Voluntary Reassignments. 14.4.1.1 Unit members shall have the opportunity to apply for reassignment for the next semester or school year. Requests for reassignment shall be honored when the proposed change offers advantages to the students, the school, and the unit members concerned. On-site unit members shall be given first consideration for filling teaching vacancies in accordance with criteria established in 14.3.2.2.
Voluntary Reassignments. 132. Should management desire to change an operator from a scheduled run to another run for the convenience of management, the Division Manager and the Union Division Officer or their designees shall jointly approach the operator and ask the operator if he or she would voluntarily make the change. The operator is free to refuse to make the change subject to Section 14.4. If the operator consents to the change. The operator will be paid the higher of the run pay of his or her scheduled run or the run to which the operator was changed, and, in addition, shall be paid a change premium of $2.00 50 cents per hour.
Voluntary Reassignments. 1. Unit members may initiate their own reassignment by submitting a written request to the District Superintendent. Forms will be emailed by the District to all unit members by March 1st. In order to ensure consideration for placement in a new position for the coming school year, a unit member’s written request for reassignment must be submitted by March 15th.
Voluntary Reassignments. 13.4.1 A teacher interested in reassignment shall submit a written request to their Principal at any time prior to February 1st. All received requests will be considered for subsequent openings.
Voluntary Reassignments. 5.3.1 By February 15th, Site Administration will send out a survey soliciting requests for reassignments to fill current anticipated vacancies or new positions and to create a list of site members who are interested in a reassignment. The survey will include any anticipated vacancies or new positions at that site. By March 1st, bargaining unit members will notify the administration via the survey of their requests for reassignment. Positions that are created between March 1st and March 8th due to reassignments, shall be communicated to members who completed the survey.
Voluntary Reassignments. If an employee is voluntarily reassigned, the employee shall be placed at the same step in the pay grade of the new position, resulting in a pay grade consistent with the new position.
Voluntary Reassignments. Teachers who desire a change in assignment may file a written statement of such desire with the Superintendent not later than February 28. Such statement shall include the type of change desired and the order of preference should there be several alternatives.
Voluntary Reassignments. A. Employees may request to be reassigned. It is the responsibility of the employee to locate a position to which the employee would like to be reassigned. Unless there is an established local practice, the employee, or the employee’s Union representative, will submit a written request to the employee’s supervisor who will route the request to the appropriate decision making official.
