Training Provisions. Clerical and in-service training shall be conducted both during and after working hours and shall not be limited to job-related workshops offered by the District.
10.1.1 All in-service workshops shall be publicized at all sites employing classified staff.
10.1.2 Both the Union and the District agree to explore means to adequately compensate instructors, including possible payment or time off for preparation, if necessary.
10.1.3 Upon satisfactory completion of the in-services, employees shall be issued a Certificate of Completion.
10.1.4 Priority consideration will be given to training in the District computer program.
Training Provisions. (a) Employees shall be allowed time off without loss of pay for the purposes of attending examinations conducted by SSA and/or the Civil Aviation Authority.
(b) An Employee shall not be required to attend for duty on any night shift which immediately precedes an examination. However, the Employee undergoing examinations may be required to accept a shift change to enable this provision to be effective.
(c) Employees shall make themselves available for all training courses on aircraft operated, maintained or serviced by their Employer.
(d) An Employee who is required to attend a training course (including the gaining of experience) in Australia shall be paid full salary including all shift allowances and weekend, penalty rates that the Employee would have received had he/she worked his/her normal roster.
(e) Employees attending a training course and/or experience training away from their home base shall be provided with transport by SSA for the following:
(i) Travel between the Employee's home and the departure airport, and travel between the arrival airport and the Employee's accommodation on commencement, and vice-versa on the return journey.
(ii) Travel to and from the Employee's place of accommodation and the place of training.
(iii) All outward and home bound travel to be at the same priority level.
(f) Where an Employee has been absent overseas for the purpose of training for a period of four weeks or more, he/she shall be entitled to two day's paid resettlement leave.
(g) An Employee who is not based at the port at which the training is being conducted shall, where practicable, be provided with free travel in accordance with Employer procedures to and from his/her home base on weekends where the duration of the course exceeds five days. Such travel shall not attract travelling time payments otherwise applicable under this Agreement.
Training Provisions. The City will make a reasonable effort to give equal opportunity for training to all regular full- time employees in a job classification in the same division. Priority shall be given to seniority by division, by job classification and then to equally distributing training opportunities. Any training offered or provided by the City shall be made available first on a seniority by division and job classification basis. For example, training pertaining to Maintenance Workers I in the Parks Maintenance Division shall be made available first to the employee who has held the position of Maintenance Worker I in the Parks Maintenance Division for the longest period of time. If such training is optional on the part of the employee and if an employee declines the offered training, it shall then be offered to the next most senior Maintenance Worker I in the Parks Maintenance Division and so on down the line until the available slots for a particular in-service training session have been filled. The next opportunity for training pertaining to Maintenance Worker I in the Parks Maintenance Division shall be offered first to the most senior Maintenance Worker I in the Parks Maintenance Division who has not yet had such training. One exception to the above is when such training is specific to an individual’s work task or specific training needs. In such case, an individual might be referred for training without regard to seniority.
Training Provisions. 24.1. The company must provide all necessary training to ensure employees are capable of adequately performing all required duties. This also includes any necessary occupational health and safety training.
24.2. Where an employee is required by the company to attend an examination conducted by the company, or another training provider the following provisions shall apply:
24.2.1. Employees must be allowed time off without loss of pay for the purposes of attending examinations.
24.2.2. Employees must make themselves available for all training required by the company whether such training results in additional payments or not.
24.2.3. An employee, who is required to attend a training course, including the gaining of experience, must be paid full salary including all shift allowances and weekend penalty rates that the employee would have received had he or she worked his or her normal roster.
24.2.4. An employee must not be required to attend for duty on any night shift, which immediately precedes an examination. However, the employee undergoing examinations may be required to accept a shift change to enable this provision to be effective.
