Vacation – Part Time. (a) Part-time nurses will be entitled to leave without pay for vacation on the same entitlement basis as full-time nurses.

Vacation – Part Time. Part time employee shall be entitled to vacation pay based on their earnings as follows: hours of service or less More than hours but less than hours of service More than hours but less than hours of service More that hours but less than hours of service More than hours of service For the purpose of vacation pay entitlement, any full-time employee whose status is altered to part-time following June I service shall mean continued service as both a full-time and part-time employee. For the purpose of this clause one (I)year of full-time service shall equal hours of part time service and vice versa. Vacation – Part Time. Regular Employees A part-time or intermittent regular employee shall earn an annual vacation allowance and bonus vacation as determined in the foregoing Section 10.3, but such allowance will be based on the ratio of the total straight-time hours worked by the employee in a year to 2,080 hours.
Vacation – Part Time. All regular part-time shall be entitled to vacation pay based on the applicable percentage provided accordance with the vacation entitlement of full-time nurses, of their gross earnings in the preceding year. If a nurse works or received paid leave for less than eleven hundred (1100) hours in the vacation year, she will receive vacation pay based on a percentage of her gross salary for work performed on the following basis: three week entitlement four week entitlement five week entitlement six week entitlement Equivalent years of service calculated pursuant to the formula set out Article shall be used to determine vacation entitlement. Casual part-time nurses will be paid vacation pay accordance with the above entitlement on gross earnings or on gross salary for work performed, as applicable. Equivalent years of service will be based on the casual part-time nurses seniority established under Article and will be calculated on the basis that hours of part-time service shall equal one year of full-time service and vice versa. Scheduling of vacation shall be in accordance with Appendix The Hospital agrees, during the term of the Collective Agreement, to contribute towards the premium coverage of participating eligible nurses in the active employ of the Hospital under the insurance plans set out below subject to their respective terms and conditions including any enrollment requirements:
Vacation – Part Time. It is understood and agreed that the Hospital will grant to regular part-time nurses, in accordance with their seniority, preference in selecting a personal annual leave of absence without pay in lieu of a vacation period, but such option must be exercised without delay or be lost. The Hospital must reserve the final decision as to the scheduling of time off work. Time off work under this section shall be equated to the vacation period allotted to full-time nurses. For the purpose of scheduling such annual leave, the entitlement year shall be from July to June 30th. In no case may annual leave entitlement be carried over or accumulated from one year to the next. Vacation pay shall be paid in December of each year. An annual leave entitlement list shall be posted by February 1st. All nurses shall indicate their annual leave entitlement preference by March 1st. Where no request for annual leave is received by March annual leave shall be scheduled at a time acceptable to both the nurse and the Hospital. Annual leave entitlement schedules will be posted by April 30th. Vacation will be scheduled so that four (4) part-time nurses will be off at any one time from any nursing area in the Adult In-Patient Unit. All other work areas will continue their present practice of scheduling vacation. Vacation pay, if any, flowing from Article of the Central Agreement will be paid the first pay in December. The first three (3) weeks of annual leave entitlement may be allocated to a nurse on a consecutive basis and the fourth (4th) and succeeding weeks of annual leave entitlement, if any, at a time acceptable to both the nurse and the Hospital. ARTICLE RESIGNATION A nurse shall give at least one month’s written notice of intention to resign.

  • Part-time Vacation Pay If the Employer currently has the computer systems’ capability to implement bi- weekly vacation pay, they shall do so by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. Those Employers with no computer capability will endeavour to implement bi- weekly vacation pay if there is no significant administrative burden, by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. If the Employer does not so implement, it will provide reasons in writing to the Union. Where possible without extensive programming changes, the amount of vacation pay will be separately identified on the pay stub.

  • Part-Time An employee who is employed less than thirty (30) hours per week.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Vacation Allowance Employees in permanent positions are entitled to vacation with pay. Accrual is based upon straight time hours of working time per calendar month of service and begins on the date of appointment to a permanent position. Increased accruals begin on the first of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies. Accrual for portions of a month shall be in minimum amounts of one (1) hour calculated on the same basis as for partial month compensation pursuant to Section 5.6 of this MOU. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.
