Hours and Holidays. Art. III, Sec. 1 - The normal workday shall be eight consecutive hours of work, except for a lunch period. The hours of work shall be from 6:00 am through 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 or 5:30 p.m. All overtime charged at rate of time and one half (1 1/2). Art. III, Sec.2 - The normal workweek shall be five consecutive workdays, divided into five days from Monday to Friday inclusive. No Saturday, Sunday, or holiday work will be performed without written notification to the Union prior to commencement of work. Art. III, Sec. 3 - Variation in hours of work or in days of work cannot be changed unless mutually agreed upon by the parties hereto. Art. III, Sec. 4 - In the event that any overtime work shall exceed two hours in duration, there shall be a rest period of one half hour between the normal eight-hour day and the overtime period. Art. III, Sec. 5 - Employees shall be allowed time during working hours to turn in time sheets or to collect their pay if not on the job. Art. III, Sec. 6 - All employees shall be permitted five minutes before lunch and ten minutes before quitting time to clean up. Art. III, Sec. 7 - Employers not having work for the following day shall notify Journeypersons and apprentices at the close of the working day. Any employee not so informed and who reports for work the following day shall receive two hours pay for so reporting. Art. III, Sec. 8 - “The following holidays shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half (1-1/2) if worked: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed on Monday.” Art. III, Sec. 9 - A make-up day is permitted on the Saturday (with written notification of the area Business Representative) provided it is in the same week as the lost day. A make-up day is defined as a day lost to inclement weather or other act not within the control of the employer. However an employee shall not be required to work a make-up day and may not be laid-off in the event he elects not to. Start and finishing hours may be varied upon permission from the area Business Representative. Overtime shall be paid in excess of eight Art. III, Sec. 10 - If a Journeyperson or apprentice is required to use his or her own vehicle to travel greater than thirty (30) miles outside of his or her home zone, he or she shall be compensated the IRS Allowable Rate (calculated on May 1 each year) per mile one way for each mile ...
Hours and Holidays. (a) Residential collections shall be made between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Industrial Park collections shall be made between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. All other collections may occur between the hours of 4:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with no service on Sunday or holidays as listed under paragraph (b) below. (b) The Village observes the following legal holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Contractor is required to observe the listed holidays as non-collection days for all residential collections. In the event a holiday falls on a scheduled collection day, collection will be made the work day prior to the holiday. Business, Industrial Park or Medical Facility Customers may be collected on legal holiday if so required. In the event a holiday falls on a Monday, the collection will be made on the following Tuesday. Contractor shall be responsible for publishing notices of any changes in collection schedule in the Village’s official newspaper or by other means with the approval of the Village Administrator.
Hours and Holidays. 3.8.3.1. Commercial Collection Service shall take place between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. 3.8.3.2. Contractor shall not be required to provide Commercial Collection Service on Holidays. In the event Commercial Collection Service falls on a Holiday, collection services shall be provided the next Day. Designated Facility All Solid Waste, Recyclables, Yard Trash, and Bulk Waste collected by the Contractor pursuant to this Agreement must be delivered to a Designated Facility, unless otherwise approved by the Contract Manager in writing. Contractor may tip all materials collected from Residential Customers at no cost to the Contractor. Contractor may tip Recyclables collected from Multi‐Family Customers at no cost to the Contractor. Contractor must pay the commercial tip fee for all multi‐family and commercial Solid Waste. The Designated Facilities are as follows: • Solid Waste and Bulk Waste: North Transfer Station or South Transfer Station • Recyclables: South Transfer Station • Yard Trash: Xxxxx Landfill or Xxxxxx Landfill Additional Responsibilities 3.10.1. Restrictions on Collection of Mixed Loads 3.10.1.1. Contractor shall collect Solid Waste, Yard Trash, Bulk Waste and Recyclables generated in the Service Area separate from any materials generated outside of the Service Area. 3.10.1.2. Contractor shall collect Solid Waste, Recyclables, and Yard Trash separate from each other unless allowed by written approval of the Contract Manager. 3.10.1.3. Contractor shall collect Solid Waste generated by Residential Customers separate from Solid Waste generated by Multi‐Family and Commercial Customers. 3.10.1.4. Contractor shall not mix or commingle Recyclables with Solid Waste. Contractor shall collect Recyclables generated by Residential and Multi‐Family Customers separate from Recyclables collected from Commercial Customers. If Recyclables from Commercial Businesses are commingled with Residential or Multi‐Family Customers, the entire load shall be considered residential Recyclables collected on behalf of the County for the purposes of revenue payment. 3.10.1.5. Contractor shall collect Bulk Waste in a manner that allows separation of White Goods, E‐Waste, tires, and other Recyclables, as identified by the County, at the Transfer Stations.

