Supplementary Pay. 1. The administrators and teachers in each school shall determine the activities to be sponsored and paid for from the Supplementary Pay Account.
2. In 1999, the allocation shall be: Elementary Schools $600.00 Middle Schools $650.00 Senior High Schools $700.00 The per pupil allocation shall be $.95.
3. Teachers who receive flat-rate pay for a specific activity are not eligible for supplementary pay for the same activity.
Supplementary Pay. All of the provisions of Teachers Policy 4142 apply to SSP employees.

Supplementary Pay. Supplementary pay for specific, selected activities out of the normal contract, and extracurricular activities shall be as set forth in Schedule B, which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. The Board will not capriciously deprive a teacher of continuing in a particular extra- duty for which he is qualified. Payment for assignments under Schedule B will be in accordance with the following schedule:
1. All staff members may have their base pay plus one additional line item.
2. Those staff members being utilized in three (3) or more line items will have the option of selecting the two they wish to appear on their payroll. The other will be handled in the following manner:
a. At the conclusion of the activity.
b. For those going year round, at the conclusion of the first semester and second semester.
Supplementary Pay. 1. The District will have three (3) categories of extra duty positions identified as follows: Curriculum at $34 per hour; Instructional Supervision at $32 per hour; and General Supervision at $30 per hour. When a *lunch period position becomes available, the Lunch Program Supervisor shall seek volunteers for all paid lunchroom and noon playground positions. If volunteers do not come forward to be employed in these positions, the Supervisor shall assign Teachers to those positions on a rotating basis according to the reverse seniority list published annually by the Superintendent. * The wording for this section will be reviewed by the Extra Duty Joint Committee to consider all student safety related positions.
Supplementary Pay. 1. The Driver’s Training teacher(s) shall be paid $14 per hour behind the wheel with students.
2. Compensation for teaching work not considered a regular, on-going classroom assignment but requiring the services of a credentialed teacher shall be paid at the teacher’s regular hourly rate.

For the 2021-2022 school year Teachers will be paid for this work pursuant to the 2016-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement. A. Such duties and responsibilities for a full-time teacher are in addition to the teaching assignment for which normal preparation and performance are expected. Supplementary pay will apply only to those situations which clearly demand an additional amount of student contact time and/or responsibility outside the regular teaching assignment.
B. Individuals requesting the creation of any supplemental pay assignment on Schedule A shall be provided with the appropriate application form by the Athletics and Activities office. At the secondary schools, this form is submitted to the building level Activity or Athletic Director for action. At the elementary school, the form is submitted directly to the school administrator for action. The teacher always has the opportunity to discuss any program concern with other appropriate administrators. The building-approved request is then sent to the Athletics and Activities office for final action. All assignments on Schedule B, known as Category XI activities, shall be approved at the building level. Any assignments created for Schedule C shall be negotiated by the District and Association.
C. That if any portion of a teacher’s supplemental duties coincides with the teaching assignment, a performance agreement between that teacher and the school administrator(s)involved will be developed to clearly specify duties, time commitments, evaluation standards and obligations to the regular teaching assignment.
D. Coaches and/or sponsors paid on Schedule A are recognized for no more than five (5) years of previous experience, as verified by the school administrator or designee, in order to determine initial placement on the Supplementary Pay Schedule A. Each year of verifiable and comparable experience performing the extra duties and responsibilities of the supplemental pay assignment will equal one (1) year of experience.
E. Experience under one supplemental pay position does not automatically transfer to another reassignment, but such experience may be evaluated for recognizing reasonable and appropriate years of experience.
