Community Engagement and Outreach. The Consultant will lead in the formulation and execution of a detailed, forward-thinking community engagement process that fosters a meaningful involvement of those intended to be served by the CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA programs, as well as community-based organizations, industry, housing and service providers, and the community at large. The community engagement process should include new and innovative approach to provide direct outreach and increase the awareness of the City’s Consolidated Plan and associated programs and services. The Community Engagement Plan will include, but not limited to, the following: • Goals, objectives and desired outcomes for community engagement, project branding and publicityKey messages • Strategy for conducting the Consolidated Plan development process that involves a broad spectrum of the City’s communities and stakeholders as possible • Assessment of potential project issues and stakeholders • Timeline showing the relationship between the community engagement and planning tasks/activities • Roles and responsibilities of the Consultant and City staff • Coordination/cooperation with key stakeholdersCommunication plan for keeping the public up to date on planning progress and learnings • Ensure Process collects input from the public of diverse backgrounds, for whom English is a second language Consultant must coordinate and lead at a minimum nine (9) community outreach presentations and meetings to inform members of the public that the City is updating its Consolidated Plan for federal funds that primarily serve low-to moderate-income residents and areas. The Consultant will also facilitate community conversations surrounding community needs to solicit input from members of the public in the City of San Diego. Public presentations and meetings may include, but are not limited to, community engagement workshops, stakeholder meetings and presentations to the Consolidated Plan Advisory Board.

Community Engagement and Outreach. It is in the interest of the City of Ukiah to have a robust, inclusive, and informative community engagement program. It is also in the interest of the City to have Staff and community volunteers be involved in community engagement activities. The role of the consulting team will be to organize and arrange content for the community workshops and assist Staff in organizing and facilitating meetings. The consultant will also serve as a resource to Staff, as well as monitor the direction and outcome of the public review process and incorporate the input into the updated General Plan.

EEA will establish Environmental Justice stakeholder outreach processes in order to meet with all interested stakeholders, engage with community members to build relationships, create an avenue for information sharing, provide nondiscrimination program information and opportunities for community feedback and public comment. Meetings will be held virtually or in-person, as appropriate, and be accessible in all appropriate languages consistent with EEA’s LAP. These processes will include appropriate personnel from EEA’s departments. EEA will establish these procedures in its Public Participation Plan. 2.   • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include: (1) convening and participating in the Community Task Force and other advisory groups; (2) ensuring that regular meetings of the Community Task Force are held to apprise participants of the status of the development process and to solicit comments, opinions, advice, and recommendations on the planning and implementation of the Grantee's revitalization efforts; and (3) if requested by HUD, entering into a memorandum of understanding with the members of the Community Task Force setting forth the manner and frequency of task force meetings, the method (if any) for designating resident and community participants, and the issues that the task force will discuss and develop.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property.   • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 9:01 No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer without the proper authorization of the Union. The Employer shall not meet with any employee or group of employees undertaking to represent the Union without the proper authorization of the Union. In representing an employee or group of employees, a representative of the Union shall be the spokesperson. In order that this may be carried out, the Union shall supply the Employer with the names of its Officers and representatives. Likewise the Employer shall supply the Union with a list of its Designated Authorities and Chairs where the Chair is not the Designated Authority. Neither the Union nor the Employer shall be required to recognize such representatives until written notification has been received. 9:02 The Union and the Employer acknowledge the mutual benefit of joint consultation and agree, therefore, that there shall be a joint labour/management committee consisting of three (3) representatives from and selected by each party. There shall be one (1) regularly scheduled Labour/Management Committee meeting in each four (4) month term or semester (January to April, May to August, September to December). In addition, meetings shall be arranged at the request of either party through the Labour Relations Department, by submitting in writing the topics to be discussed. Such meetings shall take place, at a mutually-agreeable time, within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the request for the meeting. Meetings shall not be used to discuss matters which are the subject of a grievance nor to discuss any matters which are, at the time, the subject of collective bargaining. The committee shall function in an advisory capacity only, making recommendations to the Union and/or the Employer with respect to its discussions and conclusions, and shall not have the power to add to or modify the terms of this agreement. A representative of each party shall be designated Co-Chairperson, and the two persons so designated shall alternate in presiding over meetings.

  • MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 Where the Employer is, any time during the Employee’s employment, not satisfied with the Employee’s performance with respect to any matter dealt with in this Agreement, the Employer will give notice to the Employee to attend a meeting; 12.2 The Employee will have the opportunity at the meeting to satisfy the Employer of the measures being taken to ensure that his performance becomes satisfactory and any programme, including any dates, for implementing these measures; 12.3 Where there is a dispute or difference as to the performance of the Employee under this Agreement, the Parties will confer with a view to resolving the dispute or difference; and 12.4 In the case of unacceptable performance, the Employer shall – 12.4.1 Provide systematic remedial or developmental support to assist the Employee to improve his performance; and 12.4.2 After appropriate performance counselling and having provided the necessary guidance and/or support as well as reasonable time for improvement in performance, the Employer may consider steps to terminate the contract of employment of the Employee on grounds of unfitness or incapacity to carry out his or her duties.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.
