General scheduling i) The Employer agrees that it will not require an employee to work a schedule of more than seven (7) consecutive days without her/his consent. ii) At least two (2) consecutive tours will be scheduled off between shift changes. A shorter period of time off may be agreed upon by mutual consent. iii) At least forty-eight (48) hours time off will be scheduled following the night shift when changing schedules to either the day shift or the evening shift. Regular part-time nurses may be scheduled thirty-two (32) hours time off following the night shift when changing schedules to the evening shift. This practice will be kept to a minimum. iv) An employee will not be scheduled to change shifts more than once during a work week.

General scheduling. (a) Schedules for all nurses shall be posted at least four (4) weeks in advance and shall cover a six (6) week period unless mutually agreed to by the Parties. (b) Requests for change in posted time schedules must be submitted in writing and co-signed by the nurses willing to exchange days off or shifts of duty. It is understood that a change in shift initiated by the nurses and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime payment or premium payment for scheduling violations. (c) A nurse will have forty-eight (48) hours off following the completion of the night shift prior to being scheduled on a different shift. If the nurse is not provided with forty-eight (48) hours off following the completion of a scheduled night shift the nurse will be paid premium for all hours worked on the next scheduled shift. (d) Schedules with combined shifts of 7.5 and 11.25 hours shall not have more than two extended shifts combined with no more than two regular shifts. A nurse who is required to work a fifth consecutive and subsequent shift will be entitled to premium pay until a day off is scheduled. (e) These restrictions shall not apply where an arrangement can be made which is mutually satisfactory to the Union and the Employer. (f) For the nurse who normally rotates shifts, the length of normal working periods on evening or night rotation shall not exceed two (2) weeks in duration, except in extenuating circumstances. (g) Where a full-time nurse chooses equivalent time off as provided for in Article 14, all Statutory Holiday amounts shall be scheduled at a mutually agreed time between the nurse and the Manager. Any un-used Statutory Holiday time will be paid out on the last scheduled pay period in the Fiscal year ending March 31. (h) The Hospital shall schedule a full-time nurse for an average of one (1) weekend off in two (2) weeks. (i) For purposes of Article 14, the hours for which weekend premiums shall be paid will be 0700 Saturday until 0700 Monday.

General scheduling. Potlatch shall submit to Avista pre-schedulers its estimated hourly schedules for Base Generation Amounts, Excess Generation Amounts, and Load for each Week, and shall make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver electric power as scheduled. Potlatch shall also indicate, pursuant to Subsection 4(c), whether it will sell Excess Generation Amounts to Avista or elects to instead supply Excess Generation Amounts to its Load for the Week. Potlatch shall insure that such submission is received by Avista no later than 1700 hours Pacific Prevailing Time of the second-to-the-last business day observed by both Parties of the Week preceding the Week to be pre-scheduled by facsimile or other similar written form. Potlatch shall also call Avista's real-time scheduler as soon as practical if there are material changes to expected generation amounts or Load.
General scheduling. Scheduling of Events by SMG shall be limited by the University’s academic and sporting events calendar, which shall be provided to SMG not later than the start of each Fiscal Year hereunder; provided, however, that the University shall have until July 1 of each Fiscal Year to provide SMG with such Fiscal Year’s calendar of intercollegiate athletic events to be held in the Convocation Center.

Employees shall submit their non‐prime time vacation requests no later than 30 days prior to the posting of the applicable schedule on forms maintained for that purpose. Non‐prime time vacation requests shall be approved or denied no later than the posting date of the next schedule. In the case of conflicting requests by employees for vacation or limitations imposed by the Employer on vacation requests, seniority shall prevail in assigning vacations. The Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick period shall be defined as June 1 through August 31 of each year. The Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick Request Period shall be from February 1 through March 1 of each year. In the event of conflicting requests for vacation time by two or more employees within a department during the Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick Request Period, seniority shall prevail. The Hospital shall post the approved Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick schedule by April 15. No more than two (2) consecutive calendar weeks of vacation may be taken during the Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick and seniority may only be exercised once on a Prime Time Summer Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick. Adequate staffing will be maintained. 13.4.2 Prime Time Holiday Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick Scheduling. The Prime Time Holiday Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick Period shall be defined as December 20 through January 5. Requests for Prime Time Holiday Vacations will be submitted by October 1 and will be approved on a rotational basis. The Prime Time Holiday Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick schedule will be posted by November 1. Prime Time Holiday Vacation/PTO/PTO Safe Sick shall be granted in conjunction with the holiday rotation practices of the department. Adequate staffing will be maintained.
