Coaches' Salaries. A. The salary computations in coaching, including middle school, shall be based on the current BA Step 1 amount. B. Evaluations of coaches shall be done in terms of specific dates, assignments, and expectations as specified in the Xxxxxx Creek Athletic Handbook adopted by the Board of Education on June 7, 1987, a copy of which shall be provided to each coach. Completed evaluations will be given to coaches not later than six (6) weeks after the conclusion of regular or post-season play, at which time the coach will be informed of his/her renewal or non-renewal. C. Any teacher may apply for a vacant coaching position. In filling the position, however, the District shall consider qualifications, attainments, and other relevant factors, including service in the School District as well as applicants from outside the School District. If two or more applicants are equal in the above selection factors, in the judgment of the District, preference shall be given to certified staff. D. Coaches' pay shall be made over the duration of their respective assignments. Each paycheck stub shall indicate the amount of coaching pay received in that pay period. E. The Schedule for coaches shall be at the following percentages of the base amounts established in subparagraph "A" above. Coaches' Salaries. The following assistant coaching positions may be filled. The number in parenthesis indicates the maximum number, while the actual number will be contingent upon the number of teams involved in that sport season and the number of participants. If the number of participants in a given sport warrants, the Association and the Board may, by mutual agreement, increase the number of assistant coaching positions. Two weeks after the official starting date (two weeks after the first day of school for those sports which start before the first day of school) if numbers do not sufficiently warrant, the Athletic Director, Superintendent, and the Association, with input from the Head Coach, may cancel the position(s) with actual pay to be received being pro-rated from the official starting date to date of cancellation. Coaches' Salaries. 1. The coaches' salaries shall be established in accordance with the Coaches' Salary Schedule. 2. The coaches will receive separate pay checks as follows: a. Fall sports coaches shall receive three equal pay checks during the months of October, November and December. b. Winter sports coaches shall receive three equal pay checks during the months of January, February and March. c. Spring sports coaches shall receive three equal pay checks during the months of April, May and June. 3. The work of coaches of fall sports during the months of July and August shall be provided on a voluntary basis without compensation.
Coaches' Salaries. Personnel assigned to the following extra curricular compensatory coaching positions (except for Business Managers and the Director of Sports as noted below) shall be compensated in a check, separate from the amounts called for in Article 25 each school year, at the end of their coaching season, so assigned for the term of this Agreement, according to Appendix B, Schedule B1.
Coaches' Salaries. The West Irondequoit Central School District and the West Irondequoit Teachers’ Association agree that the below noted Coaches’ Salary Schedule is effective from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020. Further, new coaches shall be advised that coaches move from Step I to Step II after two seasons; from Step II to Step III after four seasons; from Step III to Step IV after six seasons; and from Step IV to Step V after eight seasons. Unit members will have preference for coaching positions unless the District can show that a non-unit member has superior credentials and expertise.
Coaches' Salaries. A. Coaches salaries for the 2010-2011 school year shall be shown on the salary guides attached hereto and made a part thereof. B. When an assistant coach is promoted to head coach, years of service as an assistant coach shall be counted for purposes of establishing compensation as head coach.
Coaches' Salaries. Extra-curricular sports shall be paid half of the salary on or around October 15 for fall sports, February 15 for winter sports, April 1 for spring sports, and the balance at the end of the season. Coaches of Middle School Athletics shall be paid a pro-rated portion of the coaching stipends in this appendix, based upon the comparative length of the high school and the middle school seasons. Coaches' Salaries. (1) Head Coaches of interscholastic sports teams will be paid at the rate of $26.49 per hour for the number of hours set forth for their respective sport/activity in Appendix G. (2) The Assistant Varsity Coach and/or Junior Varsity Coach of interscholastic sports teams will be paid at seventy percent (70%) of the hourly rate for Head Coaches of such teams for the number of hours set forth for the respective sport/activity in Appendix G. (3) The Freshman Coach of interscholastic sports teams will be paid at sixty percent (60%) of the hourly rates for Head Coaches of such teams for the number of hours set forth for their respective sport/activity in Appendix G. (4) All other Assistant Coaches of interscholastic sports teams will be paid at fifty five (55%) of hourly rates for Head Coaches of such teams for the number of hours set forth for their respective sport/activity in Appendix G. (5) (a) A person may request an adjustment in computed hours if the time listed does not accurately reflect the time spent. A committee consisting of the principal of the school involved, the Superintendent's designee, and NEA in Danbury president (or designee) shall determine the validity of the requested adjustment. The committee decision shall be recommended to the Superintendent of schools for approval.
