Training & Education Fund. (a) _Effective October 12, 2006, the Employer agrees to contribute five (5) cents per hour to the Local 1 75 and 633, United Food and Commercial Workers Union, for all hours paid and worked by all full-time and part-time employees.
(b) The Employer shall forward the contributions every four (4) weeks to the Union and shall include a list of employees, the number of hours paid and worked by each employee during each four (4) week period.
Training & Education Fund. 32.1 Annual lump sum payments shall be made to the union, upon issuance of an invoice, as follows: Upon Ratification- $600 Effective January 1, 2021 - $600 Effective January 1, 2022 - $700 Effective January 1, 2023 - $800
Training & Education Fund. The State and the Union agree to jointly fund special training and education programs for employees in the Administrative and Clerical Services, Professional, Primary Level Supervisory and Higher Level Supervisory negotiations units. Such training and education programs must be mutually agreed to by the Office of Employee Relations and the Union and may include, but not be limited to, areas of specialized technical training, job skills refresher courses, and professional or career development, which are related to the employee's job, or which may be necessary or directly beneficial to career advancement within State service. Employees eligible to participate in a program must be employed in a CWA negotiations unit and must be on the payroll at the beginning and at the end of the program. Additional eligibility requirements shall be mutually agreed to by the State and the Union. The program shall be funded equally by the State and the CWA, with each party paying up to a maximum of $25,000 in each year of the Agreement. The parties may on a one time basis, elect to carry over money not utilized during a one year period to the next year.
Training & Education Fund. A. The Union and the Hospital shall establish a joint labor-management training and education fund for the purpose of providing job training and/or continuing education programs to benefit RI Hospital and its employees. The Fund shall be jointly administered by an equal number of Union and Hospital member.
B. The Hospital will contribute $150,000 per year to the Fund for educational programs as determined by the joint committee. The funds payable hereunder shall be paid in May of each year.

18.01 The Company agrees that a full-time representative of the Union, after contacting the Unit Manager, may enter the premises at the location during hours of employment to interview employees and deal with the administration of this Collective Agreement, provided the Company can obtain permission for such a visit from the customer at the location. It is agreed that such visits will be timed to cause as little disruption as possible to the normal conduct of the business. A RTICLE 19 - DURATION
19.01 This Agreement shall be in force and effect from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, shall continue automatically thereafter for annual periods of one (1) year each, unless either party gives notices in accordance with 19.02.
19.02 Either party may give the other party notice of amendment of this Collective Agreement at any time within ninety (90) days prior to the expiry of this Collective Agreement.

A committee including two representatives of the Union, two from OER, and two from the Training Division of the Department of Personnel shall meet with the objective of assisting in the development of this program. It shall be the responsibility of the Department of Personnel to determine the program and the resources to be made available after reviewing recommendations of this committee. The State and the Communications Workers of America agree to establish a committee to review and discuss State Departments’ sick leave policy.
