Vacation Time Accrual. Any APA who discontinues his/her service under the provisions of paragraph 6.8.1 does not forfeit his/her right to earned vacation time, except if s/he has been employed for less than one (1) calendar year.

Vacation Time Accrual. Vacation Time accrual is based on paid hours and any overstaff hours. Hours paid in excess of eighty (80) per pay period will not accrue Vacation Time. Call and non-paid hours do not accrue Vacation Time. Vacation Time Accrual. All regular employees of the Clerk of Court’s Office are entitled to annual, paid vacation time in accordance with the following: Less than 1 full calendar year of service .916 days for each full month of service After one full calendar year of service 2 weeks After 5 full calendar years of service 3 weeks After 10 full calendar years of service 4 weeks After 15 full calendar years of service 5 weeks After 20 full calendar years of service 6 weeks After 25 full calendar years of service 7 weeks In addition to the above schedule, each employee is entitled to one additional, discretionary vacation day following one (1) full calendar year of service.
Vacation Time Accrual. Note: for the purposes of calculating accrual of time: (a) An employee with a hire date between the 1st and 15th of any month is considered to have been employed for that whole month. (b) An employee who was hired between the 16th and the 31st of any month is considered to have been employed for one half of that month. (c) When an employee’s length of service reaches a point where s/he qualifies for increased vacation (e.g. 5 years full-time employment) the new vacation entitlement will begin accruing on the 1st day of the month following the employee’s anniversary date. (d) Employees do not accrue vacation pay during any continuous period of time not worked in excess of thirty (30) calendar days. Upon return to work, if all previous vacation benefits have been used, the employee may request vacation time, without pay, which will not exceed the vacation time they would have earned if they were actively at work. Approval is at the discretion of the Employer. (e) It is not necessary that employees wait a full year before they can use earned vacation time. Once an employee has completed the probationary period with the Employer, s/he is eligible to request the use of any earned vacation time banked, subject to written approval by the immediate supervisor. (f) Vacation entitlement cannot be taken in advance of it being accrued and banked.
Vacation Time Accrual. The current part time employee moving to PPTE shall be credited with years of service with the City of Petaluma for the purpose of determining vacation accrual rate and limit. The PPTE will accrue vacation at a rate of 50% of the outlined accrual rates in section 12.1 of the MOU. PPTE will begin to accrue straight time compensatory time once they exceed their regular number of hours based on their FTE. The employee may instead choose to be paid at the straight time rate for all hours worked in excess of their regular number of hours. PPTE will accrue compensatory time or overtime at a rate of time and a half in the same manner as Job Share employees once they exceed ten hours in a shift. PPTE will accrue compensatory time or overtime at a rate of time and a half once they exceed forty hours in a week.
Vacation Time Accrual. All classified workers shall accrue vacation leave with pay at the following rates: 1st - 4th year - 1 working day for each month of service 5th - 9th year 1-1/4 working days for each month of service 10th year and 1-2/3 working days for each month of service thereafter A worker absent without pay for more than ten (10) working days in any one (1) month shall not earn vacation days for that month.

The dispatch supervisor follows the procedure outlined in a memo titled “communications center staffing and overtime ordering,” dated June 4th, 2013. The memo states the total number of overtime hours of the past two pay periods will be the general guideline. PPTEs will be considered to have accrued “overtime” for the purposes of mandatory overtime order-in’s any time they exceed ten hours in a day or twenty four hours in a week.

Vacation Time Accrual. On the employee’s first anniversary date, and every anniversary thereafter, the employee shall earn vacation hours to use in the upcoming year. Vacation time is based on the average number of hours worked during the previous anniversary year (excluding overtime hours, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week) and years of service with the company. Any vacation carried over will be paid at the wage rate in effect at the time the vacation is earned. If the employee terminates, only vacation earned, but unused from the previous anniversary date, shall be paid at termination.
