Dual Enrollment Program. The Dual Enrollment Program is an Accelerated Pathway that is offered to eligible secondary students on a part-time basis (College credits are limited to 12 or less, and the student is required to enroll in at least one high school credit course). Students may enroll in college courses offered concurrently on the high school campus, courses on the college campus, and in online courses, to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously.
Dual Enrollment Program. The Dual Enrollment Program provides postsecondary learning opportunities for qualified eligible students through the effective use of the University’s courses, services, and resources.
a. Students are eligible to participate in Dual Enrollment if they have met the requirements of Section 1007.271, Florida Statutes, including any alternative methods, as identified in Florida Department of Education rules, for demonstrating achievement in college-level communication and computation skills, and are approved by their School representative(s) to have:
(1) Attained a grade level of at least sixth through twelfth;
(2) Earned a minimum of no less than three high school core academic credits;
(3) Achieved and maintained a minimum high school unweighted core academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 each semester;
(4) Have a minimum test score of: • 24 on the SAT-Reading, 24 on the SAT-Mathematics, and 25 on the Writing/Language OR • 17 on the ACT-E, 19 on the ACT-R, and 19 on the ACT-M OR • 106 on the PERT Reading, 114 on the PERT Math, and 103 on the PERT English
(5) Enrolled in the School for one full semester prior to participating in Dual Enrollment. A transfer student that has successfully completed a Dual Enrollment course (as indicated on the student’s transcript from the sending school) and otherwise meets the requirements of the Dual Enrollment Program may be allowed to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program upon initial enrollment with the School;
(6) Consulted with their guidance counselor about taking Dual Enrollment course(s) at UWF.
b. Students eligible for Dual Enrollment courses shall:
(1) Obtain and complete the following forms, which are available on the UWF web page:
(a) UWF Dual Enrollment Application; and
(b) UWF Dual Enrollment Approval Form (required for each semester of dual enrollment).
(2) Return the completed forms, with required signatures, to the guidance counselor as soon as they are completed, but no later than the first day of classes;

Dual Enrollment Program. The Gretna Public Schools (GPS) has entered into an interlocal agreement with Metropolitan Community College (MCC) for a Dual Enrollment Program to provide students of the GPS college credit for MCC classes taught in a high school setting by certificated teachers employed by GPS if such classes meet MCC standards and policies and objectives. The dollar amount reimbursement to GPS for the services of the GPS teacher accepting an assignment to teach MCC classes is determined in the sole discretion of MCC. The Gretna Public Schools and Gretna Education Association agree upon receipt of payment to GPS by MCC of reimbursement for instructional services for the MCC college credit classes, that certificated teachers accepting assignments to teach MCC classes shall be compensated pursuant to the contract between GPS and MCC (subject to federal and state withholding, i.e., FICA, retirement, etc.). Starting with the 2016-2017 school year, if MCC does not reimburse GPS for the services of the teachers providing dual credit program for the MCC college credit classes, high school teachers who are teaching dual credit classes will be compensated by Gretna Pubic Schools $300 per class section taught, per semester.
Dual Enrollment Program. 1. Student – Student success in the Dual Enrollment Program is dependent upon the student’s academic readiness and social maturity.
2. Faculty – Dual Enrollment Program instructors shall be employed faculty of the University. As required by University policy, the faculty and course shall be evaluated by the approved student evaluation instrument and by the University academic department head.
Dual Enrollment Program. Bargaining Unit Members who desire to serve as instructors for Dual Enrollment programs shall be eligible for tuition reimbursement from the District in an amount greater than that outlined in Section 1 of this Article. Bargaining Unit Members who meet the outlined criteria will be eligible to receive up to $800 per credit with a maximum reimbursement amount not to exceed $15,000 for participation in a Dual Enrollment graduate program for any single Bargaining Unit Member.
A. The following criteria shall apply to determine eligibility for reimbursement under the Dual Enrollment clause:
1. The Bargaining Unit Member must be otherwise qualified, certified and eligible to teach the content of the Dual Enrollment program.
2. The Bargaining Unit Member must be in a curricular department for which the District offers Dual Enrollment courses.
3. The Bargaining Unit Member must obtain pre-approval from their immediate supervisor and provide course descriptions, transcripts and other required documentation from their credit granting institution to meet the criteria of the Dual Enrollment program.
4. The Bargaining Unit Member must earn a grade of B or better in each course to be eligible for reimbursement by the District.
5. The Bargaining Unit Member must submit the District required tuition reimbursement documentation and meet the timelines as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement ARTICLE 22.

Early admission dual enrollment pursuant to Section 1007.271, F.S. is not a part of this Agreement or available between the parties.