24.3. The company must provide employees attending a company approved training course and/or experience training away from their normal place of work with transport for the following:
24.3.1. When the training is conducted away from the employees home state:
24.3.1.1. Travel between the employee's home and the airport (on commencement and completion of training/and or examination), and
24.3.1.2. Travel between accommodation provided by the company, and the place of training.
24.3.2. When the training is conducted in the employee's home state;
24.3.2.1. Travel between the employee's usual place of work to the place of training or
24.3.2.2. A mileage allowance for the use of their own vehicle where their home location to the place of training is greater than that which the employee would normally have travelled from their home location to their normal place of employment. The maximum claimable shall be the distance from their normal place of employment to the training facility. The allowance shall be paid at the current ATO rate.
24.4. Where an employee has been absent overseas for the purpose of training for a period of four weeks or more, he/she shall be entitled to two days' paid resettlement leave.

Training Provisions. 23. Representatives of the American Diabetes Association, upon request, may observe training or view Police Department practices and procedures in any other area covered by this Agreement. The City of Philadelphia reserves the right to limit access if compliance with the request would undermine security.
24. The American Diabetes Association, in consultation with the Philadelphia Police Department, agrees to design a poster to be paid for by the City of Philadelphia describing diabetes, its symptoms and appropriate treatment, which shall be placed and maintained in each area where prisoners are detained.
25. The American Diabetes Association, in consultation with the Philadelphia Police Department and the Philadelphia Health Department, agrees to co-produce a video to be paid for by the City of Philadelphia on diabetes and the needs of people with diabetes in custody. The Philadelphia Police Department agrees to incorporate the video into Police Recruit training. The Philadelphia Police Department agrees to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the video is viewed by all police officers on a biannual basis, through roll-call training or other training identified by the City. Detention Unit personnel and officers designated as “turnkeys” shall view the video on an annual basis.
26. The Philadelphia Police Department agrees to recommend to the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Training and Education Commission the inclusion of the video and its contents in the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Training and Education Commission Basic Curriculum and Annual In-Service Training.
Training Provisions. 26.1 Employees will be allowed time off without loss of pay for the purposes of attending examinations conducted by the employer and the examinations are required to facilitate the implementation of the classification structure in this award and/or CASA requirements, where the latter is approved by the employer in advance.
26.2 An employee will not be required to attend for duty on any night shift which immediately precedes an examination. However, the L.A.M.E. undergoing examinations may be required to accept a shift change to enable this provision to be effective.
26.3 An employee who is required to attend a training course (including the gaining of experience) in Australia or overseas will be paid full salary (including all shift allowances) and weekend penalty rates that the employee should have received had the employee worked the their normal roster.
26.4 Employees required to attend a training course and/or experience training away from their home base will be provided with transport by the employer for the following:
26.4.1 Travel between the employee's home and departure airport, and from the arrival airport to the employee's accommodation and return.
26.4.2 Travel to and from the employee's place of accommodation and the place of training.
26.5 Where an employee has been absent overseas for the purposes of training for a period of four weeks or more, the employee will be entitled to two days' paid resettlement leave.
26.6 Employees will make themselves available for all training courses on aircraft operated, maintained or serviced by their employer.
Training Provisions. A. Educational Technicians shall be reimbursed for up to one (1) three (3) credit undergraduate course per contract year, at the University of Maine rate, for college courses germane to the educational technician’s job responsibilities. The School Committee will offer training that is germane to support staff positions during workshop days.
B. Employees taking courses, of their own volition, approved by the Superintendent will have those courses reimbursed on a third-party billing basis. Failing to pass such course(s) will result in the employee reimbursing the school department for all related expenses such as tuition, fees, texts, etc.
Training Provisions. A. The Contractor shall complete required CalFresh policy webinars.
B. The Contractor providing application assistance shall attend and participate in Expanding CalFresh application assistance training.
Training Provisions. An employee engaged as a casual may request conversion to permanent employment under the terms set out in Appendix 4.
Training Provisions. By February 28, 2014, and annually thereafter, the District will provide in-service training for administrators, faculty and staff at Xxxxxxx High School on the Section 504 prohibitions against retaliation. The training will include examples of adverse actions that relate to the discipline process but do not allude to the Student or the April 23, 2013 incident for which the Student was disciplined.
