Xxxx Day. 24.1 The provisions of this clause shall apply only to an employee whose ordinary working hours are worked Monday to Friday and shall not apply to an employee for whom Saturday and Sunday are normal working days under any roster. 24.2 Subject to the provisions of sub-clause 24.4 hereof, any such employee required to work overtime for at least eight hours on a Saturday and at least eight hours on the Sunday immediately following shall be granted a day-off without pay (i.e. a rest day) during the immediately following week. 24.3 An employee shall not be required to take the rest day on any day that they would be entitled to a rest period in accordance with sub-clause 20.5 to 20.9 (Overtime) of this Agreement. 24.4 If for any reason any day (Monday to Friday inclusive) in the following week is not worked by the employee, such day shall be counted as the rest day. 24.5 Employees shall not be required to work on rest days. 24.6 The employee shall be given notice of the day granted as a rest day not later than the normal ceasing time on the preceding day.

Xxxx Day. A-1. The work-day for teachers shall be six (6) hours and fifty (50) minutes inclusive of 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the student day. Starting and dismissal times for students are subject to modification by the Committee, provided, however, that no such modification will increase the length of the teacher's workday. A-2. Teachers will have a dutyfree lunch period of at least the length of the pupil lunch period. A-3. Teachers teaching in more than one school will not have their workday extended beyond the normal work-day of the school in which their work day began.
Xxxx Day. (1) Every staff shall be entitled to 1 rest day which is without pay per week. (2) The weekly rest day for a staff engaged in shift work shall be determined by the duty roster drawn up in accordance with the operational needs of the Hospital. Staff shall be informed of the roster in advance. (3) A staff who works on her rest day at the request of the Hospital shall be paid in accordance to the Employment Act as follows: (a) If the period of work does not exceed half her normal hours of work, a sum at the basic rate of pay for 1 day’s work; (b) If the period of work is more than half but does not exceed her normal hours of work, a sum at the basic rate of pay for 2 days’ work; (c) If the period of work exceeds her normal hours of work for 1 day: (c. i) A sum at the basic rate of pay for 2 days’ work, and (c.ii) A sum at the rate of not less than 1.5 times her hourly basic rate of pay, for each hour or part thereof that the period of work exceeds her normal hours of work for 1 day. (4) In computing the basic rate of pay, where the staff total monthly salary exceeds $3,000 and she is not covered by Part IV of the Employment Act, the basic rate of pay shall be based on a total monthly salary of $3,000.
Xxxx Day. 1. Twelve-Month Employees When schools are closed due to inclement weather, secretaries are required to report to work. Those who are unable to report to work because of hazardous conditions will not be considered absent for a cumulative aggregate of two days in a fiscal year. Secretaries unable to report shall be required to notify their supervisor within one hour of their scheduled time to report and note the absence in WillSub, or they shall not be eligible to receive pay for that day. 2.   • Xxxxx Period After payment of the first Dues, the Subscriber is entitled to a grace period of 30 days for the payment of any Dues due. During this grace period, the Agreement will remain in force. However, the Subscriber will be liable for payment of Dues accruing during the period the Agreement continues in force.

  • Billing Period The calendar month shall be the standard period for all charges and payments under this Agreement. On or before the fifteenth (15th) day following the end of each month, Seller shall render to Buyer an invoice for the payment obligations incurred hereunder during the preceding month, based on the Energy Delivered in the preceding month, and any RECs deposited in Buyer’s GIS account or a GIS account designated by Buyer to Seller in writing in the preceding month.
