Vacation Planner. The Employer shall post a vacation planner containing each employee's number of weeks of vacation entitlement by February 15th of each year so as to enable employees to write in their preferred vacation time. Employees shall have until March 15th of each year to write in their preferred vacation time. Vacation will be awarded in accordance with seniority and will not be unreasonably denied. If there is conflict between employees’ preferences in choice of vacation time, senior employees will be given preference provided junior employees have the ability to perform the necessary work. On April 1st of each year the Employer shall post a finalized vacation schedule which shall then be updated on a monthly basis to reflect vacation scheduled throughout the year. Such a request must be made two weeks prior to the pre-scheduled vacation. Any vacation requests after March 15th will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Employees making such late requests will not have preference in the choice of vacation time where other employees have indicated their preference.

Vacation Planner. Subject to Article 8.2(a) and operational requirements, the Company will endeavour to grant as much vacation time as it can without jeopardizing the efficiency and productivity of the operation. Further subject to the Company sustaining full-time employment levels equivalent to or greater than at ratification, the Company will as a minimum continue to grant the same number of employees vacation time off as it did at the time of ratification.
Vacation Planner. Employees shall submit their vacation requests by March 1 of each year. The Employer shall post the vacation schedule by April 1 of each year. Where vacation requests are made by March 1, vacation dates shall be allocated based on seniority where it is operationally possible to do so. Request for vacation which are submitted after March 1 will be dealt with on a first come, first serve basis, subject to operational considerations. A regular employee who chooses to take vacation in broken period shall be allowed to exercise a preference as to choice of vacation dates for only one vacation period within a calendar year. All vacation requests shall be subject to approval by the Employer and shall not exceed the amount of vacation accrued to the date of the request.

The vacation entitlement list shall reflect each employee's projected vacation entitlement as at March 31st of that year. The employee shall be responsible to indicate preference of vacation dates by March 15th, of that year. The Employer shall give priority according to seniority. The approved vacation schedule shall be posted no later than March 31st. Approved vacation schedules shall not be changed unless mutually agreed upon by the employee and the Employer. Where possible, vacation shall commence immediately following an employee's regularly scheduled weekend off.

Vacation Planner. A blank vacation planner will be posted on or before March 1st in each year. Employees are to insert on the planner their preferred vacation choices. The schedule will be taken down on March 31st and a final vacation listing will be posted on or before April 30th. Vacations will be approved based on the Employer’s policies respecting the number of staff that can be absent at any one time and the seniority of the applicants. During this process the most senior applicant will be given her/his preferred choice. As a general rule, single day requests (or blocks of less than a week) will only be granted during the prime period referenced above after all full week requests have been approved.
Vacation Planner a) The Vacation Planner shall be posted on the bulletin boards at least (2) two weeks prior to the commencement of the Bidding Procedure. Each employee shall select his vacation in order of seniority in accordance with the sign-up schedule beginning the first Monday in November and shall be completed in one week. If any changes are required the employee concerned shall be allowed to choose other available vacation dates consistent with clause 25.06 unless it affects the vacation of any other employee. b) The schedule of bidding will be posted along with a seniority list. Each employee will be notified of the day and time period on which he has to bid in order of seniority. The bidding process shall be overseen by two (2) representatives of the Union. If an employee fails to bid on his scheduled day he shall be by-passed and can bid as soon as he is available to do so from the remaining weeks. c) Once all bidding is completed the list of employees and their chosen vacation time shall be posted within two (2) weeks and one (1) copy shall be sent to the President of the Union. d) A vacation week shall be 00:01 hours Monday to 24:00 hours Sunday.

Vacation Planner. A vacation planner will be supplied for the employees to indicate their choice of time for vacations. The vacation planner will be posted from January 1st to March 31st of each year and all employees will be obliged to fill out their preferences within that time period. It is understood that the vacation planner is used to assist in assuring your vacation period. The Employer will notify the employees of their vacation requests one week following the cut-off date or sooner if finalized. Vacations periods of up to three (3) weeks may be taken consecutively at the discretion of the employee, seniority in each department to be the deciding factor. In the event that employees choose the same time off and where it effects the operation or production, then seniority by department shall apply. Failing a senior employee to fill out the vacation planner within the period over less senior employee(s) who have, then that senior employee will not be given first option of vacation. Vacation changes beyond the control of the employee will be taken into consideration for re-scheduling purposes. A vacation list of those who have not taken their full entitlement along with the balance of vacation days remaining for each of the employees will be sent to the Union office by October 1st of each year. Any scheduled vacations after this date will also be included. Employees that have not booked their vacation by the September 30th deadline will be given a final opportunity to do so. Failing for the employee to book the balance of his vacation entitlement, the Employer will do so at their discretion, taking their production and vacation schedule of other employees into consideration. All vacation entitlement must be taken and completed prior to Dec 31st of the calendar year, unless special approval has been granted to bank vacation time for the following year. 1) All applications for annual holidays shall be made out in duplicate and deposited with the Shop Xxxxxxx no later than March 31st yearly, who will turn all applications over to the Plant Manager concerned for consideration and approval. Employees, when making application for holidays, will indicate alternate dates as their second choice. One copy of each holiday request will be retained by the Shop Xxxxxxx for his record. 2) The maximum number of employees permitted to take holidays during any one period will be based on the following sliding scale, provided productivity can be maintained. 1 – 10 workers 3 off on vacatio...
Vacation Planner. (a) The vacation year will be divided into two (2) periods to facilitate vacation planning - April 1st to September 30th and October 1st to March 31st. (b) The last updated unit seniority list will be utilized for approval of vacation requests during the period. Vacation will be granted in descending order of seniority. Seniority shall be separate for full-time and part-time, with the exception of units where quotas are combined as per J.2 (a). (c) For each vacation planner period permanent full-time nurses must request a minimum of number of weeks off as vacation as per the following table. A week for vacation purposes is defined as the period from Monday to Sunday. Vacation requests for periods of less than one (1) week will be considered by seniority after all requests for weekly blocks have been considered. (e) Nurses working on each Unit will be divided into three (3) groups for the purposes of selecting vacation by seniority. In smaller nursing units, the manager may elect to reduce the number of groups. The timeframes for the vacation planner process are as follows:

(d) All other local policies and practices will apply to the granting of vacation requests.
