HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. 2 6.1 The normal professional workday for unit members shall require on-site responsibilities beginning 3 fifteen (15) minutes before the first class period for the site and extend to fifteen (15) minutes after 4 students are dismissed from the last normally scheduled class for the site. HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. 6.1.1. Workday Employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid for all hours worked in accordance with all other provisions of the Agreement. The arrival and departure time of each employee shall be determined at the sole and exclusive direction of the District. The length of the workday shall be designated by the District for each full-time assignment; provided, however, that a reduction in assigned time shall be treated as a subject of negotiations in accordance with applicable state law. The District shall notify the Union at the earliest possible time of any anticipated need to reduce schedules. The Union and the District agree to meet and confer in an effort to xxxxxx full understanding of the situation and to jointly explore alternatives. The specific scheduling of days and hours for part-time employees, within the limits of their assigned time, shall be subject to adjustment at the discretion of the work site administrator. After the work year has begun, whenever possible, an employee will be given at least five (5) days advanced notice of any involuntary permanent change in days or hours of work.
HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. 1. A unit member is a professional person whose responsibility of employment is based on educational service rendered rather than a specified number of working hours. Not all professional duties can or need be performed at the school site. Therefore, the total length of the unit member day, including preparation time and duty-free lunch, shall not exceed seven (7) hours and thirty (30) minutes per day. The specific times to report to and leave from school will be mutually established at each school and will be indicated in the Faculty Handbook.
A. The work day of the school social worker shall be seven hours (7) and thirty (30) minutes per day (inclusive of a thirty [30] minute duty-free lunch) on a daily schedule that is based on the needs of the position and which may vary from day to day as determined by the unit member and the administrator.
2. On days when unit members are scheduled to work but the students are not scheduled to be present, or on days of an emergency release of students or on minimum student days, the work day shall be seven and one-half (7-1/2) for all unit members, (inclusive of a thirty [30] minute duty-free lunch period) unless otherwise reduced by the District Management.
3. All unit members shall be entitled to a thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch period. Unit members may leave the school grounds during their lunch period.
4. Within the above required time period, unit members are responsible for other duties during the day. These duties will be assigned by the Administration as fairly and equally as is possible in meeting the needs of the school.
5. Each unit member will be responsible for participation in one back-to-school night and may be responsible for the supervision of one dance per year. (Refer to Paragraph Eleven (11) for unit members with less than a full-time assignment.)
A. School site principal may assign six (6) unit members including advisors per dance for only six
HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. The Individual Employer shall establish the hours of work per day and the hours of work per week, either five (5) eight (8) hour days or four (4) ten (10) hour days in any one (1) week. Once established, the type of work week shall not be changed until the Individual Employer has notified the Union in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of the establishment of the alternate workweek. This Agreement does not guarantee any specific number of hours per day or week.
HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. Contracts are to be written based on the adopted school calendar of 177 student contact days. (Rev. 5-2009) As agreed upon at the time that the school day was extended to change from a day schedule (180 days) to an hour schedule (1116 hours), the length of the day shall revert back to the state regulations if the day schedule is re-instated. If the number of days/hours for future calendars exceeds the number of days/hours on the calendar in the current year, compensation will be discussed at negotiations. (Rev. 04-05)
HOURS AND DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. Contracts are to be written based on the adopted school calendar of 181 days. As agreed upon at the time that the school day was extended to change from a day schedule (181 days) to an hour schedule (1215 hours), the length of the day shall revert back to the state regulations if the day schedule is reinstated. If the number of days/hours for future calendars exceeds the number of days/hours on the calendar in the current year, compensation will be discussed at negotiations. A. Hours
1. Teachers will be expected to be on duty at least ten (10) minutes before the first class period and remain on duty at least thirty (30) minutes after the end of the last period or activity or until 3:45 p.m., whichever comes first. (Rev. 7-1999 7-2017) For the 2020-2021 school year, all teachers will report by 7:50am, student start time is 8:00am. The High School ending time is 3:05, Middle School 3:10, and Elementary 3:25. Teachers at the high school will be released at 3:35, middle school teacher are released at 3:40, and elementary teacher are released at 3:45. (Rev. 7-2017) High School Redesign Teachers duty day shall start at 7:00, 8:00, or 9:00 still arriving ten minutes prior to start time. Redesign Teacher’s duty day shall remain 7.5 hours per day and the start/end time shall be consistent throughout the year. Teachers shall work with the administration to develop a workable schedule to ensure the success of all students. (Revised 9-2018)
2. On Fridays or on days preceding holidays or vacations, the employee's day shall end at such a time that a substantial portion of the student body has cleared the building. Teacher attendance shall not be required whenever student attendance is not required due to inclement weather. In other cases, where the closing is specific to one building, staff may be required to report in their own building, if safe and healthy, or at another location not affected by the closing. B. Days
1. Teachers without extended contracts will work N duty days. (N = number of adopted calendar days). (Rev. 7-1994, Rev 2-2014)
2. The following minimum extended contracts will apply to bargaining unit members employed by the district. (Rev. 7-1994, Rev 2-2014)

5.2 Unit members shall report to school not later than thirty (30) minutes prior to their first regular class or conference period.
5.3 Unit members are expected to remain a sufficient amount of time after their last class and/or at other times to attend to student needs, attend scheduled parent or administrative conferences or meetings, and carry out assigned or voluntary adjunct duties.
