Sick Leave Bonus Days. Employees who work three (3) consecutive calendar months (Jan. - Mar., April-June, July-Sept., Oct. - Dec.) in the calendar year without missing more than three (3) scheduled work time hours for reasons other than paid vacations, comp time or holidays, approved bereavement leave, military leave, personal leave, sick leave bonus days or jury duty will be eligible for eight (8) hours of time off with pay, not to exceed thirty-two (32) hours bonus time earned in any calendar year. Employees who are granted a bonus day each of the four (4) calendar quarters shall be granted one extra bonus day for the following year. At the end of the calendar year, employees may elect to carry over a maximum five (5) bonus days into the following calendar year. All bonus days banked as of 3/1/05 may remain banked. All sick leave bonus days shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time that does not cause overtime.

Sick Leave Bonus Days. 20.01 Each employee shall be granted one (1) bonus day off with pay for not using sick leave time in any quarterly period. Quarterly periods under this Article shall be January through March, April through June, July through September and October through December. A bonus sick leave day shall equate to 12 hours per quarter for shift personnel and 8 hours per quarter for 40 hour personnel to be paid in compensatory time or cash, at the employee’s option. An employee may accumulate up to 48 hours of bonus sick leave time. Any accruals over 48 hours shall be paid in the next pay period. 20.02 When an employee uses sick leave for an injury which is incurred in the line of duty, such use shall not count as sick leave use for purposes of sick leave bonus. 20.03 Forty (40) hour personnel shall receive eight (8) hours pay or 8 hours time off in the next calendar quarter for sick leave bonus.

  • Sick Leave Bonus ‌ For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.

  • Sick Leave Incentive The City will institute a sick leave incentive based on the usage of the bargaining unit; further, the City will pay each person who qualifies during January of each year. The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Personnel Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The incentive shall be awarded only when the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is less than the City average and the following conditions are met: When the bargaining unit's sick leave usage is greater than forty (40) hours but less than the City average, the City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. When the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is equal to or less than forty (40) hours, the City will pay each member who used between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours, sixteen (16) hours of pay at their current hourly rate. Those members who used more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, will receive eight (8) hours of pay.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Vacation Bonus Employees shall receive one day's base pay (or adjusted earnings) for each year of service beyond twenty-five (25) years, to a maximum of ten (10) days’ pay.

  • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.

  • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.
