Late Work Policy. By initialing, I agree to the late work policy for Advanced Placement courses. The policy states that students will earn a minimum of 60% of the grade they would have received if turned in on time. Teachers do not have to accept late work beyond one week after the initial due date. Summer Work Agreement By initialing, I agree to ensure summer work assignments are completed by the first day of the semester. I recognize that I may not know whether I have the course in the fall or the spring, but am still responsible for the completion of the work prior to the first day. Failure to complete summer assignments can be used in the determination of a grade. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the summer work information from the Wakefield website prior to beginning the fall semester.

Late Work Policy. Nursing Late work is highly discouraged; however, in the event a student chooses to submit an assignment past the due date and time (illness, work, etc.), 10% per day will be deducted from your assignment grade. After the third day the assignment grade is zero. All pass/fail assignments will receive a zero one day after the due date. Late Work Policy. With the flexibility of online learning comes a great need for responsibility and accountability. Therefore, students enrolled in a virtual course will be given deadlines for all activities, assignments, and assessments just as if they were in a traditional classroom. A student must complete work by the deadline given in order to receive full credit for the assignment. Students then have five days after the due date to submit their late work; a grade penalty for late submissions will apply. For absences up to five days, the student should contact the instructor as soon as possible for alternate arrangements and due dates to be established. In the case of extenuating circumstances, the student and parents should contact a Virtual Learning Program Administrator who will review the case and determine a course of action. Withdrawals from the Program While participating in the Virtual Learning Program, students are expected to be diligent in their studies, log on regularly and on time, and demonstrate acceptable conduct and “netiquette.” Should these expectations not be met or should any serious infraction occur, a recommendation for an al- ternative placement may be considered. The Virtual Learning Program also follows the York County School Division’s policies on absences. If a student accrues 15 days of inactivity in a virtual course, a Virtual Learning Program Administrator will report the student to his or her home school where action to withdraw the student may be taken. Student Participation There is a level of intrinsic motivation and independent learning that is expected of all students in an online learning environment. Students must remember that they are receiving the same credit for an online course that they would be for a face-to-face course, thus should put in the same amount of work, if not more. Students must login daily Monday through Friday. NO unexcused online absences are allowed. Students may be expected to participate in live Blackboard Collaborate sessions after school hours, as directed by the teacher. • Students must have a personal email address, access to a computer, an active Internet connection, and the required software. • Students must read the posted announcements daily and complete the assignments by the indicated due dates. • Students must return textbook(s) before your final course grade can be posted.   • Modified Work Program The Employer shall provide modified work for any employee injured on the job as per the requirements of the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board. The employee must co-operate in developing and participating in, a modified work program suited to his capabilities, and with the approval of his physician and/or the WSIB. Both the Employer and the employee shall work together to return the employee to good health and his regular duties.

  • Faculty Workload The workload of faculty includes student advising, maintaining and improving expertise in a discipline and in pedagogy, serving on departmental and university committees, contributing to student growth and development, evaluating student performance, scholarly activities, and service to university and community, as well as teaching and class preparation. Additionally, as a professional, a faculty member shall devote a substantial amount of his/her workload to course preparation, research, the maintenance of professional expertise, innovations in teaching/learning and other similar activities. These endeavors shall comprise the faculty member’s workload.

  • Work Progress The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner will keep each other, and NYISO, advised periodically as to the progress of their respective design, procurement and construction efforts. Any Party may, at any time, request a progress report from the Developer or Connecting Transmission Owner. If, at any time, the Developer determines that the completion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities will not be required until after the specified In-Service Date, the Developer will provide written notice to the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO of such later date upon which the completion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities will be required.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s).   • Demolition work (a) As of 1 October 2020 where Employees are directly performing demolition works that would require a demolition permit that allows the performance of such work, they will receive the amount of $8.35 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
