Secretarial/Clerical. Full time; Eight and one-half (8-1/2) consecutive hours [including one-half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch period] as stipulated by the Superintendent/Principal. Part time position of at least four (4) consecutive hours may be established for a special needs. Example: Part time counseling office secretary.
Secretarial/Clerical a. The payroll schedule for 12-month (260-day) employees is based on 12 pay periods within the year beginning on July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year. The payroll schedule for 11-month (238-day) employees is based on 12 pay periods within the year beginning on August 1 and ending July 31 of the following year. The payroll schedule for ten-month (216-day) and 200-day employees is based on 12 pay periods within the year, beginning on September 1 and ending August 31 of the following year. Scheduled pay days are the last working day of each month. In the event a regularly scheduled pay day falls on a holiday, employees will be paid on the last working day preceding the holiday.

Secretarial/Clerical. The twelve (12) month work year for secretaries shall be from July 1st to June 30th unless designated as a ten (10) month position.
Secretarial/Clerical a. Each job title shall be assigned to one (1) of two (2) job classifications. The classification to which a job title is assigned shall be determined by the District primarily based on skills and performance responsibilities.
Secretarial/Clerical. A. If there is a co-op program in the Romulus School district and secretarial/clerical assistance is requested by an administrator through this program such request may be granted, if approved by the Superintendent.

Secretarial/Clerical. A. Secretarial/Clerical personnel shall work a seven and one-half (7 1/2) hour day, including a one-half hour lunch and two ten (10) minute breaks. The regular workweek for full-time employees will be five (5) days, Monday through Friday.
Secretarial/Clerical. Category A secretaries will be provided a start and finish time for their school day from the immediate supervisor. These times will be consistent throughout the week. The time commitment will be in line with the Full-time Equivalency (FTE) decimal number that was used at the time of the appointment for the school year (see attached FTE calculation page). • Category B secretaries are hired at a Full-time Equivalency (FTE) that is expressed as a decimal number. These secretaries will work the fraction of days hired in relation to the full 200 contractual work year (10-month), 260 contractual work year (12-month). (e.g., a 10-month secretary hired at 0.60 FTE is expected to work 0.60 * 200 days = 120 days; these days will typically take on a regular pattern [possibly M, W, F] – but need to total the contracted amount by the year’s end; see attached FTE calculation page.)
