Employee Recourse a. An employee who is in the bargaining unit for all or part of the period between the first day of the collective agreement (i.e., the day after the expiry of the previous collective agreement) and the signature date of the collective agreement will be entitled to a non- pensionable amount of four hundred dollars ($400) payable within one-hundred and eighty (180) days of signature, in recognition of extended implementation timeframes and the significant number of transactions that have not been entered in the pay system as of the date when the historical salary records are retrieved.
Employee Recourse a) Employees in the bargaining unit for whom this collective agreement is not fully implemented within one hundred and eighty (180) days after signature of this collective agreement will be entitled to a lump sum of two hundred dollars ($200) non-pensionable amount when the outstanding amount owed after one hundred and eighty-one (181) days is greater than five hundred dollars ($500). This amount will be included in their final retroactive payment.
Employee Recourse. Any employee who feels subject to discrimination or harassment should immediately report it to Management and/or Union Executive. Any reports or complaints made to the Company will be referred to the Union Executive by the Company. No retaliation against the employee will take place. Such reports will be investigated thoroughly by Company and Union Representatives. If the report has merit, disciplinary action will be taken against the offender. Depending on the severity of the misconduct, the disciplinary action could range from a warning to termination.
