covered System for training.

Clinical Education. 1. The School and Care Center shall develop a clinical instruction plan (the “Plan”) that identifies specific clinical objectives of the Program. Such objectives will be conducted under supervision and in accordance with the mutually accepted philosophy and objectives of the parties. The Plan shall include, at a minimum: (a) the number of students participating in the clinical experience; (b) the required number of contact hours; (c) the clinical areas to be used by students at the Care Center; (d) the scope of duties at Care Center that fall within the educational component of the Program for which students will academically benefit from; (e) establish perimeters to ensure the clinical experience is for the benefit of the students; and (f) maximum number of excused absences each student shall have. 2. The educational component of the Program shall be under the supervision of School or a faculty member designated by School. Students shall in all circumstances, follow the directives of Care Center with respect to clinical instruction and/or resident care. 3. Students will receive beneficial educational experience in the areas as specified under the Plan and shall, at all times, be under the supervision of a School appointed faculty member and/or a Care Center clinical instructor during the clinical experience. 4. Students assigned for clinical experience shall have met the standards for safety, health and academic ability as set forth herein and by School and Care Center. 5. Students will not replace staff of Care Center. Students will not give care services to residents apart from that rendered for its educational value as part of the Program and in accordance with the Plan. 6. Students will adhere to the rules and regulations of School and any rules and regulations that may be promulgated by Care Center in connection with providing the clinical experience. 7. Students shall be treated as trainees who have no expectation of receiving compensation or future employment from the Care Center. 8. Students may not have access to the Care Center for anything other than in accordance with the Plan or the Program, unless permission has been obtained from Care Center and supervision is present. 9. Students must obtain prior written approval of School and Care Center before publishing any material relating to the Program or the clinical experience. 10. Clinical Education. A casual academic employee required to provide clinical education shall be paid for each hour of clinical education delivered and provide marking related to the clinical education conducted within that face-to-face contact and directly associated non-contact duties in the nature of preparation, administration and student consultation, at a rate calculated in accordance with the following tables:

Clinical Education. TCU and UNTHSC will secure sufficient affiliation rotation sites to support the Curriculum requirements of the Medical School. Such affiliations will not negatively affect rotation sites of other TCU or UNTHSC programs. Each Fiscal Year, the Xxxx will review, evaluate and determine a rolling five (5) year development plan for clinical education with a budget for the same. The foregoing will be subject to the approval of the Provosts. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to prohibit or otherwise restrict either Institution from continuing affiliations that were historically maintained by the Institutions and were in effect at any time prior to the Effective Date of this Agreement or pursuing new affiliations.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.
