Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave. 14.1 PTO Leave - PTO leave is earned by regular full-time employees of Yakima County as described below for each month of completed service. Regular part-time employees earn PTO leave on a pro- rated basis according to the hours budgeted for the position. PTO leave is not available to the employee until after having served thirty (30) consecutive days of employment.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave. A. Bargaining Unit employees will accumulate four (4) PTO days on July 1 of each school year and will accumulate one (1) PTO day each month of services. For purposes of accrual of PTO leave benefits under this Article, the term "PTO leave day" means the number of hours the employee is regularly scheduled to work each workday. An eligible Unit employee who has less than a 1.0 FTE will accrue PTO leave on a pro-rata basis. ● 9-month employees = 4 +9 for a total of 13 PTO days ● 10-month employees = 4 +10 for a total of 14 PTO days ● 12-month employees = 4 +12 for a total of 16 PTO days
B. Paid time off leave cannot be taken on the following block-out days without approval: ● Educators, Administrative Assistants, Support Staff, SISP, and Nurses: on the first or last instructional day of each quarter or the last instructional day prior to scheduled school breaks, including fall, winter, and spring breaks.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave. The Employee shall be entitled to PTO each year in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors and the board of directors of the Bank for executive officers. The Employee also shall be eligible for voluntary leaves of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave. 14.1 Paid time off (PTO) leave is provided by the City in order to maintain the employee’s salary while on approved time off from work, subject to the employee’s available balance. All regular employees and all probationary employees (after thirty days of employment) are allowed to use accrued PTO leave. Employees shall accrue PTO leave based upon paid regular hours. PTO leave shall accrue at the following rates for full time employees based upon years of service, as determined by the adjusted date of hire. Relevant accrual rate changes will be effective in the pay period in which the employee’s length of service date falls subject to adjustments made per this section. 14.2 In addition to the accruals above, full-time employees will be credited with forty-eight (48) hours of PTO leave when they have completed their initial probationary period.
14.3 PTO leave benefits for regular part-time employees (twenty hours per week or more) shall be accrued on a pro-rata basis based upon paid hours.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave. Full-time Regular Employees shall earn PTO Leave each calendar year as follows: PTO leave for anticipated time off (e.g. vacation) shall be scheduled at times when the least interference with the workload would exist. Requests for leave in most cases must be made to the supervisor or director of the activity to which the staff member is assigned. Requests for leave of more than one (1) day must be made in writing. All such leaves should be requested sufficiently in advance and scheduled in such a way as to result in a minimum disruption of work. An employee who is taking PTO leave for personal appointments scheduled in advance shall notify their supervisor at least two workdays in advance of the leave. An employee who is taking PTO leave for an unscheduled event shall notify their supervisor on the first day of the leave or earlier if possible and provide an estimate of when return to work is expected. In cases of continuous illness and absence of five (5) or more days, the staff member may be requested to submit a physician’s statement.

An employee may utilize PTO allowances for absences of sick leave as outlined in 12.1, per Personal & Emergency leave as outlines in 12.2, for Union Leave as outlines in 12.5, for Vacation Leave as outlines in Article 14, and upon termination.
