Uniform Replacement. Uniform parts which are damaged, or otherwise rendered unusable in the line of duty will be replaced by the University at no cost to the member unless as provided in Section 3. Requests for replacement of damaged uniform parts will be submitted in writing to the Chief of Police or designee for approval. Such requests will include a statement of the circumstances leading to the damage and submission of the damaged item.
Uniform Replacement. A. When the State requires a uniform to be worn as a condition of employment and does not provide such a uniform, the State shall authorize a uniform replacement allowance based upon actual costs for an amount to be determined by the State but not to exceed $450.00 per year for full-time employees, and not to exceed $190.00 a year for part-time employees of the Department of Fish and Game, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Department of Parks and Recreation. B. Uniform means outer garments, excluding shoes, which are required to be worn exclusively while carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the position and which are different from design or fashion of the general population. This definition includes items that serve to identify the person, agency, function performed, rank or time in service. C. In those cases where the State provides the uniform to be worn, the uniform items provided pursuant to this Section are State-owned or leased property which will be maintained as the State deems necessary. Employees issued State-provided uniform items shall be responsible for loss of or damage to the uniform items other than that incurred as the result of normal wear or through no fault of the employee. D. In those cases where the State does not provide the uniform to be worn, Unit 10 employees shall be responsible for the purchase of the required uniform as a condition of employment. After a Unit 10 employee has been employed for the equivalent of one full year in a permanent position which requires a uniform, he/she must submit a request in accordance with existing departmental practice in order to receive a uniform allowance. The uniform replacement allowance anniversary date for employees in the Department of Parks and Recreation shall continue to be February 1 of each year. E. All required uniform items substantiated with a receipt(s) for same will be reimbursed up to the maximum allowance for the respective allowances as listed in Subsection A. above.
Uniform Replacement. The City shall replace clothing and equipment as needed. Employees may receive replacement items commensurate with changes in rank.
Uniform Replacement. If the City determines the need for and requires that an employee wear a uniform, such uniform shall be provided be the City at City expense. When an employee believes that a uniform is worn beyond repair, he/she shall bring it to the attention of the City. If the City agrees, the uniform or part thereof shall be replaced at City expense. All uniforms shall at all times remain City property. Nothing in this Article or any part of the Agreement shall be construed to imply that the City does not have the sole authority to determine who is to wear uniforms.
Uniform Replacement. A. Each member required to wear a uniform shall be annually credited with a uniform replacement allowance in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the purchase of prescribed uniform items only. Such credit shall be placed with a qualified vendor and may only be used by the employee for the purchase of prescribed civilian uniform shirts, sweatshirts or sweaters. Communication Technicians hired during the first six (6) months of the year will not be provided with a replacement credit for the remainder of the calendar year. Communication Technicians hired during the second half of the calendar year shall not receive a uniform replacement credit for the remainder of the year as well as the following calendar year. If replacement is needed during these early periods of employment for whatever reason, the cost shall be paid by the employee. B. Members, who have been employed at least eight (8) months and worked at least one thousand two hundred and fifty (1250) hours in the twelve month period preceding April 1st, may submit original receipts for reimbursement in an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the purchase of black dress, casual or cargo pants. To qualify for the reimbursement, the member must submit an Auditor Expense Report which documents the clothing items purchased and the amount paid for each item along with original qualifying receipts for the purchase of the black pants. The receipts must bear the date of purchase, the item purchased, the amount of the item purchased, and the name of the supplier. Required documentation must be submitted between April 1st and April 15th. Reimbursement will not be made for pants purchased more than twelve (12) months preceding April 1st of the year the IOC is submitted.
Uniform Replacement. 1. In the event of a complete or partial change, the Company will pay for the replacement of the applicable Required Uniform Items listed in Paragraph A. 2. The Company shall bear all shipping costs (delivery/return) for the purchase or replacement of items on the Required Uniform List. 3. Serving garments and overnight bags will be furnished on a loan basis, if needed, while the Flight Attendant obtains a replacement. 4. In the event a Flight Attendant who has received a replacement item terminates her/his employment, such items shall be returned to the Company.
Uniform Replacement. Any uniform, clothing, or equipment as required by the Police Department manual that is lost or damaged during duty hours shall be replaced by the City with uniforms or other clothing of the same brand or a substantially similar brand if the brand is unavailable. Any request for lost or damaged clothing, uniform, or equipment payable according to the provisions of this paragraph shall be made only upon request of the Police Chief after review by the Police Chief for the purpose of determining if the uniform, clothing, or equipment was lost or damaged by the employee while performing employment duties, not as a result of the employee's own negligence. Should the City require a complete change of uniform, including different types of both shirts and trousers or either shirts or trousers, the City shall pay employees for the number of uniforms in employee's possession when there is a change of uniforms, provided however the employee produces the old uniforms. Both parties will cooperate with the other to obtain the lowest possible price for any uniforms to be paid for by the City.
Uniform Replacement. 28-3.01 On January 1, the Company shall provide a uniform credit of three hundred and f if ty dollars ($350) to each Active Cabin Personnel each year. 28-3.02 This credit shall be used towards the purchase of Company-issued uniform pieces each year. Any unused credits remaining on December 31 each year will carry over up to a maximum of seven hundred and seventy-five dollars ($775). 28-3.03 In the event a new uniform is issued to Cabin Personnel by the Company, each Cabin Personnel’s uniform carry over balance shall be reset to two hundred dollars ($200) and the uniform credit allotment for the following year will be prorated based on the number of full monthly scheduling periods remaining in the current year following the issue date of the new uniform. 28-3.04 In the event the initial new hire uniform allotment (i.e. kit) as described in 28-2.01 above, as a whole, is more costly than the current initial new hire uniform allotment, the Parties agree to negotiate both the annual uniform replacement credit in 28-3.01 above and the maximum carry over amount in 28-3.02 above at least sixty (60) Calendar Days prior to the roll-out of new uniforms. 28-3.05 In the event a Cabin Personnel has exhausted their uniform credit allotment and requires new pieces, the Company shall, in extenuating circumstances, provide the necessary p ieces at its discretion. These requests shall not be unreasonably denied. 28-3.06 The Company will replace one (1) roller bag and one (1) satchel every thirty -six (36) months and one (1) lunch bag every twenty-four (24) months, based on normal wear and tear and at the Cabin Personnel’s request. 28-3.07 The Company shall pay all standard shipping costs to the Cabin Personnel’s Designated Primary Residence two (2) times a calendar year. 28-3.08 Cabin Personnel will receive a uniform maintenance allowance of f ifty dollars ($50) for every eighty (80) actual Block Hours f xxxx. The uniform maintenance allowance will be paid as sixty - two and one-half cents ($0.625) per actual Block Hour f xxxx. The actual time spent holding airport standby reserve or performing modified duties in uniform shall be considered actual Block Hours f xxxx for the purposes of this uniform maintenance allowance. NOTE: Effective the first full monthly scheduling period following the ratification of this Agreement
