SUPERVISION EXERCISED. Provides technical and procedural assistance to Registry staff when Register and Deputy are absent. Primary Responsibilities: Assumes full responsibility of Registry and Deputy in their absence; Responsible for processing and recording land documents presented after decided legislative and archival acceptability; Responsible for receiving large amounts of cash and checks, compute and receive consideration and cancel transfer tax forms; Responsible for assuring correctness of recording charges and the billing of these customers (accounts receivable); Process incoming mail, responsible for following cover letter instructions, correct order, make decisions as to legal and archival compliance of documents to be recorded, completion of correct return, handling of funds in accurate manner; Responsible for sending letters to public and legal professional which are clear and helpful and know which letters may be sent as a matter of course and to have the judgment to know when the Register or Deputy should be consulted; Assist general public in use of Registry of Deeds facilitates, i.e., indexes, computers, maps, etc. as well as assisting with research questions; Routine office procedures such as answering the telephone when receptionist is otherwise on another call, filing correspondence, typing and use of photo-copy machine, etc.; Responsible for accuracy of document numbers, book and page on documents and plot place received for recording; Provides procedural assistance to all new employees; Recommend improvements in the organizational structure, procedure, and practices of department; Must use independent judgment in established policy or procedure in the absence of the Register or Deputy; Cross-trained on all jobs except Register and Deputy Positions. SUPERVISION EXERCISED. Coordinates and supervises outside vendors and/or anyone hired to work on the municipal alarm system and/or other related equipment. Essential Duties and responsibilities Program and trouble shoot new and existing AES fire alarm boxes. Perform site location tests for AES system sensitivity, Approve AES permits, assign zones and secure box number assignments as necessary. Work with Finance to maintain accurate billing information for installs, master box monitoring fees and other alarm system billing information as needed. Assist with Fire Prevention plans review and approval, with a specific focus on alarm systems requirements. Assist contractors with testing new and existing fire alarm systems and boxes. Maintain location information on all fire alarm cable, overhead (poles) and underground, and ensure that all digsafe requirements are met. Ensure that the alarm receiving equipment (presently Digitizer) at dispatch is operating correctly and make preemptive recommendations as needed to keep the system working trouble fee. Assist other city departments with security systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, card access systems and other related equipment as authorized by the Fire Prevention Captain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervises and participates as required in the dispatching of police, fire and emergency medical service units to emergencies; maintains computer aided dispatch (CAD) log and recording and status control devices; provides pre-arrival medical instructions to callers requiring emergency medical services. Participates in training personnel in the methods and procedures of call taking, police and fire dispatching, and related clerical work; plans and schedules shift assignments in accordance with direction provided by the Director of Communications. Supervises and participates as required in the broadcast of public safety communication; relays information to other emergency services; answers 911 calls for services and non-emergency calls as required; initiates and maintains direct contact with emergency units at stations or in the field. Reports to Director of Communications any significant status changes in personnel, equipment, and incidents of significance. Receives and processes customer service complaints under the direction of the Director of Communications Knowledge and understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS). WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Works with the public seeking dental care; works closely with PHC and community health care providers, dental volunteers, all PHC staff and other Health Department employees. PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: The employee may risk exposure to biohazards (including blood and disinfectant chemicals) and communicable diseases. Work is performed walking or standing much of the time. Requires ability to work in physically restricted area with a high patient flow. Work at the Detention Facility requires working with potentially dangerous inmates and a stressful work environment. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE: Extensive knowledge of current dental best practices, dental quality assurance systems, and JCAHO requirements for dental clinics. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Requires degree of D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school and current license to practice dentistry in the state of Montana from the Montana Board of Dentistry with no history of licensure suspension or disciplinary action. Must be eligible for malpractice/liability coverage. Exhibit B Compensation Effective July 1, 2021, the Employee’s rate of pay is $75.95 per hour. Employee will be paid as a part-time intermittently scheduled employee. Employee is not guaranteed any number of hours in each work week, but employee will be regularly scheduled for no more than 40 hours in any week. Written approval from the Executive Director will be required prior to working more than 40 hours in a week.
