COURT TIME PAY Clause Samples
The COURT TIME PAY clause establishes the terms under which employees are compensated for time spent attending court proceedings related to their employment. Typically, this clause specifies the rate of pay, such as regular or overtime wages, and outlines the types of court appearances covered, such as testifying as a witness or responding to subpoenas on behalf of the employer. Its core function is to ensure employees are fairly compensated for mandatory court attendance, preventing loss of income and clarifying employer obligations in these situations.