Any child dropped off who is not on the schedule and has not been arranged to be at the center will be charged a $65.00 drop in fee. If your child cannot be accommodated, we can and will refuse service. Tuition Express gives you the option of paying with electronic check, debit card, credit card or EBT (State Assistance). Invoices and Payments may be tracked online after registration or upon request. AristoCat Children’s Academy does not accept cash or check. Teachers cannot accept fee payments in any way. If for any reason a payment is declined, a fee of $35.00 will be added to the account for each time the decline occurs.

Hours and Holidays. 4.2.4.1. The Transfer Stations and Recycling Facility will be open to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT, Monday through Friday and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon CDT, Saturday. The County reserves the right to alter the operating hours of the facilities. Contractor and County agree to negotiate a reasonable fee adjustment if such change in operating hours affects operating costs. 4.2.4.2. Contractor will close the Transfer Stations and Recycling Facility on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. 4.2.4.3. The County reserves the right to require the opening and operating of the Transfer Stations outside of the regular hours during times of emergency or urgent need. The Contractor shall staff and equip the facility to meet the needs of the County during such emergency openings.

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to four weeks paid vacation each Fiscal Year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. Vacation must be taken by the Executive at such time or times as approved by the Chairman of the Board or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any Fiscal Year that are not used by the Executive during such Fiscal Year may not be used in any subsequent Fiscal Year.

  • HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY 165. 1. A holiday is calculated based on an eight hour day. The following days are designated as holidays: January 1 ( New Year's Day) the third Monday in January (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s birthday) the third Monday in February (Presidents' Day) the last Monday in May (Memorial Day) July 4 (Independence Day) the first Monday in September (Labor Day) the second Monday in October (Columbus Day) November 11 (Veterans' Day) Thanksgiving Day the day after Thanksgiving December 25 (Christmas Day) 166. Provided further, if January 1, July 4, November 11 or December 25 falls on a Sunday, the Monday following is a holiday.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate. 9.3.2. A full-time employee who works other than a Monday through Friday schedule and who is not scheduled to work on a calendar holiday shall be given at the discretion of the Employer (1) another scheduled workday off with pay, or (2) an additional day's pay at his/her regular rate if funds are available.

  • Vacation and Holidays Executive will receive four weeks of paid vacation each year in addition to all holidays observed by the Company and its subsidiaries. Executive may carry over, in the aggregate, up to four weeks of unused vacation to a subsequent year. Any unused vacation time in excess of four weeks will not accumulate or carry over from one calendar year to the next. Each calendar year, Executive shall take not less than one (1) week vacation.

  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled to four (4) weeks (28 business days) of vacation, and also sick leave and holidays at full pay in accordance with the Company’s policies established and in effect from time to time.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate. 5.3.2 Additional holidays recognized in the Construction Industry in each geographical area will be observed on all work covered by this Appendix.

  • PAID HOLIDAYS (a) A full-time employee who otherwise qualifies hereunder shall receive the following paid holidays:

  • Payments Due on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the date of maturity of interest on or principal of the Securities of any series or any Coupons appertaining thereto or the date fixed for redemption or repayment of any such Security or Coupon shall not be a Business Day, then payment of interest or principal need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date of maturity or the date fixed for redemption, and no interest shall accrue for the period after such date.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above described holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus twice their base rate for all hours worked on such holidays.
