Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. Goggles must be worn at all times when working with chemicals, heat, and glassware.
Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. The City agrees to provide and service any protective clothing and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) (e.g. coveralls, safety glasses) it deems necessary in order for the full-time employees covered under this Agreement to effectively and safely perform his or her work.
Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. 2.14.1. The Company will provide each employee with work and safety clothing and protective equipment in accordance with clause 2.14.2.
2.14.2. The work clothing and PPE shall be supplied prior to commencement of employment by the Company and will be consistent with the relevant Australian and New Zealand standards. The following items of safety clothing will be provided by the Company and must be worn at all appropriate times: ▪ 2 sets of shirts ▪ 1 wet weather jacket ▪ 1 hat/beanie ▪ 1 pair of safety boots (lace up or ankle high)
2.14.3. All clothing and footwear specified in clause 2.14.2 will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis on the condition that old clothing or footwear is presented for inspection if required.
2.14.4. Additional personal protective equipment e.g. hard hat, Hi-Vis vest (AUS/NZ 4602), gloves and safety glasses, will be supplied by the Company on an individual basis where/when required.
2.14.5. All clothing and PPE shall be deemed as Company property. All employees must use Company equipment in line with Company policy.
2.14.6. All company equipment, including uniform and PPE, must be returned by the employee to the Company prior to employment ending or on a date as agreed with the Company.
Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. It is a requirement that employees wear authorised Ventia issued clothing/uniform, and appropriate personal protective equipment including steel capped boots.

The Company agrees to provide each employee with the following clothing: 5 Shirts per year 5 Trousers per year 1 Jacket per year 5 Socks per year Safety Boots as required. The laundering of all clothing shall be met by the Company. The clothing supplied shall remain the property of the Company and shall be returned upon termination of employment. In the event the clothing is not returned the Company shall have the right to deduct from any monies due to the employee, the value of such clothing not returned. The re-issuing of all clothing and personal protective equipment will be done on a fair wear and tear basis, on presentation of damaged/unusable items. All employees are to ensure the use of correct clothing/equipment as required under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and specific site requirements.

To ensure the safety of staff, protective clothing and personal protective equipment will be issued according to exposure to hazards and risks which exist in the workplace. Where it is determined that a protective clothing issue will be made, replacement will be on the basis of condemnation.

7.4.2 Where a staff member is issued with protective clothing that clothing must be worn on duty except when a specific exemption has been allowed by the staff member’s supervisor. Any staff member who has been issued with protective clothing and/or equipment, who reports for duty incorrectly attired may be stood down without pay or be otherwise deployed until such time as they are able to report for duty correctly attired.
7.4.3 Some staff will be issued with uniforms. Any staff member who is issued with a uniform is expected to keep the uniform in good order and condition and to wear the full uniform at all times when on duty. Items of uniform will be replaced on condemnation.
7.4.4 Personal protective equipment will be issued as required. In areas or circumstances where a hazard(s) have been identified which require the use of personal protective equipment, the wearing of such equipment shall be compulsory.
Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE) The employer shall provide employees with the following work clothing (per annum): 3 Hi Viz Shirts, 1 Polar fleece jumper, 1 Polar fleece vest. Subject to obtaining company approval and on production of a valid tax invoice, employees will be reimbursed up to $120.00 towards the cost of safety footwear which complies with relevant Australian standards. Employees will be required to wear approved safety footwear, work clothing issued by the employer and applicable PPE issued by the employer as instructed. Employees not wearing approved footwear, issued clothing or personal protective equipment as directed shall be subject to disciplinary action. Where any items are provided free of cost by the employer they shall remain the property of the employer, and the employee shall take reasonable care of such items. Employees will be responsible for laundry costs of work clothing supplied. 26 Renewal of Manual Handling Equipment Licences The company will reimburse employees who hold a current licence and are required to operate licenced MHE as part of their role, for the cost for the licence fee. Employees who are required to hold a current MHE licence will be responsible for ensuring they maintain the currency of the licence and renew it when required. Employees will be required to provide evidence of the payment for the licence renewal and present this to their manager for authorisation for the amount to be reimbursed. 27 No further claims This Agreement deals comprehensively with the terms and conditions of employment of Employees bound by it from time to time and covers all of the matters that the parties intend be the subject of enterprise bargaining. The Employees will not make and/or pursue any claim or improvement in any term or condition of employment (whether or not such term or condition is covered by this Agreement) during the normal life of this Agreement. Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. 2.15.1. On Company receiving a written request from the Employee, the Company will provide each Employee with work clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment in accordance with clause 2.15.3.
2.15.2. The work clothing and PPE shall be supplied prior to commencement of employment at the written the request of a new employee, by the Company and will be consistent with the relevant Australian and New Zealand standards.
2.15.3. The following items of safety clothing will be provided by the Company in accordance with its policy and must be worn at all appropriate times when performing work:
(a) 2 shirts which are compliant to relevant network requirements
(b) 1 wet weather jacket
(c) 1 vest 1 hat/beanie
(d) 1 pair of safety boots (lace up and ankle high)
2.15.4. All clothing and footwear specified in clause 2.15.3 will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis, on the Company receiving a written request from the Employee and conditional on that old clothing or footwear being presented for inspection to the Company if required.
2.15.5. In circumstances where employees are informed of the company’s obligations arising under
Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. 2.12.1 The enterprise will ensure that its’ employees are provided with the protective clothing detailed in this clause.
2.12.2 It is the responsibility of employees to ensure the clothing is worn and appropriately maintained.
2.12.3 The following protective clothing will be provided to Trades & Non- Trades Employees:
(i) 1 Jacket;
(ii) 3 sets of combination overalls;
(iii) 1 Windcheater; and
(iv) 2 Shirts. The following protective clothing will be provided to Retail & Clerical Staff:
(i) 4 shirts;
(ii) 2 pairs of trousers; and
(iii) 1 jumper. In either case employees will be required to wear the “Newmans” logo on the clothing provided.
2.12.4 Where an employee has not sought replacement of his/her issue of protective clothing (as detailed above) on a fair wear and tear basis within 12 months from the date of issue, then the employee shall be entitled to a re-issue of the apparel at the completion of 12 months.
2.12.5 Where employees have received any of the above items from a previous employer by way of a site agreement, industry agreement or normal condition of employment; the above items may not be re-issued until replacement on a fair wear and tear basis is required.
2.12.6 No agreements for cash in lieu of protective clothing shall be permitted.
2.12.7 The enterprise shall provide the following protective clothing and personal protective equipment for use when necessary by employees in the performance of their duties:
(i) Safety Helmets
(ii) Ear/hearing protection (iii) Gloves
