Services and Scope to be Performed. Presumption that Duty is Contractor’s. The Contractor shall provide the following scope of work:
Services and Scope to be Performed. The Contractor shall conduct facilitative and support services as outlined in Attachment A, “Description of Services”. The services shall be as directed and authorized by the Durham Project Manager, as designated by the director of the Department of Water Management. In this contract, “Work” or “Project” means the services that the Contractor is required to perform pursuant to this contract and all of the Contractor’s duties to the City that arise out of this contract.
Services and Scope to be Performed. Presumption that Duty is Contractor’s. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the following services:
A. Provide training to City staff on the separation/sorting and packaging for transport of electronic waste within forty-five (45) days of the commencement of the Contract and as deemed necessary thereafter. Necessary reasons for follow up training may include, but are not limited to: change of City staff, addition or reduction in acceptable materials, and problems in packing as noted in subsection J of this Section.
B. Provide sufficient material for packaging (Xxxxxxx containers and pallets) to City for the proper packaging of electronic waste. Shrink wrap material shall be provided by the City of Durham
C. Assist the City in loading the pallets into the Contractor’s transportation vehicle and complete appropriate manifest/xxxx of lading.
D. Transport all loaded materials to primary and secondary (if necessary) sorting facilities.
E. Recycle the electronic equipment collected from the City in accordance with all Local, State, and Federal laws, and any applicable electronic recycler certification(s).
F. Segregate, bulk, and secure all materials for transport as required and complete appropriate manifests, providing a copy of these manifests to the City upon request.
G. Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws for transport of collected material.
H. Comply with all the requirements of the City’s Waste Disposal and Recycling Center’s Permit and operating plan as updated from time-to-time, and which is incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein.
I. Keep a current listing of all electronic material collected, transported, and recycled. Provide to the City on a monthly basis a report detailing weight data by category.
J. Inform the City within five (5) business days of any problems in the sorting or packing of received material.
K. Obtain from the City prior written approval of all subcontractors proposed to be used under this Contract.
L. Maintain and provide proof to the City that the Contractor holds a recognized electronics recycler certification during the entire term of the Contract. Currently recognized certification standards are: the Responsible Recycling Practices (R2) and the e-Stewards® standards. Should Contractor wish to have an additional certification standard satisfy this term of the Contract, the prior written approval of the City shall be required.
Services and Scope to be Performed. Contractor shall perform the services and activities outlined in Attachment A, “Statement of Work”. Those services and activities are hereby referred to in this contract as “the program” or the “Work”. The Contractor shall begin performance of those services and activities on or about July 1, 2016. It shall complete those services and activities by June 30, 2017. Unless the context requires otherwise, if this contract states that a task is to be performed or that a duty is owed, it shall be presumed that the task or duty is the obligation of the Contractor.
Services and Scope to be Performed. The Contractor shall perform the scope of work found in Exhibit A. In this contract, “Work” means the services that the Contractor is required to perform pursuant to this contract and all of the Contractor’s duties to the City that arise out of this contract.
Services and Scope to be Performed. In accordance with customary and generally accepted industry procedures, with all City-determined originating and underwriting procedures and with any specific procedures agreed upon and lead by the Contractor, as agent for the City, and on behalf of the City, shall:
a) Obtain the borrower’s completed pre-application package after it has been received and reviewed by the City of Durham, and analyze credit report to determine and document program eligibility;
b) Meet with the borrower and assist with the completion of the FNMA 1003 application. The City of Durham will submit the application with supportive documentation to obtain an in-file credit report on each applicant;
c) Assist with the review of all applications, credit history and income to determine eligibility for a loan;
d) Assist with the underwriting and origination of City loans complete with all documentation and information obtained from the borrower for the determination of the eligibility and approval of the borrower and property being purchased or rehabilitated;
e) Ensure that all documents and mortgage loan requests are in compliance with the City’s guidelines relative to debts and income ratios, income analysis, appraisal, credit history etc., as outlined in the City of Durham’s Reference Guide for Residential Mortgage Loans, City of Durham Forgivable Mortgage Loan Programs and City of Durham Rehabilitation Forgivable Mortgage Loan Program;
f) Ensure xxxxxxx monies are deposited and communicate with City staff and others involved in the loan process to obtain information and documents necessary to complete the first mortgage loan approval;
g) Prepare all documents that are customary and appropriate to properly document, secure, and make loans enforceable;
h) Coordinate and schedule loan closings with the borrower(s) and closing attorney(s), along with preparation and submission of request for funds for the first and second mortgage to the City. A detailed list that outlines specific loan terms, payment, Loan-to Value etc., will be submitted to the City along with the request for funds;
i) Prepare all required closing documents for the City’s first or second position loan and deliver the originals to the closing attorney for the scheduled closing;
j) Engage legal counsel with assistance from the borrower satisfactory to the City to provide opinions as to the validity of liens or encumbrances on all property related to the loan, or which will require a search of the Secretary of State and/...

Services and Scope to be Performed. The purpose of this contract is for the procurement and installation of up to nine (9) Solar-Power Energy kits to power 9 Passenger Information Systems (AVL) signs at nine select bus stop locations throughout the City of Durham. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the Attachment A – Special Provisions. The contractor is expected to work cooperatively with Xxxxxxx Devices Inc, formerly called Digital Recorders Inc. the vendor of the AVL signs for the successful installation and functioning of the project. Services and Scope to be Performed. The Designer shall provide design services as follows:
Services and Scope to be Performed. Contractor shall perform all services and scope in accordance with FEMA 321-Public Assistance Policy Digest, FEMA 322- Public Assistance Guide, FEMA 323- Public Assistance Applicant Handbook, FEMA325- Public Assistance Debris Management Guide including hazardous and industrial waste materials and within the time specified in this contract and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The selected Contractor Contractorwill be expected to provide disaster debris monitoring services utilizing automated debris management system (ADMS) technology. The selected monitoring Contractor may, at the sole discretion of the City of Durham, be allowed to subcontract project monitoring; such monitoring shall include detailed web based cost and load tracking suitable for a comprehensive audit of debris removal. The City may limit the number of subcontractor Contractors working under the prime or sub-prime contractor at its sole discretion for any reason. The selected monitoring Contractor’s response to the recovery process must be immediate, rapid, and efficient, with acceptable cost controls and accountability procedures, and with written reports and submittals in place, to assure that the City will have the means to be reimbursed for all eligible disaster recovery costs from appropriate Federal and State Agencies. All monitoring shall be done in compliance with FEMA and FHWA guidelines. Those monitoring efforts shall include, but not limited to:
(a) Provide assistance in updating the City’s Debris Management and Removal plan including, conducting an annual tabletop exercise (s) to determine the adequacy of the debris removal plan and debris management process.
(b) Provide training of selected City staff in essential debris monitoring and collection functions to insure appropriate and responsive interface with field debris collection contractors and County, State and Federal Agencies.
(c) Provide field inspectors at designated checkpoints to check and verify information on debris removal and at Temporary Debris Storage Reduction Sites (TDSRS) located or developed throughout the City or the County if necessary as approved by the City.
(d) Provide technical assistance associated with the need to locate TDSRS. The Contractor shall obtain, on behalf of the City, all necessary Local, State, and Federal permits for any designated TDSRS or any other related debris monitoring site.
