REQUIRED COMPETENCIES. When Temple determines to add a required competency to a department, it shall notify the Union. Training for required competencies will be made available on work time, and uninterrupted time provided for employees to complete required learning. If the Hospital authorizes an employee to complete the required competencies electronically while not at work, the employee shall receive her or his regular rate for the time the Hospital deems necessary to complete the training.

  • Cultural Competence 1. Grantee will make reasonable efforts to provide services that meet each client’s individual needs and takes into consideration the intellectual functioning, literacy, level of education and comprehension ability of each client in order to ensure that all information is presented in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. 2.
