Voluntary Dues Deduction. The Employer will deduct biweekly membership dues and, if appropriate, initiation fees, payable to the Association upon receipt of a voluntary written individual authorization from any employee on a form provided by the Employer. The Employer will terminate dues deduction for any of the following reasons:
1. the employee signs a cancellation notification provided by the Employer;
2. the employee is reduced in force;
3. the employee is terminated, resigns or is permanently assigned to a classification title which is excluded from the bargaining unit. The Employer for the term of this Agreement shall withhold other Association deductions from those employees who have voluntarily and individually authorized such deductions by executing a written authorization form. Such deductions shall remain in effect until the Employer is properly notified in writing by the employee to terminate such deductions. The Association may establish a dues payment plan for its members allowing them to pay annual dues directly to the Association and without any payroll deduction. The Association shall provide the Employer with a list of employees who are paying their dues in this manner and for whom no payroll deduction is to be made, no later than September 30th of each membership year.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. During the term of this Agreement for those employees who have voluntarily executed payroll deduction authorization cards which are delivered to the Human Resources Department, Employer will deduct from their pay the monthly Union dues and initiation fees as designated by the Union and shall promptly remit any and all amounts deducted. The Union agrees to indemnify and save Employer harmless against any and all claims, suits, expenses, and other forms of liability that may arise out of or by reason of action taken in reliance upon such individual authorization cards or by reason of the Employer’s compliance with the provisions of this Article. Employees shall have the right to voluntarily withdraw the payroll deduction authorization at any time by providing notice of said withdrawal to Employer and the Union in writing.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. 1. The District agrees to deduct from the salaries of members of the Coxsackie-Athens Teachers' Association the combined dues for the Coxsackie-Athens Teachers' Association and its professional affiliates as said members of the CATA shall individually and voluntarily authorize the District to deduct.
2. Individual authorization for dues deduction shall be in writing in the form set forth in Section 7 of this Article, and such authorization shall remain in effect so long as the individual executing same is employed by the School District or until revoked in writing by the individual executing same. An individual may withdraw their authorization for dues deduction by filing written notice to the effect with the School District Business Office.
3. The Coxsackie-Athens Teachers' Association shall certify to the School District Business Office in writing by October 1st of each year the current rate of membership dues for the combined associations indicated in Section 1.
4. The Coxsackie-Athens Teachers' District Business Office shall submit to the School District Business Office a list of new members who have executed authorization cards along with their original authorization cards by October 1st of each year. The authorized deductions shall be made for each individual member by totaling the annual membership dues for the combined associations and deducting these total dues in seventeen equal installments commencing with the second payroll in October. Dues deductions shall continue for the specified period so long as the member is entitled to receive pay sufficient to cover the deductions. In the event a suspension of pay occurs for any member which prevents the Business Office from completing the total authorized deductions during the scheduled deduction period, the CATA shall make special arrangements with such member for the collection of the dues remaining unpaid.
5. A unit member who is initially employed by the District subsequent to October 1st of a school year may have dues deducted from the unit member's salary during that year. Dues deduction will commence on the first appropriate payroll following receipt by the Business Office of an executed dues deduction authorization card from the teacher and a certification of the total amount of dues, to be deducted for that teacher from the Association for that school year.

Voluntary Dues Deduction. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of the members of the bargaining unit dues for membership in the Plainfield Education Association, the New Hampshire Education Association, and the National Education Association as said members of the bargaining unit individually and voluntarily authorize the Board to deduct and to transmit the monies promptly to the Plainfield Education Association. Members of the bargaining unit who elect to have dues deducted for the above named Associations may authorize these deductions by filing the appropriate form on or before October 15th of any school year.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. Upon receipt of written authorization signed by an employee, the School Administrative Unit 36 office shall deduct an amount to provide payment of dues for membership in the Association from the regular salary check of that employee. Membership will be continuous, unless the member withdraws their membership by October 15th. Deductions shall be made in equal amounts for consecutive pay periods, beginning with the first full pay period following receipt of the employee’s authorization. Amounts so deducted shall be remitted to the Association’s treasurer. Authorization forms shall be as hereinafter specified and must be signed by the employee and returned to the School Administrative Unit 36 office no later than October 15 of any school year in which that person wishes the deductions to be made. New members shall have a prorated amount deducted in either 10 or 20 equal payments (at the member’s option), provided that the employee becomes a member before October 15.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. The Board agrees to deduct dues from the salaries of its employees for the Lawnside Education Association, the Camden County Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the National Education Association, or any one or any combination of such Associations, as said employees individually and voluntarily authorize the Board to deduct.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. A. Any full-time teachers in the bargaining unit may voluntarily:

2. Full-time teachers hired during the school year may tender only a pro rata amount of the fee.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. BU employees may discuss, freely and informally, with his/her supervisor matters which affect the BU employee’s conditions of employment.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. A. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of its teachers dues for membership in the Lafayette Education Association and the National Education Association/New Hampshire.
B. Teachers who elect to have dues deducted may authorize these deductions through the President of the Lafayette Education Association, who will forward a list of teachers and the correct amount to be deducted from each teacher's salary to the School Administrative Unit office prior to November 1st of each school year. The deductions shall be made in 10 consecutive pay periods beginning in November. The amounts deducted shall be remitted to the President of the Lafayette Education Association monthly starting in December.
Voluntary Dues Deduction. 1. The District agrees to deduct Federation dues on a semi-monthly basis, upon receipt of a written authorization from a teacher authorizing such deduction or when required by applicable law and to transmit the monies deducted to the Federation. The Federation shall have the right to change the dues once a year upon fifteen (15) days' written notice prior to the effective date of such change. The District shall not be required to honor for any month's deductions any authorizations submitted to it later than the tenth of the month prior to the distribution of payroll from which the deductions are to be made.
2. The District shall monthly provide the Federation a list of all employees for whom dues have been checked off. Any teacher desiring to have the District discontinue deductions that he/she has previously authorized must notify the District in writing by September 15 of each year for that school year's dues unless prohibited by law.
3. Employees covered by this Agreement who do not voluntarily maintain membership in the Federation shall be required to pay an agency fee to the Federation for those services the Federation is required to provide. The agency fee shall be the same amount and payable at the same time and in the same manner as the dues of the Federation members. The Federation affirms that it has adopted procedures for refunds of agency fee deductions as required by law.
4. The District shall not be responsible for the collection of dues other than as provided in this Article. The Federation shall indemnify the District and hold it harmless for any claim or liability arising from its deduction from paychecks and transmittal to the Federation of dues or agency fee. This clause shall not apply if the District makes an error in the calculation, deduction, or transmittal to the Federation of said Federation dues or agency fees.
