Subject to the provisions of this Article, a regular employee who is unable to perform duties because of illness, injury, or quarantine may be granted sick leave with pay up to the maximum of accumulated, unused sick leave credits, and with the approval of the Public Service Commission, an advance of sick leave up to days.
