VACATION/HOLIDAY. Holiday vacation will be defined from Thanksgiving through New Year's. Requests for holiday leave submitted by October 1 will be approved on a seniority basis. The holiday vacation schedule will be posted by November 1. Vacation granted during holidays shall be in conjunction with the holiday rotation practices of the unit. Adequate core staffing will be maintained. The hospital shall utilize supplemental nurses to the extent of their availability to provide for vacation/holiday time for other nurses.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. 13.1 In each fiscal year, each full-time employee shall be granted vacation according to the following schedule: Years of service 40 hour Employees 1st year thru 5th year 128 hours (16 days) (.0616) 6th year thru 15th year 176 hours (22 days) (.0847) 16th year thru 25th year 216 hours (27 days) (.1039) 26th year and beyond 224 hours (28 days) (.1077) For 40 hour employees floating holidays are included in the vacation schedule. Designated holidays shall be handled in accordance with the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation (St. ▇▇▇▇ Ordinance No. 6446). For 56 hour employees in each IRS payroll year, each full-time employee shall be granted vacation according to the following schedule: Years of service 56 hour Employees 1st year thru 5th year 252 hours (10 shifts 12 hrs)* 6th year thru 15th year 308 hours (12 shifts 20 hrs)** 16th year thru 25th year 375.2 hours (15 shifts 15 hrs 12 min)*** 26th year and beyond 386.4 hours (16 shifts 2 hrs 24 min)**** * 4.5 x designated work week ** 5.5 x designated work week *** 6.7 x designated work week **** 6.9 x designated work week For 56 hour employees all floating and designated holidays are included in the vacation schedule. One shift shall be the equivalent of 24 hours. For purposes of this Article, qualifying years of service shall be based on an employee’s original employment date with the City.
13.2 The department head may permit Employees to carry over into the following fiscal year, vacation time equivalent to three work weeks. Vacation schedules shall be fixed by the department head. An Employee not working full-time shall be granted vacation on a pro- rata basis.
13.3 Employees separated from employment by reason of resignation shall be granted such vacation pay as has been earned and remains unused at the time of separation, provided notification of resignation has been sent to the department head, in writing, at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the date of resignation. Employees separated from employment by reason of discharge, retirement, or death shall be granted such vacation pay as has been earned and remains unused at the time of separation. Employees granted more vacation time than earned at the time of separation from employment shall pay the Employer for such unearned vacation. VACATION/HOLIDAY. In the event a holiday falls during the period an employee is on vacation for which the employee is eligible, he/she shall be paid his/her holiday pay in addition to his/her vacation pay, on a straight time basis, or be given the option of rescheduling another day of vacation.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. When a holiday falls within an employee's vacation period and the employee is absent from work because of vacation, the employee will receive compensation for that day as a holiday, and the day will not be considered as a vacation day.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. SICK LEAVE AND SHORT-TERM DISABILITY POLICIES. Marine and/or Chaparral shall credit all Employees for any accrued vacation and sick leave earned but not taken by such Employees in the current year through the Spinoff Date; and provided, further, that Marine and/or Chaparral shall be solely responsible for payment of, and shall indemnify, defend, reimburse and hold RPC and its Affiliates harmless from and against, any accrued vacation, sick leave payoff or short-term disability liability to any Employee incurred by or imposed upon RPC under its current vacation, holiday, sick leave and short-term disability policies or under any applicable state or local law or statute. Any such accrued vacation, holiday, earned but not taken sick leave or short-term disability leave shall be credited in accordance with the vacation, holiday, sick leave and short-term disability policies adopted or maintained by Marine or Chaparral effective on and after the Spinoff Date.

2.1 Vacation and Holiday contributions on all overtime paid at time and one-half.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. A. Vacation: Each 12-month administrator will be entitled to twenty-five (25) vacation days annually.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. When a holiday occurs during the vacation, the employee shall be granted a day off with pay. Such day off shall be the last working day prior to the vacation, the first working day following the vacation, a mutually agreed upon day to be taken within thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the vacation week in which the holiday falls, or the vacation day shall return to the employee’s bank. G16.01 Whenever the Company determines it appropriate to create a new job title or job classification in the bargaining unit, or restructure or redefine an existing one, it shall notify the Union in writing of such job title or classification and shall furnish a description of the duties and the wage rates or schedules initially determined for such job titles or classifications. Such wage rates or schedules shall be designated as temporary. Following such notice to the Union, the Company may proceed to staff such job title or classification.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. Vacation and Statutory Holiday Pay shall be credited weekly to each employee covered by this Collective Agreement, at the rate of ten percent (10%) of the gross wages earned, and income tax will be deducted weekly. It is understood and agreed that four percent (4%) of the gross wages is to be considered Vacation Pay and six percent (6%) of the gross wages is to be in lieu of Statutory Holiday Pay. It is further understood that Vacation Pay and Statutory Holiday Pay credits will be paid to employees on termination and during the first week of July and November in each year.
VACATION/HOLIDAY. SICK Vacation (VHS) hours can be used for time off with pay or can be cashed out without taking time off. VHS hours start accumulating with an employee's first paycheck. Regular Full‑Time or Part‑Time employees will be eligible to start using accumulated VHS hours for time off after the completion of his or her 90-day probationary period. After his or her first anniversary, an employee will then have the option to cash out VHS hours in addition to the using them for time off with pay. On-Call employees shall start accumulating sick leave with the employee’s first paycheck, in accordance with this Section. Each pay period, an employee will earn a portion of his or her yearly maximum of VHS hours. For every hour that an employee is paid, VHS hours are earned. This includes Regular, Overtime, and VHS hours. VHS hours will be paid at your current regular rate of pay under the heading "Personal." Each new anniversary year, VHS hours will be earned based on the years of service, and new yearly maximum of V H S hours will be adjusted accordingly (see chart). If an employee accrues over 120 hours, he or she will receive a check for the additional amount. Using VHS hours: If an employee chooses to use VHS hours for time off with pay, he or she will first schedule the time off with his or her supervisor, then complete a VHS request form, indicating the hours that should be applied to time off. If an employee chooses to use VHS hours for extra cash, a request to have some or all of his or her benefit hours added to his or her payroll check (this can be done after the first anniversary on any pay check), can be specified on a VHS request form indicating the hours that are to be cashed out. Starting with an employee's hire date, one VHS hour will be earned for every 26 hours worked. After completion of the 90-day probationary period, an employee may start using VHS hours for time off benefits, and after the first anniversary, an employee can use VHS hours for time off or they may cash them out. Upon termination, no employee shall be entitled to cash value of any accrued, unused VHS hours unless the employee has been with the company for one year or more.
