WORK FLEXIBILITY. 5.1 The Chief Executive Officer may require an employee to undertake any duties the employee is reasonably capable of performing, and may move an employee to another position at the same or a higher level, provided that the employee is given at least five (5) working days’ notice where practicable.
5.2 An employee may agree to a shorter notice period than the period provided under Clause 5.1.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. 15.1 In order to capitalise on the growth of our products and further secure the future of the Berkeley Vale workplace, it is agreed that a number of flexible working patterns are necessary to accommodate fluctuations in demand and to provide the Company with the ability to optimise opportunities for increased production as they become available.
15.2 The Employee will perform all work within their skill and competence, including work that may be peripheral and/or incidental to their main task or function in order to cope with changing work patterns and the introduction of new technology, and to ensure the efficient utilisation of labour. The Employee may be required to do any task within their capability providing that the request is not unreasonable and provided it is safe to do so. Where the new tasks significantly change the nature of the Employee’s classification to such an extent that a different classification is appropriate, the Employer will re-classify the Employee.
15.3 To ensure the effective utilisation of labour, Employees shall work throughout the site across the range of machines, equipment and processes depending upon the operational needs and the knowledge, skills and competence of the Employee.
15.4 The Employer, after consultation with Employees and subject to suitable training and occupational health and safety requirements being met, retains the right to temporarily transfer Employees between sections for short-term periods to facilitate work requirements on an as needed basis. When so requested, the Employer may take into account an Employee’s domestic commitments and will ensure that no Employee is financially disadvantaged as the result of a short-term or temporary transfer. Short-term periods will be defined as up to three (3) months, but may be extended by mutual agreement between the Employer and Employee.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. All employees, regardless of their primary function, will perform duties allocated to them for which they are competent/skilled or able to perform without jeopardising their safety or the safety of their workmates.
WORK FLEXIBILITY.
11.1 When an employee is required to perform the duties of a classification higher than his/her own, for a period of three consecutive days, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay for all hours worked retroactively to the first day of said assignment.
11.2 The above section notwithstanding, in the absence of the Cook Manager, an employee shall be designated to perform the functions of a Lead Person and shall receive an additional one dollar and twenty five-cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked for the first three (3) consecutive days worked. Commencing on the fourth day, the employee shall be paid at step one of the cook manager’s classification.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. The Union and Authority agree that the work by bargaining unit employees under this agreement is based on work flexibility. Work flexibility or flex work means that each employee may be requested and agrees to do work of the bargaining unit beyond the scope of normal position;there will no longer be traditional lines or barriers drawn around the duties of any particular position. Employees will retain their current position title and associated pay rate (which is also addressed specifically for employees in Appendix Employees may continue to perform duties associated with their current position; those duties will be in addition to or may be delayed by other bargaining unit duties the employee may be directed by the Authority to perform under this work flexibility arrangement. WORK FLEXIBILITY. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are reasonably within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required, provided that the employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment (where relevant). Any direction issued by an employer pursuant to this clause will be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. The parties agree that all efforts will be made to ensure the continuous operation of the plant and machinery and employees will assist within the limits of their knowledge. Maintenance should be notified immediately where problems cannot be resolved by the employee.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. Section 13.1 It is understood that from time to time, an employee may be required to perform part or all of the duties of a classification other than his/her own without affecting his/her rate of pay. However, when an employee is required to perform the duties of a classification higher than his/her own for eight (8) hours or more, he/she shall begin to receive the same hourly step in the higher classification as his/her step in his/her normal classification for those hours that the employee actually performs the duties which distinguish the higher classification; and provided further, that employees who regularly work the evening shift, shall continue to receive their night differential when required to perform the duties of an employee on the day shift. If the assignment to the higher classification is made to temporarily replace another employee, the rate of the employee so assigned shall not exceed the rate paid to the employee being replaced.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. Eatfresh Pty Ltd may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of their skill, competence and training. Such duties may include work that is incidental or peripheral or may fall outside of those tasks specified in the employee’s classification or individual contract of employment. Eatfresh Pty Ltd may direct an employee to carry out duties and use such equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained or has otherwise acquired the necessary skills in the use of such equipment. Any such direction will be consistent with Eatfresh Pty Ltd’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
WORK FLEXIBILITY. 5.9.1 QR Network Pty Ltd may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are reasonably within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
