OFFICE COMMITTEE. 9.1 Office Committee hereinafter referred to as "Committee" comprising representatives of Officers in the Bank may be formed for the purpose of fostering and maintaining good relations between Management and Officers.
9.2 Meetings between the Office Committee and the Management may be arranged at times which are mutually acceptable. At such meetings, the Office Committee shall consist of not more than two (2) Officers in Branches/Head Office Departments where the number of Officers eligible to become members of the Union does not exceed five (5); of three (3) Officers if the number does not exceed twelve (12) and five (5) Officers if the number exceeds twelve (12).
9.3 The functions of the Committee shall be:-
a ) to promote measures for securing and the preserving of amity and good relations between Officers and Management;
b ) to comment upon matters of common concern; and
c ) to reconcile differences of opinion on matters under clause (a) and (b) of this Article.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. 21.1 The Company shall recognize a Union Office Committee consisting of one (1) employee, and it is understood that an alternate shall also be elected and recognized by the Company.
21.2 The Company will pay the Office Committee for all time spent in meetings called by or authorized by the Company provided such time occurs during their regular work hours.
21.3 The Committeeperson may leave his/her work for the purpose of investigating or settling disputes, without loss of pay, subject to the following conditions:
(1) A Committeeperson shall obtain permission from his/her Supervisor before leaving his/her place of work.
(2) No payment will be made to a Committeeperson for the time spent by him/her for such purposes, unless it is during his/her normal hours of work.
21.4 A representative of the National or Local Union shall be permitted time to interview an officer or Committeepersom of the Local Union during working hours upon application to the Plant Manager or Plant Superintendent.
21.5 The Chairperson of the Office Committee and the President of the Local Union, if employed by the Company, shall whenever possible, work on the day shift during their respective terms of office.
21.6 The Company agrees for lay-off purposes, the Union Office Committee shall be retained in the employ of the Company during their respective terms of office, notwithstanding their positions on the Seniority list so long as the Company has work available for which they are qualified and willing to perform.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. (a) Composition - The Committee shall consist of not more than six (6) employees with completed probationary period of employment with the Employer who are members of the Union and they shall be selected wherever possible, on a departmental basis.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. 7.01 The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to select a Bargaining Committee composed of five (5) Committeepersons, one (1) of whom will be the Technical Zone Committeeperson and one of whom shall be the Office Chairperson. The Company will recognize and bargain with the said Committee on matters arising out of the provisions of this Agreement. The President or in his/her absence, the Vice- President of the Local, will be ex-officio members of the Committee, if not elected thereto.
7.02 Prior to the expiry date of the Collective Agreement, and for thirty (30) days of meetings following the expiry date, members of the Bargaining Committee including members of sub committees, will be compensated for the time spent during regular working hours in negotiating with the Company representatives for renewal of the Collective Agreement. If the parties meet for part of a day, the Bargaining Committee shall be compensated for the full day. The Company will pay the cost of a meeting room during Collective Agreement renewal negotiations.
(a) The Chairperson of the Bargaining Committee shall be known as the full-time Office Chairperson. He/she shall be on a full-time basis for the purpose of administering the Agreement in cooperation with the Committeepersons. The Office Chairperson shall be allowed access to and from the Company’s operations in the performance of his/her duties. He/she shall first inform the Area Manager, of his/her presence before proceeding. The Office Chairperson will be provided with an office and office facilities including desk, chair, telephone, computer and filing cabinet, and will be supplied with written information concerning starts, surpluses, layoffs, discharges, releases, recalls, and changes in job classifications and non-medical information concerning approved sickness and accident, extended disability, worker’s compensation claims and bereavement information. Internet access will be provided to the Bargaining Committee conditional upon agreement and signing of current IT policies and agreements of use.
(b) The Office Chairperson shall receive the rate of pay equal to the highest rate of pay in the Bargaining Unit and will be paid the equivalent of forty-nine and one-half (49 1/2) hours per week at straight time. (c) When the Office Chairperson ceases to hold office, he/she shall, after a three (3) week transition period, be returned, consistent with his/her seniority, to the classification and to the department in which he/she...

OFFICE COMMITTEE. 8.01 (a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select an Office Committee to be composed of one (1) employees, whom shall be the Office Committee Chairperson. This member shall also serve as a Xxxxxxx. The Union President, if requested, shall take part in any meetings of discussions with management. The Company will recognize and bargain with the said Committee on any matters concerning the application and/or interpretation of this Agreement, which may arise from time to time during the life of this Agreement and for the purpose of negotiating the renewal of the Collective Agreement. Committee shall increase by one (1) Xxxxxxx for every increase of fifteen (15) bargaining unit employees.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. 9.01 The Company and the Union recognize the mutual benefits of the ongoing consultations and open communications between Employer and Employees. To this end, the parties have established an Office Committee for the term of this Agreement, which shall also be intended to serve the purposes of Section 53 of the Labour Relations Code.
9.02 The Office Committee shall be comprised of not more than two (2) persons appointed by the Company and two (2) Regular Employees appointed by the Chief Xxxxxxx. The Office Committee will also deal with safety matters.
9.03 The Union will, within sixty (60) days from the date of this Agreement, notify the Company in writing of the members of the Office Committee. The Office Committee will inform the Company in writing when any member change takes place on the Office Committee. No member of the Office Committee will be recognized by the Company unless the above procedure is carried out.
9.04 The Office Committee is not a substitute for the grievance-arbitration process but is intended for discussion and consultation regarding matters of mutual interest. No statements or agreements made by persons attending such meetings are binding on the Company and the Union unless reduced to writing and appended to this Agreement.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. Members of the committee are: President 1st Vice President Secretary/Treasurer One member appointed by the President Office Manager Training Director The Office Committee oversees the NDFA office operations and responds to procedures or equipment questions by the Training Director. Minutes of the Office Committee meetings must be kept and presented at the Executive Board Meeting and approved by the Executive Board. The Office Committee shall be allowed mileage, lodging, and per diem as provided under the Executive Board Administrative Policy. The Statement of Administrative Policy applies to the NDFA Office Committee.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. The Company acknowledges the right to the Union to appoint or wiseselect an Office Committeeto be composed of three (3)employees, one of whom shall be the Office Committee Chairperson. Members of this Committeeshall also serve as stewards. It is understood and agreed The Company will recognize and bargain with the said Committee on any matters concerning the application and or interpretation of this Agreement which may arise from time to time during the life of this Agreement, and for the purpose of negotiating the renewal of the Collec- tive Agreement. The Union recognizes and agrees that Office Committee Stewards have regular duties to perform in connection with their employment and only suchtimeasisnecessary will beconsumedby such hours in order to attend to the business of administeringthis Agree- ment. Before leaving his regular Company duties, an Office Committee Xxxxxxx must obtain the permission of his Manager or Supervisor to do so.He shall also report to the Manager or Supervisorof any department hethinks necessaryto visit, statinghis reasons for sodoing, and securing permission before entering. Permission will not be unreasonably with- held in either instance.When resuming his regular duties,xxxxxxx to his Manager or Supervisor. The Union agreesto supply the Company with the names of thoseemploy- ees who are members of the Office Committee and will keep such list up-to-date.
OFFICE COMMITTEE. The Company shall recognize an Office Committee of three (3) employees elected by the bargaining unit to act as Office Stewards.
