GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, tools, and incidentals to perform the work under this contract. A. The Contractor shall coordinate all services with the service requestor(s) (referred to as Service Coordinator herein) for each Department/Division and follow the Service Coordinator’s directives with respect to scheduling of services and any deliveries under this contract per the issued Delivery Order. B. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Service Coordinator for layout of all plumbing work, including but not limited to, placement fixtures, pipe installation, prior to fabrication and/or installation. The layout shall provide for operating and maintenance clearances and assess required by the equipment manufacturers, building codes, and AHJ. The equipment shall be accessible for future system expansions. Any equipment and/or material installation without the proper coordination and approvals may require removal by Contractor at the Contractor’s expense if deemed necessary by the County. There shall be no additional compensation to the Contractor for work required to correct any deficiencies that are the fault of the Contractor or subcontractor. C. When requested and prior to delivery of any material or equipment to job site, the Contractor shall submit one copy of each detailed dimensioned shop drawings or cut sheet to the Service Coordinator for approval. The shop drawings or cuts may be submitted in digital format or hard copy per the Service Coordinator’s request and shall include the construction size, arrangement, operating clearances, performance characteristics, and capacity of material and the equipment. D. All work issued to the Contractor shall be carried out to completion, including operational checks and cleanup of the worksite at no additional cost to the County. E. The Contractor shall be responsible for all lifting and equipment placement required under this contract. F. When the Contractor completes work on any piece of equipment, the equipment shall be free of missing components or defects which would prevent it from functioning as originally intended and/or designed by the manufacturer. G. Time and communication are of essence to performance under this Contract. The Contractor shall provide status updates upon the request of the County. GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. For all WBS elements described in this SOW, Contractor shall: 1) Provide services under the direction of the City official designated to ensure that requirements are effectively and efficiently performed. Such services shall encompass all those duties and functions reasonably and customarily associated with delivery of the required services in accordance with local, state and federal laws including, but not limited to, the City Charter, City ordinances and laws of the United States and the State of Georgia. 2) Furnish to and maintain for the benefit of the City all labor, supervision and equipment not otherwise provided which are necessary and proper for the purpose of performing the services, duties and responsibilities set forth and contemplated hereunder and as necessary to maintain the required level of service. 3) For each task order awarded pursuant to the Contract, the Contractor shall designate to the City Manager an individual with decision-making authority for the Contractor. GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work herein, including but not limited to, painting products, application tools, and worksite clean-up. All cost shall be incorporated in the unit prices on the bid response form. Man lift rental cost incurred by the Contractor may be reimbursed by the County with prior approval from the authorizing County Representative and appropriate supporting documentation for heights above fifteen feet (15 ft.). B. Paint," as used herein, means coating systems materials including primers, emulsions, epoxy, enamels, sealers, fillers, and other applied materials whether used as a prime, intermediate, or finish coat. C. The Contractor shall paint and finish exposed surfaces using the combination of materials listed as specified herein or other materials as needed with prior County approval for a complete and proper application. D. The application method for all phases of the project must be approved by the County’s Service Coordinator prior to use. E. The product manufacturer’s instructions shall be adhered to in performance of all work required herein, including but not limited to, painting products and pressure washing chemicals unless otherwise directed by the County’s Service Coordinator in writing. This includes but is not limited to product delivery and storage, preparation, application of products and chemicals. F. The Contractor may be required to repair or replace drywall sections (to include taping and finishing of seams in preparation for prime and paint). The drywall must match existing wall texturing. G. The Contractor shall not make any alterations to any County buildings/ property without prior written approval by the County’s Service Coordinator. H. The work does not involve lead based paint removal or abatement. It may involve cleaning or preparation of lead based paint surfaces and painting over surfaces that have lead based paint. Buildings constructed prior to 1980 may require lead abatement. This shall be the sole responsibility of Orange County. The Contractor shall paint these surfaces only after the County ensures the buildings have been lead-abated. I. Occasionally, the Contractor may be required to apply paint, stain or apply transparent coating to wood doors, benches, concrete floors or stairs, metal railings, or other surfaces. J. GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, litter/debris removal, related disposal fees, and supervision to provide all of the tree services herein. A. The Contractor shall supervise and direct the work efficiently with due care, skill, and attendance. The Contractor will be responsible to assure that the finished work complies accurately with the specifications. B. Services shall be ordered by County issued delivery order. Unless it an emergency service and requested by the County Representative, no service shall be rendered without an authorized and issued delivery order. The Contractor shall ensure that any discrepancies with the delivery order are resolved prior to start of work. C. All work performed, unless authorized by the County’s Project Manager, shall take place between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. No work is to be performed on Saturdays, Sundays or County holidays, unless previously authorized by the County’s Project Manager. D. At the request of the County Representative, the Contractor shall put notification signs within/around the work areas as to when the work will take place and the level of inconvenience that will be involved. The Contractor shall provide the necessary signage at no additional cost to the County. E. All staging and storage areas shall be agreed to and shall be acceptable to the County’s Project Manager or designee. F. This is a performance based contract. The lack of inspections by the County or any error or omission in these specifications shall not relieve the Contractor of its obligation to perform services in accordance with generally accepted industry standards.

GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. 1. Contractor agrees to observe and comply with all applicable local, state and federal statutes, laws, ordinances, regulations, rules and codes applicable to the Work. 2. Contractor shall comply with all design, construction, operating, logistical and access specifications and requirements of the Applicable Local Unit, the Authority, the County, and all other Governmental Authorities. 3. Contractor shall comply with all applicable design and construction permits, including (where required) permits from multiple municipalities or other Governmental Authorities, including the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), and all other Governmental Approvals. 4. As a minimum, the Work shall fully comply with the following codes, standards and specifications: a. All State and Local construction codes and requirements b. NFPA 70 (2011 edition or later, as applicable) (National Electrical Code) c. UL 1703 (PV Modules) d. UL 1741 (Inverters), except where specific Local Electric Utility interconnection requirements may conflict with UL1741 specification elements. In that event, and for those specific elements only, the Local Electric Utility requirements shall take precedence and shall be met. e. IEEE 1547 series, including applicable elements of un-ratified IEEE1547.8 that may be required by the Local Electric Utility for interconnection approval. f. International Building Code (IBC), including ASCE 7 (2005 edition or later, as applicable) g. OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926 h. All equipment and materials shall be UL listed i. All major PV components shall be listed and approved by the CEC j. Local Electric Utility connection standards and procedures k. NJBPU Office of Clean Energy program inspection requirements 5. Contractor shall be responsible for permitting, procurement, and construction of the SGFs to the extent defined by this Agreement. 6. Contractor shall provide a secure storage, laydown and construction area, including storage for major components including; SGF modules, racking, and inverters, and to be the base for the Contractor management team. 7. Contractor shall provide temporary construction access paths as necessary to provide access to its Work locations. 8. Contractor shall provide temporary fencing as necessary to protect and prevent unauthorized access to all storage, laydown and construction areas. GENERAL WORK REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall perform tasks in accordance with the contract, environmental regulations, Uniform Guide Specifications, and all federal, state, local, and safety laws and regulations. Specific guidance provided in the task order scope will take precedence over the general guidance provided herein. The majority of the task orders issued will be performance-based, describing the requirements in terms of desired outcomes of the project.
