Called and Cancelled. 62.1 Locomotive engineers called for service and afterwards cancelled will be paid a minimum of 4 hours, or 50 miles, at a rate per hour of 1/8th of the daily rate applicable to the class of service called for. Locomotive engineers held in excess of 4 hours after reporting for duty, before being cancelled, will be paid for all time so held on the minute basis (each 4.8 minutes to count as 1 mile), at a rate per hour of 1/8th of the daily rate applicable to the class of service.
Called and Cancelled. 16.1 Engineers called for service and afterwards cancelled will be paid a minimum of eight (8) hours, or one hundred (100) miles at a rate per hour of one-eighth (1/8th) of the daily rate applicable to the locomotive and class of service called for.
Called and Cancelled. 35.1 When employees are called and subsequently cancelled before they arrive at their on-duty location, they will be compensated two (2) hours pay at their classification’s applicable rate of pay.
Called and Cancelled. 20.01 Employees notified or called to work not continuous with, before, or after their regular assigned hours, shall be entitled not less than two (2) hours at their regular rate of pay as a result of being cancelled.
Called and Cancelled. 32.1 Train service employees who are cancelled after accepting a call for road service will be paid for time held on duty at through freight rates, with a minimum of four hours, and will maintain their original standing on the working board. Train service employees who report for duty and are afterwards cancelled, will be permitted to book up to 8 hours rest at the home terminal and up to 6 hours rest at other terminals without affecting their turn.
Called and Cancelled. When regularly assigned employees are cancelled and are not used, they will be paid the applicable basic day. Spareboard employees who report for duty and are not used will be paid for all time so held with a minimum of 3 hours. Spareboard employees will hold their turn on the spareboard if less than eight hours pay accrues to them under these provisions. Paragraph 5.4 does not apply when an employee is called and cancelled. Payments of less than a basic day made to spareboard employees under these provisions are not considered as time worked and will not be used in the calculation of overtime or in the calculation of guarantee. Employees who are cancelled after the on duty time of their assignment may book rest.
Called and Cancelled. (a) Locomotive engineers cancelled, after accepting a call for service will be paidfour (4) hours the weekly rate). Locomotive engineers held for a period exceeding hours will be paid for all time held. engineers cancelled after leaving shop track or designated track will be paid not less than hours of the weekly rate and will retain their previous standing on the board. Locomotive engineers who report for duty and are afterwards cancelled, will be to book up to hours rest at the home terminal and up to hours rest at other terminals without losing their turn.
Called and Cancelled. 10.01 An Engineer called for duty and afterwards cancelled or set back before reporting for duty will be paid 25 miles at the minimum freight rate. When an Engineer is called for duty and then cancelled or set back after reporting for duty, he will be paid at the rate of 12-1/2 miles per hour at the minimum freight rate for time held with a minimum payment of 50 miles. If cancelled after taking the locomotive from the shop track or change-off point or in case of a run-through train after having started his train or commenced to switch, an engineer will be paid a basic day at the rate and under the conditions applicable to the class of service called for but will be liable for further service to the extent of a minimum day.

Engineers called for service and afterwards cancelled will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours, or fifty (50) miles at a rate per hour of one-eighth (118th) of the daily rate applicable to the locomotive and class of service called for. Engineers held in excess of four (4) hours after reporting for duty, before being cancelled, will be paid for all time so held on the minute basis (each minutes to count as one mile) at a rate per hour of one-eighth (118th) of the daily rate applicable to the locomotive and class of service. Engineers cancelled after reporting for duty will be paid not less than one hundred 00) miles as per class of power and service called for. Engineers in unassigned service who are allowed less than one hundred (100) miles under this Article will hold their turn out, but if allowed one hundred (100) miles or over will be dropped to the bottom of the list. This Article shall not apply to engineers who after reporting for duty, are held on duty and used in service other than that for which called originally. Article Runaround A locomotive engineer first out in unassigned service who is first out and is runaround will be paid actual time lost and will be placed at the bottom of the list ahead of the Engineer who was called in his stead. A locomotive engineer in unassigned service who has come on duty in his turn will remain with the train called for and will not be entitled to compensation under this Article if another locomotive engineer who comes on duty later gets out of the terminal first. In cases of accident requiring the use of auxiliary, the first engineer available may be called without involving claim for runaround. Article Held Away from Home Terminal (Unassigned Engineers) Locomotive engineers in unassigned service who are held at other than their home terminal longer than hours without being called for duty, will be paid on the basis of miles per hour for all time held in excess of hours at the minimum rate in the class of service last performed, except as provided in paragraph of this Article. If rest is booked in excess of hours, these excess hours will be added to the hours. Time to be computed from the time pay ceases on the incoming trip. The rerouting of locomotive engineers in order to return them to their home terminals shall not involve the payment of runarounds. Time to be submitted on a separate time return. Called and Cancelled. (E) An employee called for service and cancelled will be paid sixty-four (64) miles at the basic rate, if cancelled before the time for which he is to report for service and one hundred and twenty-eight (128) miles if cancelled after the time for which he is called. An employee called for service and afterward cancelled will keep the same position he had on the board when he was called. RUN-AROUND
