Employment Preparation a. Upon determination of a participant’s readiness to engage in Employment Preparation services the Program staff person and participant will participate in the following activities as guided by the ISP; • Interviewing techniques • Resume development • Application preparation • Appropriate work behaviors and work ethics • Relevant work practices • Appropriate grooming and hygiene • Assistance in becoming knowledgeable regarding the impact of employment on the consumer and their disability • Assistance with benefits planning related to employment • Identification of additional support services such as meeting transportation, child care, or other needs. b. This service will be provided by Cooperative Mental Health Clinician, Cooperative Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Cooperative Mental Health Worker, & the Cooperative Peer Support Specialist. c. Service Goals/Number Served • For fiscal year 2023-2024, a total of 25 unduplicated participants will receive this service • For fiscal year 2024-2025, a total of 25 unduplicated participants will receive this service • For fiscal year 2025-2026, a total of 25 unduplicated participants will receive this service
Employment Preparation. Workshops Provide CLIENTs transportation to the 18 employment support programs to access Job Search resources, such as 19 newspapers, directories, job listings, computers, and telephone banks.
Employment Preparation. This is a training center that serves youth who have interest in preparing themselves for their next job and the Project complements with the educational offer. Currently there are 2 centers. There are 40 training centers served by the partnership network, they have staff from their institutions or volunteers, it is managed by partners. Training centers develop a direct intervention process with youth and the total population of youth who assist to these training centers to receive education during the first quarter of 2014 was of 1,335, this corresponds to 60% of the FY2014 goal. During this quarter calling channels have widened for the promotion of the component by AIS: churches, companies, town halls and NGO´s in supported territories. The designed calling strategy intends to have a wide coverage in the different media and types of communication, to publicize the opportunity of an integral proposal to return to school. The strategy contains the following types of media communication of the projects services. • Preparation of promotional resources: Flyers, posters, banners related to the promotion of services offered by the project. • House by house plan: This strategy will be used in the majority of municipalities, the main objective is reaching every place that has the highest poverty rate and to identify youth that have stopped going to school due to their economic situation or due to violence. • Visiting churches in the intervention municipalities: Visits will be made to churches with different faiths, project advertising will be handed-out to the different activities they develop (masses, spiritual retreats, etc.) We are looking for support from youth groups in every church so they can be spokespersons and identify youth who belong to their churches and who are not in school. • Visit public schools and private schools: Visits will be made to Public Schools in the intervention municipalities, the purpose is to speak with the school principals and teachers to let them know about the project and find a mechanism where they can provide a list of youth who have dropped-out of school this or in part years.
Employment Preparation. Through this Access Agreement, the University College will increase the preparedness of students from widening participation backgrounds for graduate level employment. This is achieved through the work of the Centre for Workplace Learning and the Careers Service. The initiatives will target those students from non-traditional HE backgrounds who may have poor social capital, and disabled students who may face particular issues in acquiring work experience and preparing themselves for the workplace. This will be achieved through one-to-one sessions with Careers Consultants, Graduate Labour Market information services, Careers Coaching, employer engagement, employability skills development, accredited work placement opportunities and GradClub, which provides careers advice and information for two years after graduation. These initiatives are designed to help both with retention of these students and to enhance their outcomes in terms of achievement at university and successful transition into graduate careers. In response to the changing economic climate and the widening participation agenda, the University College has employed a Graduate Careers Coach to provide assistance to those students with exceptional talent or those who may face particular difficulties accessing graduate level work. This service will focus on raising aspirations of students and targeting those from under-represented groups with the goal of encouraging a diverse range of students to enter different job sectors at graduate level. Students will be encouraged to undertake accredited work placement modules offered by the Centre for Workplace Learning as part of their degrees and will be supported in doing this by individual tutors from the University College and by appropriately qualified workplace supervisors who will promote student learning in the workplace. The placement modules will give students the opportunity to build confidence and a sense of responsibility, gain specific skills relating to chosen career paths, understand what they have to offer to employers, explore career options and boost their CV‟s. They will also improve their academic outcomes by experiencing theory in practice. In conjunction with the Careers Service, which provides one to one sessions with Careers Consultants, they will have the opportunity to explore and discuss their career aspirations, understand the range of experiences that are open to them, develop employability skills, build social and professional ...
Employment Preparation. The LAUSD DOTS/TPP staff will provide job seeking skills training and preparation, either individually or in a group setting, to DOR student/clients prior to entering into a specific job search. Activities include:  Assessment/review of appropriateness of referral and job choice  Analysis of pertinent student information and reports of prior work experiences and performance  Instruction of individuals and/or groups regarding techniques for obtaining and maintaining employment, such as:  Interviewing techniques  Resume development  Application preparation  Appropriate work behaviors  Relevant work practices  Appropriate grooming and hygiene  Provide specialized employment preparation for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH). These include interview techniques, resume development, application preparation, instruction in appropriate work behavior, grooming and hygiene.

The WAIII Program Coordinator, WAIII Intake Specialist, WAIII Job Developer, WAIII Program Director, WAIII Counselors, WAIII and WAIII Internship Instructor will provide Employment Preparation services. b. Service Goals/Number to be served For fiscal year 2024-2025, a total of 40 unduplicated participants of DOR services will receive Employment Preparation services. For fiscal year 2025-2026, a total of 40 unduplicated participants of DOR services will receive Employment Preparation services. For fiscal year 2026-2027, a total of 40 unduplicated participants of DOR services will receive Employment Preparation services.

  • Term of Employment and Termination The Company and Executive acknowledge that Executive's employment is and shall continue to be at-will, as defined under applicable law, and that Executive's employment with the Company may be terminated by either Party at any time for any or no reason (subject to the notice requirements of this Section 4).   • Employment Termination 12.1 Subject to the terms and conditions of the National Building and Construction Industry Award 2000, it is agreed that it is the company’s prerogative to determine the order of selection of employees for employment or retrenchment subject always to the following: a) All relevant legislation governing unfair dismissal, discrimination, etc. will be observed; b) Voluntary terminations will be encouraged as a first step; c) The seniority of employees – within classifications, experience or skills held – will be considered by the company in selecting employees for retrenchment; d) The Grievance Procedures set out in Clause 9 of this Agreement will apply in the event of any concerns arising regarding retrenchments.
