SCOPE OF UNIT.
2.1 The bargaining unit shall include all regular full-time, permanent part-time and intermittent classified civil service employees of the University certified by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (hereinafter, SERB) on April 10, 1985, in Case Number 84-RC-09-2011; on October 8, 1987, in Case Number 87-REP-7-0030; on September 4, 1992, in Case Number 92- REP-04-0078; on December 15, 1995, in Case Number 95-REP-03-0060; on March 19, 1997, in Case Number 97-REP-02-0026; on April 24, 2004, in Case Number 04-REP-03-0059; on January 13, 2005, in Case Number 04-REP-11-0215; on June 21, 2007, in Case Number 07-REP-05-0080; and on March 14, 2019, in Case Number 2019-REP-01-0006. Appendix A to this Agreement specifies by position classification the full-service and permanent part-time service positions included in the bargaining unit; Appendix B to this Agreement specifies by position classification and department the classified positions which are currently excluded from the bargaining unit. Section 28.1 (“Intermittent Employees”) specifies the method by which intermittent employees will be included in the bargaining unit. Any new classification(s) added to the bargaining unit, either by mutual agreement or SERB determination, shall be added to Appendix A as though originally included in the bargaining unit.
2.2 The parties will meet and confer to discuss the bargaining unit status of regular full-time, permanent part-time or intermittent classified civil service employees (as cited in Section 2.1 above) and/or classified or unclassified vacancies that are newly created or involve potential classification changes. This action will take place before either party submits the matter to SERB for a final and binding determination of bargaining unit status. Pending a decision reached by the
SCOPE OF UNIT.
2.1 : The bargaining unit shall consist of those employees of the University serving in positions in the bargaining unit certified by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (hereinafter SERB) in Case No. 86-REP- 3-0093 on November 20, 1986, as amended by Case No. 87-REP-7-0191 on August 13, 1987, as amended by Case No. 88- REP-05-0086 on May 24, 1988, as amended by Case No. 90-REP-12-0318 on January 10 1991, as amended by Case No. 2011-REP-10-0098 on November 1, 2011, as amended by Case Nos. 2010-REP-04-0060 and 2010-REP- 04-0061 on August 14, 2014. The positions included in the bargaining unit are listed on Appendix A to this Agreement.
2.2 : Excluded from the bargaining unit shall be all other employees of the University, all students (other than bargaining unit members enrolled in classes), all individuals who are not “public employees” as defined by Ohio Rev. Code Chapter 4117 and all employees whose base pay is supported in whole or in part by externally funded sources in accordance with Board Policy 3356-7-43.
2.3 : If, during the term of this Agreement, a question arises concerning the bargaining unit status of a full- time or part-time Professional/Administrative staff member, the parties will meet to discuss the matter before submitting the issue to SERB for a final and binding determination of bargaining unit membership. In those cases, the employee shall continue in the position assigned by the University. Should SERB rule in the Union’s favor, union dues shall commence as of the date of the SERB ruling. Bargaining unit members who accept a voluntary move to a different position supported in whole or in part by external funding sources after an initial appointment or who are assigned supervisory duties over one or more employees shall be removed from the bargaining unit.

The positions included in the bargaining unit are listed on Appendix A to this Agreement.
2.2: Excluded from the bargaining unit shall be all other employees of the University, all students (other than bargaining unit members enrolled in classes), all individuals who are not “public employees” as defined by Ohio Rev. Code 4117 and all employees whose employment is dependent on externally funded sources. Professional/Administrative positions excluded from the bargaining unit are listed on Appendix B to this Agreement.
2.3: If, during the term of this Agreement, a question arises concerning the bargaining unit status of one or more full-time or part-time Professional/Administrative staff members whose titles are not listed on Appendix A or B, or whose title is listed on Appendix A or B, but whose duties and responsibilities have changed significantly during the term of the Agreement, the parties will meet to discuss the matter before submitting the issue to the Ohio State Employment Relations Board for a final and binding determination of bargaining unit membership. If the University and the Association do not agree upon the status of a Professional/Administrative Staff member whose responsibilities and duties have changed significantly during the term of the Agreement, the staff member’s bargaining unit status will remain unchanged until a final and binding determination by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board.
SCOPE OF UNIT. In accordance with Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, of the State of New Jersey, the Board of Education of the Borough of Madison, New Jersey, hereinafter known as the “Board”, recognizes the Madison Administrators’ Association, hereinafter known as the “Association”, as the exclusive and sole representative for collective negotiation of terms and conditions of employment for all Administrative Personnel in the following District positions: Building Principals Assistant Building Principals Director of Special Services All other personnel are excluded from the scope of the Madison Administrators’ Association bargaining unit and any other position which would require a principal or appropriate certification for the position.
SCOPE OF UNIT. The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining representative for all regular full-time, regular part-time, per diem, temporary and probationary employees employed by the Employer at its Port Angeles hospital and its ambulatory surgery center in Sequim, Washington designated by the classifications set forth in the attached wage schedule (see Appendix A), excluding supervisors and all other employees.

SCOPE OF UNIT. The Unit described herein shall consist of all employees in the classifications set forth in the Appendix, excluding all other employees and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.
SCOPE OF UNIT. 2.1: The bargaining unit shall include all regularly employed full-time members of the classified staff of the Youngstown State University Police Department who are classified as University Police Officer 1, University Police Officer 2, University Police Sergeants, University Dispatcher 1, and University Dispatcher 2.
2.2: A University Police Officer (Probationary) 1 and a University Police Officer 2 patrols campus grounds and buildings and University property to protect lives and property; prevents crimes and enforces laws; investigates crimes; makes arrests; testifies in court; directs traffic; prepares reports; and performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.
2.3: A University Police Sergeant performs the duties specified above for a University Police Officer 2 and in addition may be assigned functional supervision over University Police Officers 1, University Police
2.4: A University Dispatcher 1 receives and transmits radio communications dispatching personnel and equipment; maintains attendance records; receives and records telephone calls; operates computer terminal receiving and transmitting messages; maintains communication log; and performs other reasonably related duties.
2.5: A University Dispatcher 2 performs the duties specified above for a University Dispatcher 1 and in addition exercises functional supervision over University Dispatchers 1, making assignments, training personnel, monitoring work performance, etc.; a University Dispatcher 2 performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.
2.6: Excluded from the bargaining unit shall be all unclassified (Professional/Administrative) staff members, all clerical and/or secretarial personnel, all intermittent and/or part-time personnel, students serving as student assistants, and all supervisory staff classified as University Law Enforcement Supervisor, Criminal Investigator Supervisor, or higher.
2.7: Also excluded from the bargaining unit shall be all employees of the University who are not defined as "public employees" under the provisions of Ohio Revised Code 4117 (Am. Sub. S.B. No. 133) as defined by said statute and by applicable rules, regulations, orders, and judicial interpretations issued, promulgated, and/or rendered during the term of this Agreement.

SCOPE OF UNIT. All full-time and regular part-time employees of the City of Xxxxxxxx, Illinois, employed in the following divisions: Water/Water Reclamation and Electric Operations Division; but excludes all clerical employees, supervisors, confidential employees, managerial employees as defined by the Act, and all other employees of the City of Xxxxxxxx.
SCOPE OF UNIT. The Unit described herein shall consist of persons employed as Radio Announcer/Operators, FM Maintenance Engineers (defined as FM Lead Engineers and, FM Maintenance Engineers) and Operating Technicians to perform the duties described herein below, excluding all other employees and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.
