Individual Leave. A Musician desiring a leave of absence will submit a request in writing to management not later than December 31st of each year for the following season. Late requests may be considered. A leave request during the current season made ninety (90) days prior to the leave may be granted by the Centre, however, the Centre shall have the right to deny the request based upon financial or artistic considerations.

Individual Leave. Unpaid leave of absences shall be at the discretion of the Employer. Employees seeking such leaves must make advance written request to their supervisor. A request for any such leave shall not be unreasonably denied.
Individual Leave. Each employee is granted annually five days of leave with pay for emergency or personal reasons which may not be accomplished except during school hours. One day of such individual leave will be available to an employee without giving specific reason therefor, on the following conditions:

It is further understood that such leave shall not be granted for the day immediately preceding or following a vacation period or holiday. The only exception to the aforementioned restriction will be for registered chaperones on the Senior Mystery Trip scheduled for the Friday before Memorial Day. (If an individual leave day is not used for this event, the employee will not be paid for the holiday.)

Exceptions to the aforementioned restriction may be granted at the discretion of the immediate supervisor and not subject to grievance for extenuating circumstances or will be for registered chaperones, chairs, co-chairs, etc. who use an individual leave day and if individual leave is not available, unpaid leave, without consequence of dock for the holiday. Only those employees on an approved list from the Mystery Trip Committee may be granted such leave.
Individual Leave. A maximum of five days is granted annually to each employee with pay for emergency or personal reasons. These requests are subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Schools or his designated representative.

In circumstances where the employee has exhausted all of the paid leave, a further 2 days unpaid leave may be taken.

  • Parental Leave/Adoption Leave An employee will be granted unpaid parental leave for a period up to and including thirty-five (35) weeks, upon request and verification of:

  • Funeral Leave Section 30.1 In the event of the death of a parent, spouse, child, sister, brother, mother-in- law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent of the Employee or spouse, grandchild of the Employee, or “xxxxxx” or “step” situations within these relationships, the Employee shall be allowed a leave of absence with pay of two (2) consecutive (eight or ten hour) workdays.
