Overtime Limitations. With the exception of court-related or emergency overtime, officers may decline overtime work in excess of fifty-two (52) hours’ duty time in any work week or twelve (12) hours’ duty time in any work day. No overtime premium will be paid to officers working out of town unless prior approval is obtained for such overtime.

Overtime Limitations. No employee shall be compelled to work overtime in excess of one (1) hour unless by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. The Employer shall post and maintain a current seniority list at all times in a conspicuous place at the terminal. An employee may indicate on such list that he is willing to work overtime in excess of one (1) hour per day and may change such indication on Friday of each week. The overtime limitation under this Section shall apply to terminal overtime only during the regular workweek. During the regular workweek, classification seniority shall apply to early starts on a rotational basis except drivers permanently working on house accounts.
Overtime Limitations. A shift exceeding sixteen (16) hours shall only be worked in an emergency situation such as when Supervisors are unable to contact Employees on the overtime list, natural disasters, emergency responses, etc. At no time shall any Employee work a continuous shift longer than sixteen (16) hours unless an emergency situation exists.
Overtime Limitations. For the purpose of this article, when calculating overtime “hours worked” shall include paid time off, with the exception of sick time leave. For non-law enforcement personnel and those employees whose special assignment requires an adjusted work schedule, including, Marine Patrol, Forest Patrol and Emergency Services, and those in their probationary period while attending formalized training, such as the academy: Non-law enforcement personnel and employees on special assignment shall be compensated at one and one-half (1-1/2) times their regular rate for overtime work in excess of forty (40) hours in any one (1) week. For the purpose of overtime, these employees shall work a forty (40) hour week, and overtime shall be paid after forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period, and not after eight (8) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period.
Overtime Limitations a. No worked time over 12.5 hours (productive) in a 24-hour period. The 24- hour clock for this purpose begins with the start of the shift. Registered Nurses who work an evening shift with no additional hours shall not be prevented from working the following day due to this provision.
Overtime Limitations. (A) The overtime provision contained in 6.04 and 6.05 above will be paid only up to and including the rank of Lieutenant. In addition, the provisions of these sections do not apply to conferences or seminars.
