Workplace bullying and harassment. The Parties are committed to eliminating workplace bullying. In particular, the following responsibilities shall apply:
(a) The Department will:
(i) take reasonable steps to prevent workplace bullying, harassment and violence from occurring in all workplaces;
(ii) respect employees’ rights and the needs of individuals; and
(iii) provide employees with formal avenues of complaint and support.
(b) Teacher Aides will:
(i) treat others with respect and dignity;
(ii) refrain from behaviour that may constitute workplace bullying, harassment or violence; and
(iii) comply with departmental policies and relevant legislation, in particular the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service and the Department’s Standard of Practice.
(c) Principals and Business Managers will:
(i) model appropriate workplace behaviour;
(ii) monitor any incidences of inappropriate behaviour and take appropriate action to resolve grievances and complaints; and
(iii) deal with all complaints seriously, confidentially and in accordance with relevant directives, procedures and guidelines.
Workplace bullying and harassment. Neither party condones workplace bullying and harassment and has zero tolerance for such behaviour. Any incidents in the workplace will be thoroughly investigated by the Employer. To protect a worker from workplace harassment, the employer shall ensure that:
(a) an investigation is conducted into incidents and complaints of workplace harassment that is appropriate in the circumstances:
(b) the worker who has allegedly experienced workplace harassment and the alleged harasser, if they are a worker of the employer, are informed in writing of the results of the investigation in a timely manner.
Workplace bullying and harassment. 18.1. The RFV accepts its responsibilities under relevant legislation, and as an employer concerned for the welfare of all its’ staff, to promote a healthy and safe workplace free from threatening behaviours such as workplace bullying and harassment.
18.2. Employees who report bullying or harassing behaviour shall do so without reprisals.
18.3. Complaints of workplace bullying or harassment will be investigated fairly, thoroughly and promptly, with due consideration to the rights of all employees involved.

a) The Department will:
i. take reasonable steps to prevent workplace bullying, harassment and violence from occurring in all workplaces;
ii. respect employees’ rights and the needs of individuals; and
iii. provide employees with formal avenues of complaint and support.
b) Teacher aides will:
i. treat others with respect and dignity;

Workplace bullying and harassment. Sections 5.1, 115, 116 and 117 of the Workers Compensation Act, Part 3 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Worksafe BC policies shall be considered part of the Collective Agreement specifically in respect to Worksafe Bullying and Harassment.
Workplace bullying and harassment. (a) Workplace bullying and harassment is inappropriate conduct or comment that includes any inappropriate conduct or comment by a person towards a worker that the person knew or reasonably ought to have known would cause that worker to be humiliated or intimidated
(b) Examples of conduct or comments that might constitute bully and harassment include verbal aggression or insults, calling someone derogatory names, harmful hazing or initiation practices, vandalizing personal belonging and spreading malicious rumours.
(c) Reasonable action taken by a manager or supervisor relating to the management and direction of workers or the place of employment in good faith is not harassment.
