Uniforms and Shoes. When uniforms are required, the Employer will determine the style of uniform to be provided. The Employer agrees to furnish, launder, clean, maintain, and replace uniforms provided by the Employer without cost to the employee. Employees may provide their own uniforms with approval of the Employer. Uniforms provided by employees will be laundered or cleaned by the Employer only if the laundering or cleaning can be done with the other uniforms of that department. The expense of purchase and replacement of such uniforms shall not be borne by the Employer. If the University requires a specific style and type of shoe, except for color, the University shall purchase and replace shoes.

Uniforms and Shoes. The Board shall normally supply free of charge uniforms (laboratory coats and driver’s/cleaner’s uniforms) and laboratory safety shoes on an annual basis. When EMDH issues a new hat to an employee working in either a dining center or catering as part of that employee’s EMDH uniform, the employee will be offered the alternative of choosing either a hat with or without “AFSCME Local 1110” embroidered on the back of the hat. Employees will not be entitled to more than the number of hats provided for the employee’s classification. This paragraph does not apply to employees working in retail venues. Uniforms may not be altered in any way by employees. Employees in the Automotive Technician, Grounds Equipment Mechanic, Grounds Worker, Grounds Gardener, Nursery Worker, and Tree Surgeon classifications shall receive up to $175.00 each fiscal year towards the purchase of required safety shoes/boots, provided they are in need of replacement, at participating vendor locations determined by the Employer. Any cost above and beyond the allowance provided in this provision shall be the employee’s responsibility. Grounds’ employees will be provided either winter bibs and a jacket OR a pair of coveralls before October 31, 2022. Grounds’ employees hired after October 31, 2022 will be provided either winter bibs and a jacket OR a pair of coveralls within the first year of employment. The apparel to be provided is at the sole discretion of the Employer. The provided apparel will be replaced on an as needed basis, if necessary, due to normal wear and tear.
Uniforms and Shoes. 27.01 Free uniforms and working apparel are supplied to all employees and are replaced when necessary. All employees are expected to keep their uniforms clean and in good repair at all times. Specifically agreed female employees in certain jobs e.g. Lift Truck Operator, shall be provided pants and shirt uniforms upon request. The Company will provide six sets of uniforms to compounders, pre-weigh and samplers. 27.02 Effective September 11, 1998 (date of ratification), the Company will pay the cleaning costs for uniforms up to $10 per month for the following positions: Lipstick Hand Moulders, Compounders, Samplers, Mechanics, and Pre-weigh. 27.03 Employees who have completed their probationary period shall be provided with a minimum of two (2) uniforms within two (2) weeks of that date, provided that the Company can do so. All employees who have completed their probationary period and are regularly assigned to work in an area exposed to outside weather conditions, such as Receiving and Shipping Dock, shall be provided with a cold weather jacket, gloves and headware. 27.04 Safety requirements make it mandatory that all employees wear safety shoes while in any area of the factory or distribution centre. The company provides an allowance for safety shoes. 27.05 This allowance will be for one one (1) pair of safety shoes for 1998. As of March 7, 1999 the Company will provide up to two (2) pairs of safety shoes per year if required. In the case of Mechanical and Compounding staff the allowance will be for up to three (3) pairs of safety shoes in any 12 month period. The Company will provide a selection of safety shoes for employees to choose from that meet the safety standards. This will be from a supplier who presents the selection at the Company premises and the Company will pay 100% of the cost for the first pair and up to $100 for the second pair. For Mechanical and Compounding staff 100% of the cost of up to three pairs shall be paid. 27.06 To be eligible for this allowance the employee must be a full-time permanent employee who has completed his/her probationary period. 27.07 The Company agrees to provide prescription safety glasses once every twenty-four (24) months for compounding department staff who are required to wear safety glasses throughout their shift.
Uniforms and Shoes. Employees shall receive uniforms in accordance with the policy established by the City. The City shall also furnish uniform shoes or boots (employee option), not to exceed one (1) pair per year in accordance with the style and specifications as determined by the City.
Uniforms and Shoes. Section 1: Uniform Shirts and Pants‌ All Food Service employees will be provided three shirts each school year. All Food Service employees will receive a maximum reimbursement of $125 for the purchase of black, dark gray, or navy blue pants (no denim). Section 3: Uniform Reimbursement‌ Pants and shoes must be visually approved by the respective manager prior to submitting for reimbursement. Employees are responsible for submitting their reimbursements to the electronic reimbursement system. All reimbursement requests must be submitted by October 31st or after the completion of a new hires probationary period. Section 4: Uniform CommitteeThe Union shall choose three bargaining unit members to serve on the uniform committee to meet with two District designated Food Service Administrators at least once per year to discuss the selection of uniforms. The Union must provide the names of the three bargaining unit members serving on the committee by January 31st, annually. The committee will make the final recommendation to the Director if the majority agrees. If there's no agreement, the Director will make the final determination.
Uniforms and Shoes. Employees will be furnished uniforms and dry cleaning service by the City in accordance with departmental policy. The City will purchase safety shoes and/or boots, belts, socks, or any other non- provided, department-required uniform items for each employee at a cost of up to two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00) per calendar year. The City shall provide specifications for said shoes by administrative policy. This money will be in the form of a purchase order, not cash payment. If an employee presents justification, the employee may be permitted to exceed the two hundred twenty-five dollar ($225.00) limit at the Fire Chief's discretion. If an employee's shoes are damaged while the employee is on duty, the City will cover the cost of replacing said pair of shoes or boots.
Uniforms and Shoes. A. For DPW employees, the Township will continue to supply eleven (11) sets of uniforms and a cleaning service at no cost to the employees. The Township will also provide a new winter jacket and raingear every two years, which cost is not to exceed $100 per item. Additionally, the Township will also supply five summer tee shirts to each employee annually. Finally, the Township will grant each employee a yearly shoe allowance that will not exceed a $150 reimbursement that will be paid upon proof of purchase. B. The Township will provide six golf shirts and a $300 maintenance allowance annually for the Construction Department Inspectors. C. The Township will provide three (3) golf shirts and a pro-rata $300 maintenance allowance to the Tax Assessor. D. The Township will provide protective gear to its employees as it determines necessary and as required by applicable safety laws. The Township will replace any protective gear that is damaged beyond repair during the course of duty. This shall not include any protective gear that is damaged through the willful action or wanton neglect of the employee.
