Overtime and Premium. For all regularly scheduled hours worked by the rotating shifts regularly scheduled to work on a calendar Sunday, the rate paid will be time and one-half (1 1/2) of the employee’s base rate. This is total payment on which no premiums shall be compounded. Should these employees work overtime on a calendar Sunday, they will be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2) for the first four (4) hours and double time thereafter. Employees working on their scheduled day off will be paid eight (8) hours at time and one-half (1 1/2) and double time for any additional hours. Double time at the employee’s basic hourly rate shall be paid for the seventh (7th) consecutive day worked, in the calendar week. The Company shall post the overtime accrued by employees in a Department on a monthly basis.

Overtime and Premium. Pay rates will be paid as follows: (A) All time worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one (1) work week will be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2). (B) No employee will be required to take time off from their normal work schedule during the work week in place of receiving any overtime compensation for any hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one (1) work week. (C) All time paid under this Contract for sick leave, holidays, vacation, jury duty and funeral leave shall be counted as time worked for the purpose of computing overtime. (D) Overtime premium shall not be pyramided, compounded or paid twice for the same time worked, except for work performed on a holiday.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period.   • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) An employee shall be paid a shift premium of eighty-five cents (85¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700 hours. (b) Effective July 1, 2013, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Shift Premiums (a) All employees who are required by the Employer to rotate over two (2) or more shifts shall receive a shift premium of thirty cents ($0.30) for each hour worked on the afternoon or evening shifts only. Shift premium will not be paid for any hour in which an employee receives overtime premium and shift premium will not form part of the employee's straight time hourly rate. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.