Dual Enrollment Program. Pacific Islands University provides opportunities for high school students to enroll in college- level courses, for which they will receive college credit from PIU. The students enrolled in the Dual Enrollment Program may also receive credit towards graduation from high school if the school agrees to grant the credit. Admission to the Program Students wishing to participate in the program are required to submit: ❑ Application Form or online application (xxx.xxx/xxxxx). ❑ Current and official high school transcript ❑ Results of college admissions tests (SAT, ACT, TOEFL) or results of the PIU English Language Assessment. Scores are valid for up to two years before the start date of the semester of admission. Students must demonstrate the capacity to succeed in college courses in order to enroll in any program. Students may demonstrate that capacity in one of the following ways: • A score of 500 on the PIU English Language Assessment. • Score at least a 425 on the College Board SAT Reading Test and the SAT Writing and Language Test and score at least a 2 on the SAT Essay Test. • Score at least an 18 on the English Language Arts portion of the ACT. • Score at least a 500 on the paper-based TOEFL or 61 on the Internet-based TOEFL. • A composite score of 482 or above on the Accuplacer Next Generation reading and writing tests and an essay score of greater than or equal to 5 on the essay portion. • Provide transcripts showing transfer credits of college level courses equivalent to a PIU Freshman English course (ENGL 101 or 102). ❑ Copy of a valid ID (ex. Passport, Birth Certificate or Driver’s License) ❑ Copy of the immunization card (must include a valid documentation of tuberculin skin test results conducted within 6 months prior to the beginning of classes for those attending in-person classes.) ❑ Confirmation of the attainment of junior or senior level (or equivalent) in high school (verification from a counselor or school administrator) ❑ Official endorsement from the student’s high school indicating that the student is capable of enrolling in and completing a college level course. ❑ List of courses in which the student plans to enroll ❑ Signed letter from the student’s parents or legal guardians that: • grants permission to enroll in the courses • guarantees responsibility for regular attendance and payment of tuition and fees • acknowledges the student’s responsibility to adhere to all PIU academic and student life expectations on campus as presented in th...
Dual Enrollment Program. The dual enrollment program shall be the enrollment of an eligible secondary student in a postsecondary course creditable toward a high school diploma and a vocational certificate or an associate degree or a baccalaureate degree. Eligibility for dual enrollment shall be reviewed each semester. To be eligible to enroll in postsecondary academic and technical courses under this Agreement, a student must:
1. Be a Brevard County public school student in grades 10 through 12;
2. Meet testing requirements in effect at the College for the selected program;
3. Have a high school record of good attendance, appropriate conduct and responsible behavior;
4. Have a state cumulative unweighted high school GPA of:
Dual Enrollment Program. A. B. Dual enrollment college level courses are intended to simultaneously fulfill high school curriculum requirements, meet university general education/liberal arts requirements, and satisfy prerequisites for the major or count as elective credit.
C. Courses. Dual enrollment courses will be available on the USFSM campus, the USFSM online educational platform and on selected individual high school campuses in Manatee County. Courses are subject to resource availability including staffing, credentialing and other constraints. Dual enrollment courses taught on a high school campus may not be combined with any non-college credit high school course and only USFSM dual enrollment students may be scheduled into dual enrollment courses taught on the high school campus. Dual enrollment courses will be taught either by USFSM faculty or by SDMC instructors credentialed by USFSM.
a. Listed within the statewide course description and numbering system on the current State of Florida Dual Enrollment Course – High School Subject Equivalency list and fall under the subject areas of English, mathematics, science, foreign language, social studies and electives. Eligible courses for the 2019-2020 academic year are outlined in Appendix A;
b. Fulfill the requirements of an associate or baccalaureate degree;
c. Apply toward the student’s high school diploma and replace high school courses in the same discipline that otherwise would have been taken; and
d. Approved by SDMC and USFSM as an acceptable dual enrollment course. Courses are not eligible for inclusion in the dual enrollment program if the course contains college preparatory instruction and other forms of pre-collegiate instruction or developmental education, as well as physical education courses that focus on the physical execution of a skill rather than the intellectual attributes of the activity and courses not specified in the State of Florida Dual Enrollment Course – High School Equivalency List. Courses outlined in Appendix B require either prerequisite work and/or higher standardized test scores.
Dual Enrollment Program. A. The Program allows Wicomico County high school students to earn college credit while still in high school, and:
i. Expands the curriculum options available to students in Wicomico County; and
ii. Provides University-level courses for students who meet eligibility requirements; and
iii. Provides a pathway for students to enter postsecondary programs leading to the award of a degree at Salisbury University; and
iv. Provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit for transfer to other colleges or universities.
B. For the purposes of this MOU, dual credit is defined as a University course taught by a University faculty member and offered to high school students with proof of residency in Wicomico County.
C. Wicomico County high school students will enroll in regularly scheduled University courses taught on the University campus or in a WCBOE classroom.
