Full-time Bus Drivers. The Employer shall provide MESSA Choices II with the $500/$1000 deductible, $20 office co-pay, MessaSaver RX for full time employees and eligible dependents including, ADN-self funded Dental I, II, III, IV 80/80/80/80: $1,000 annual max, $1300 lifetime max and Vision NVA-fully insured (mirrors VSP 2 coverage). For eligible and participating full-time employees, the Board’s contribution toward the cost of group health insurance coverage, including premiums and any other Board payments or contributions, relating to such coverage, shall be limited to the so-called maximum “hard cap” levels prescribed in the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act (Act 152 of 2011; MCL 15.561-569), as the same may be amended from time to time. Except for the Board’s insurance premium contributions, all remaining health insurance premium costs shall be paid by participating employees by payroll deduction. Full time for insurance purposes is defined as an employee regularly working thirty two (32) or more hours per week. If an employee elects not to receive the health coverage, he/she shall receive cash-in-lieu of such coverage in the amount of $350 per month; and employees choosing the cash-in-lieu of health insurance benefit under the District’s section 125 Plan may thereafter elect to have the cash contributed to a tax-deferred annuity.
Full-time Bus Drivers. The Board shall provide full-time bus driver employees a monthly subsidy of $235.00 toward the purchase of insurance offered to CMM employees. The cost of any coverage elected by any Bus Driver employee that is in excess of the Board subsidy shall be payroll deducted. A full time employee, in lieu of health insurance coverage subsidy, shall be provided cash in the amount of $140.00 per month. However, this option will only be available to employees who provide proof of health insurance coverage under another insurance policy.

Beginning July 1, 2012, eligible participants will pay 10% (pre-tax) of premium by payroll deduction through a section 125 plan. The Employer will reimburse employees up to $150 per employee for out-of-pocket dental expenses incurred after the dental plan becomes active and before August 31, 2012. Employees must submit documentation of their out-of-pocket dental expenses to the business office by February 1, 2012 to be reimbursed in February 2012 and/or by August 1, 2012 to be reimbursed in August 2012. Full time for insurance purposes is defined as an employee regularly working thirty two (32) or more hours per week. If an employee so elects not to receive the health coverage, he/she shall receive $350 per month as additional wages or select a tax sheltered annuity through a Section 125 Plan.
Full-time Bus Drivers. Full-time bus drivers will work a forty (40) hour week. Work hours and work days may be staggered over a seven (7) day week, at the decision of the Transportation Supervisor. If a full-time bus driver’s forty (40) hour work week consists of a Saturday or Sunday, no overtime or double time will be paid for these days. Full-time bus drivers will work two hundred-five (205) days per year consisting of one hundred eighty-five (185) days that school is in session and twenty (20) days as designated by the Transportation Supervisor following school closing and prior to school opening. Full-time bus drivers assigned to transport students who attend private and parochial schools, will work all days private and parochial schools are in session. Under no circumstance will a full-time driver assigned to a private or parochial run work less than the number of days in the Mohonasen school calendar, for that given year. If a driver assigned to a private or parochial run works less than the number of school days in the Mohonasen school calendar, that driver will be assigned makeup days by the Transportation Supervisor, and will perform job related duties as determined by the Transportation Supervisor. These makeup days will be assigned at a time when the Mohonasen schools are not in session.

Full time for insurance purposes is defined as an employee regularly working thirty-two (32) or more hours per week. If an employee so elects not to receive the health coverage, he/she shall receive a cash amount equal to the cost of the single subscriber premium pursuant to a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan.
