Field Hours. For field hours positions, hours of work will be two hundred and twenty-four (224) hours in a six (6) week period, the cycle of defined six week periods commencing and continuing from January 6, 2019. Within each six (6) week period, an Employee will have flexibility to govern her hours of work within any day or series of days to meet client and essential program needs. The following provisions will apply:
(a) Overtime rates, as per Article 15.04, shall be paid for any hours worked that exceed twelve (12) hours in a day or two hundred and twenty-four (224) hours in any six (6) week period.
(b) In addition to the regular rates of pay, a shift premium of $2.10 ($2.75 effective July 1, 2015) per hour for all work required to be performed between 1800 and 0700 hours.
(c) Within each six week cycle, an Employee shall be entitled to a minimum of twelve (12) days off. Additionally, full-time Employees shall be entitled to two Additional Day(s) of Rest (ADR) within each six week cycle. Field Employees shall be entitled to the provisions of Article
15.01 A. (b) with respect to banking ADRs.
(d) Each day paid for sick leave, annual vacation, public holiday and paid leave of absence shall be considered a shift worked.
(e) For the purpose of tracking field hours of work, the Employer will post in the same location as Employee time- sheets, the attached calendar as per the Collective Agreement marking the weeks 1-6. The designation of position(s) as field hours positions shall be subject to discussion by the parties. Factors to be considered when reviewing the matter shall include the following: Nature of the work Type of service provided Operational considerations. Requests for a change to the designation of a position(s) may be initiated by the Employer, Employee, or union. Consideration of such a request shall include the same above factors. Should agreement not be reached by the parties on the designation of a position, then the matter may be referred to arbitration in accordance with Article 9.08, or some other mutually agreed to adjudication process.

(b) In addition to the regular rates of pay, a shift premium of $1.50 per hour for all work required to be performed between 1800 and 0700 hours.
(c) Within each six week cycle, an Employee shall be entitled to a minimum of twelve (12) days off. Additionally, full-time Employee s shall be entitled to two Additional Day(s) of Rest (ADR) within each six week cycle. Field Employee s shall be entitled to the provisions of Article 15.01 A. (b) with respect to banking ADRs.
(d) Each day paid for sick leave, annual vacation, public holiday and paid leave of absence shall be considered a shift worked.
(e) For the purpose of tracking field hours of work, the Employer will post in the same location as Employee time-sheets, the attached calendar as per the collective agreement marking the weeks 1-6.
Field Hours. Renter understands that failure to end the scheduled activity at the designated time will result in an additional charge of $100 per hour. Renter understands that all renters’ equipment will be removed from the premises upon termination of the event, unless special arrangements have been made with TYSMG, LLC and provided for in writing.
Field Hours. The Employer and the Union believe that in order for Community School Coordinators to work closely with school staff and the communities to facilitate and deliver a wide array of supports to pupils, their families and their school communities, Community School Coordinators’ hours of work shall, of necessity, be flexible. The educational and cultural needs of the pupils, families and the school communities will be best met if Community School Coordinators provide service on days and at times that have been previously agreed to by the Principal and the Community School Coordinator and are in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement. A Community School Coordinator shall, in consultation with the principal of the school, plan each four-week block of time, taking into account the educational and cultural needs of the pupils, families and the school community and recognizing the personal needs and family/community obligations of the Community School Coordinator. With respect to the four-week time block that includes the days of work from Christmas Day to the first school day of the succeeding calendar year, the Employer and Union shall mutually agree to schedule an eight-week block of time of 271 and 1/3 hours to include the above. The provisions of Article 14.4 shall apply after 271 and 1/3 hours in the eight- week block. If a block of time is shorter than four weeks for any reason (for example at the start of the school year or the end of the school year or at the beginning or end of an employee’s appointment), the number of hours in the block shall be calculated by multiplying the number of working days by 7 1/3 hours. Any provision for the carryover of hours from one block to another, in excess of 14 2/3 hours, may occur only with the mutual agreement of the parties. This Letter of Understanding shall be in effect as of the first of the month following ratification and shall remain in effect up to and including August 31, 2016, and from year to year thereafter, subject to the negotiating process. l) Article 18.05 – Recognition of Previous Experience Employees commencing employment, or commencing employment in a position never held previously, who have previous experience acceptable to the Employer shall be placed on the salary range in accordance with the following:
(a) Less than one (1) year of experience in the three (3) years immediately preceding the date of employment shall be placed at step 1.
(b) One (1) year of experience in the three (3) years immediately preceding the date of employment shall be placed at step 2.
(c) Two (2) years of experience in the four (4) years immediately preceding the date of employment shall be placed on step 3.
(d) Three (3) years of experience in the five (5) years immediately preceding the date of employment shall be placed at step 4.
(e) Four (4) years of experience in the six (6) years immediately preceding the date of employment shall be placed at step 5. Notwithstanding the above, the Employer reserves the right the exceed the above guidelines where it is deemed necessary. Where previous experience has been obtained through recent service in other than full-time employment, recognition of such previous experience will be based on the number of hours paid. One (1) year experience will be recognized for each full year of recent service, according to the full-time hours for that classification as defined in Article 15.

(a) Overtime rates, as per Article 15.04, shall be paid for any hours worked that exceed twelve (12) hours in a day or two hundred and twenty-four (224) in any six (6) week period.
(b) In addition to the regular rates of pay, a shift premium of $.70 per hour for all work required to be performed between 1800 and 0700 hours. Effective April 1, 2003, the shift premium will be one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) cents an hour.
(c) Field employees shall be entitled to the provisions of this Article with respect to ADRs and banking ADRs. The designation of new positions as field hours positions shall be subject to discussion by the parties. Factors to be considered when reviewing the matter shall include the following: ▪ Nature of the work ▪ Type of service provided ▪ Operational considerations. Requests for a change to the designation of an existing position may be initiated by the employer, employee, or union. Consideration of such a request shall include the same above factors. Should agreement not be reached by the parties on the designation of a position, then the matter may be referred to arbitration in accordance with Article 9.08, or some other mutually agreed to adjudication process.

Field Hours. The Employer has the right to schedule shifts in field work as required. If an employee is asked to travel then the travel time will be paid in lieu of the additional shift. Employees will be available to travel after eight (8) hours from the end of their shift. Employees may elect to travel before the eight (8) hours; however, it must be consciences of the members of that shift to travel at an earlier time. Clause 9.3 will apply to the overtime. Overtime will only be paid after eight (8) hours of travel time or Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Field Hours. The hours of work of any employee designated by agreement between the parties as a field employee shall be unregulated, within any working day or series of working days, provided that they not exceed one hundred and twelve (112) hours in any three (3) week period, or in any series of three (3) week periods as agreed locally. The following provisions will apply:
(a) Any hours worked in addition to the above hours shall be overtime and subject to the provisions of this Article.
(b) In addition to the regular rates of pay, a shift premium of 70¢ per hour for all assigned hours between 1800 and 0700.
(c) Field employees shall be entitled to the provisions of this Article with respect to ADRs and banking ADRs.
Field Hours. Unless an employee requests reduced hours, the Employer will provide a minimum of sixty-five (65) hours paid work per pay period in field positions: Canvassers, Trainers, and Crew Leaders. The exact hours scheduled may be modified to adjust for long days and avoid exceeding forty (40) hours in a week.
