The Overtime/Additional Hours clause defines the terms under which employees are compensated for working beyond their standard scheduled hours. Typically, this clause outlines the rate of pay for overtime work, eligibility criteria, and any required approvals for additional hours. Overtime Additional Hours. A. Time and one-half (1.5) for overtime will be computed after forty (40) hours of actual work in a given week. Whenever overtime or additional hours are authorized, the employee on the list with the least number of overtime or additional hours in the classification and building will be called first and so on down the list, in an attempt to equalize the overtime or additional hours among the employee on the list.
