Long Service Leave (LSL). (a) An Employee is eligible for LSL in accordance with the LSL Act.
(b) The minimum period during which LSL can be taken is seven (7) calendar days at full pay or fourteen (14) days at half pay.
(c) LSL cannot be broken with other periods of leave, except as otherwise provided by legislation.
Long Service Leave (LSL). 36.1 If any provisions of this clause are less favourable for Employees than the equivalent provisions in the Long Service Leave Act 1958 (WA) (LSL Act), the provisions in the LSL Act will apply.

Long Service Leave (LSL). 26.1 Subject to the terms of this Clause the following will apply.
26.2 Full Time and Part Time employees will accrue LSL on the basis of 1.3 weeks for each year of continuous service at the Site;
26.3 Any accrued LSL will be applicable for payment as per the following:
26.3.1 For employees with continuous service greater than 5 years but less than 10 years, any accrued entitlements are assessable if the employment contract is terminated by the employee due to ill health or pressing domestic necessity proven to the satisfaction of the Company, or for any purposes where the Company instigates the termination other than in circumstances of proven misconduct.
26.3.2 For employees with continuous service greater than 10 years any accrued entitlements are assessable on termination of the employment contract for any reasons irrespective which party instigates the termination.
26.3.3 For employees who remain in the employment of the Company and wish to commence a period of LSL, then such a request will be agreed, provided the following applies:
26.3.3.1 The employee must have no less than 15 years continuous service; and
26.3.3.2 A minimum of one (1) months notice must be given.
26.3.4 Employees, who are eligible in accordance with the rules of the fund, will on commencement of service at the Site and also on occasions when they are assigned to work on shutdowns or similar type work will have their employment details registered with the NSW Portable Long Service Corporation in accordance with the requirement of the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986 as amended from time to time.
26.3.5 The period during which the employee has continuous service with the Company at the Site shall be an unbroken contract of employment; provided that a contract of employment shall be deemed not to have been broken by reason only of any interruption of determination thereof, if the interruption or determination:
a) has risen directly or indirectly from a dispute concerning industrial matters, if the employee returns to duty with the Company in accordance with the terms of settlement of the said dispute: or
b) has been made by the Company by reason of slackness or trade, if the employee is re-employed by the Company within six months of such interruption or determination; or
c) has been made by the Company for any reason other than those specified above, if the employee is re-employed by the Company within two months of such interruption or determination...
Long Service Leave (LSL). Subject to the Victorian Long Service Leave Act 2018, the relevant incorporated applicable Award provisions will apply to long service leave except as follows:

45 1 1 Employees are e Table 1 below. titled to weeks of Long Service Leave as per the Conditions to note concerning Long Service Leave: • LSL should be taken as significant blocks of leave unless otherwise agreed. • Any LSL accrued and not able to be “banked” should be taken before the next entitlement falls due or will be forfeited. • Remuneration during long service leave shall be calculated as per annual leave. • Remuneration will be pro-rated for increases or reductions in work hours during the period in which the leave was earned. • On exiting employees will be paid a lump sum superable payment of the cash value of outstanding LSL and, if relevant, retiring leave. (If the superannuation scheme rules do not permit a superable payment then salary remuneration will be increased for the relevant service so that total remuneration is maintained). • A prorated amount of the next LSL entitlement is payable if an employee has 21 years of service and is exiting Police. • If an employee becomes sick after commencing LSL the period of sickness shall not be counted as LSL taken provided the employee is returning to duty and not relinquishing office; and; is more than 5 days and a medical certificate is produced. • If LSL is cancelled due to operational requirements the period between the date of notice and date an employee resumes duty is not be counted as leave taken.

These provisions provide for one week of LSL following completion of 10 years’ current continuous service and one week of LSL following completion of 15 years’ current continuous service. Employees with less than 10 years’ service, as at date of ratification, will have entitlement to one week of LSL after 10 years’ current continuous service and a further one week of LSL following completion of 15 years’ current continuous service. Current staff with service between 10 and 15 years current continuous service will have the option of taking two weeks LSL at 15 years or one week before their 15 year entitlement arrives and then one on completion of 15 years’ service. There will be no additional entitlements for staff who have already completed fifteen years’ service.
i. An employee shall be entitled to paid special holidays for long service, in addition to annual leave, as follows:
ii. One special holiday of two weeks after the completion of 15 years and before the completion of 25 years current continuous service.
iii. One special holiday of three weeks after the completion of 25 years and before the completion of 35 years current continuous service.
iv. One special holiday of five weeks after the completion of 35 years current continuous service.
