Planning and Budget. Purpose: The Planning and Budget Committee (PBC) serves as the steering committee for campus-wide planning and budgeting. The PBC assures that the planning and budgeting are interlinked and that the process is driven by the institutional priorities set forth in the Educational Master Plan and other plans adopted by the District. The PBC ensures that all plans are developed using data from program review and are linked to Compton College mission statement and strategic initiatives. The PBC makes recommendations with respect to all global Compton College and District planning and budgeting issues. The PBC reports all committee activities to the campus community. Membership: 9
Planning and Budget. Xxxxxx participated in the first non‐pilot year of then Governor Xxxx Xxxxxx’x statewide program to improve efficiency in Virginia public schools. Xxxxxx conducted the two largest school division reviews: Xxxxxxxx County Public Schools and Spotsylvania County Public Schools. Most recently, Xxxxxx completed reviews of Hanover County Public Schools, Arlington Public Schools, and Fairfax County Public Schools. Each of these reviews included evaluations of educational service delivery and operational areas. The purpose of the reviews was to identify savings that could be gained through best practices in  Finance;  Facilities;  Organization;  Transportation;  Service Delivery;  Human Resources;  Technology Management;  and other non‐instructional areas. These savings allowed divisions the ability to redirect administrative savings to the classroom. Florida Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability We have conducted three best financial management practices reviews for the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) for Hillsborough County Public Schools, Xxxxxxx County Public Schools, and Xxxxxx County Public Schools. A state law passed in 2001 subjects each school system to a review every five years until it obtains a Best Practices Seal by the Commissioner of Education. These reviews evaluated whether school systems applied the best practices adopted by the Commissioner. We included over 600 indicators of the best practices in the methodology. We have also worked with OPPAGA to refine its methodology over the years. Xxxxxx Consulting Group’s Performance‐Based Budgeting Experience Below, we have provided project descriptions for three projects that involved performance‐based budgeting. Hallsville Independent School District Xxxxxx completed a performance‐based budgeting contract with Hallsville ISD. Xxxxxx tracked approximately 35 performance measures to monitor efficiency in operational areas as well as the schools. The work included the review and validation of data collected and the use of our data visualization tool to create a comprehensive dashboard that the district can use to inform the budgeting process. We also coached departmental staff on how to analyze and improve efficiency on their own.   • Annual Business Plan and Budget As soon as practicable and in any event not later than thirty (30) days after the end of each Fiscal Year, a business plan and operating and capital budget of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries for the ensuing four (4) fiscal quarters, such plan to be prepared in accordance with GAAP and to include, on a quarterly basis, the following: a quarterly operating and capital budget, a projected income statement, statement of cash flows and balance sheet, calculations demonstrating projected compliance with the financial covenants set forth in Section 9.15 and a report containing management’s discussion and analysis of such budget with a reasonable disclosure of the key assumptions and drivers with respect to such budget, accompanied by a certificate from a Responsible Officer of the Borrower to the effect that such budget contains good faith estimates (utilizing assumptions believed to be reasonable at the time of delivery of such budget) of the financial condition and operations of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries for such period.

  • Business Plan and Budget As soon as available, but in any event no later than forty five (45) days after the end of each fiscal year of the Borrower, an annual business plan and budget of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries on a Consolidated basis, including forecasts prepared by management of the Borrower, in form reasonably satisfactory to the Lender, of Consolidated balance sheets and statements of income or operations and cash flows of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries on a quarterly basis for the then current fiscal year. As to any information contained in materials furnished pursuant to Section 6.02(d), the Borrower shall not be separately required to furnish such information under Sections 6.01(a) or (b) above, but the foregoing shall not be in derogation of the obligation of the Borrower to furnish the information and materials described in Sections 6.01(a) and (b) above at the times specified therein.

  • BUILDING PLANNING If Landlord requires the Premises for use in conjunction with another suite or for other reasons connected with the planning program for the Building. Landlord will have the right, upon sixty (60) days prior written notice to Tenant, to move Tenant to other space in the Building of substantially similar size as the Premises, and with tenant improvements of substantially similar age, quality and layout as then existing in the Premises. Any such relocation will be at Landlord's cost and expense, including the cost of providing such substantially similar tenant improvements (but not any furniture or personal property) and Tenant's reasonable moving, telephone installation and stationary reprinting costs. If Landlord so relocates Tenant, the terms and conditions of this Lease will remain in full force and effect and apply to the new space, except that (a) a revised Exhibit "A-H" will become part of this Lease and will reflect the location of the new space, (b) Paragraph 1 of this Lease will be amended to include and state all correct data as to the new space, (c) the new space will thereafter be deemed to be the "Premises", and (d) all economic terms and conditions (e.g. rent, total Operating Expense Allowance, etc.) will be adjusted on a per square foot basis based on the total number of rentable square feet of area contained in the new space. Landlord and Tenant agree to cooperate fully with one another in order to minimize the inconvenience of Tenant resulting from any such relocation. However, if the new space does not meet with Tenant's reasonable approval, Tenant will have the right to cancel this Lease upon giving Landlord thirty (30) days notice within ten (10) days of receipt of Landlord's relocation notification; provided, however, Landlord has the right, by written notice to Tenant given within ten (10) days following receipt of Tenant's cancellation notice to rescind Landlord's relocation notice, in which event Landlord's relocation notice will be rescinded, Tenant's cancellation notice will be cancelled and this Lease will remain in full force and effect. If Tenant cancels this Lease pursuant to this Paragraph 27, Tenant agrees to xxxxxx xxx Xxxxxxxx and the Premises within thirty (30) days of its delivery to Landlord of the notice of cancellation.

  • Clinical Development Licensee will have sole responsibility for and sole decision making over the clinical development of any Product arising from the Research Program in the Field. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if Licensee wishes to conduct clinical development of a Development Candidate at Penn and Penn has the clinical expertise, interest and ability to run such a trial as assessed at Penn’s sole discretion, such a study will be conducted under a separate Clinical Trial Agreement to be negotiated by the Parties prior to initiation of such study. Such separate clinical trial agreement will include a detailed clinical development plan, including costs and time lines for conducting the Clinical Trial.
