Xxxx Leaves. Personnel in their first year of employment in Easton will be entitled to five (5) sick days and one (1) additional sick day for each additional month of active employment thereafter for a total of fifteen (15) days per year. (Active employment is construed to mean days worked.) Xxxx leave may be accumulated from year to year at the rate of fifteen (15) days per year. All other personnel will be entitled to fifteen (15) days of sick leave each school year as of the first official day of said school year whether or not they report for duty on that day. If a person completed the previous school year using days, he/she will not be entitled to accumulate sick days the following year until he/she returns to work, at which point sick days will be pro-rated for that year. Xxxx leave may be accumulated from year to year at the rate of fifteen (15) days per year without limit. Upon request of the Superintendent a medical certificate shall be required to be filed with the Superintendent of Schools after five (5) consecutive days of sick leave and filed monthly for consecutive sick leave after the first five (5) days. Five (5) days per year will be allowed for family illness. Such days will be deducted from accumulated sick leave.
Xxxx Leaves. 1. Each employee shall be credited with ten (10) sick leave days at the beginning of each school year. These days may not be used during the first seventy (70) working days of employment. Secretaries may accumulate up to eighty-five (85) unused sick days.
2. The Board of Education shall provide the Board's "Long Term Disability Program" to all permanent employees working at least twenty (20) hours per week with benefits beginning on the thirty-first (31st) calendar day at a rate of sixty-six and two-thirds (66 2/3%) percent of contracted salary until the age of sixty-five (65) or the expiration of the disability, whichever occurs first. The Board of Education agrees to provide the above mentioned Long Term Disability Program within the underwriting rules and regulations as set forth by the insurance carrier in the master contract held by the policyholder.
3. Employees shall upon retirement, resignation, or in case of death, the beneficiary, be paid for all full-time days not used in run-off, at the rate of fifteen and no/100 ($15.00) dollars per day. Employees who are employed on less than a full-day schedule shall receive a pro-rated amount of fifteen and no/100 ($15.00) dollars per day.
4. Employees returning to work after an illness of more than six (6) working days may be required to submit a doctor's statement to the Personnel Office certifying that the employee is capable of returning to work.
5. To encourage the employees to accumulate sick days, the following incentive is available: No Sick Days Used = 2 days pay bonus One Sick Day Used = 1.5 days pay bonus Two Sick Days Used = 1 day pay bonus Payment will be made upon completion of the fiscal year.
Xxxx Leaves. Limitation. All paid leaves as described above must be taken at the time of the related occurrence, or reasonably thereafter, or shall be waived. An Employee will be terminated for obtaining leave by false pretense or for failing to return from a leave.
Xxxx Leaves. All full-time employees who are absent from their job assignments due to personal illness shall be entitled to sick leave accumulated at the rate of 12 days per year accumulation to 120. All requests for sick leave must be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent. Part-time employees will have their sick leave days accumulate on a prorated basis.

Xxxx Leaves. Xxxx leaves shall be granted on the basis of twelve (12) working days per year, accumulative to 120 days. Sick leave shall be interpreted to mean sickness of the employee, the employee's spouse, the employee's children, the employee's parents or spouse's parents. All absences will be taken in 30 minute increments. Each bargaining unit member will, at the beginning of the school year, be notified of the number of sick days he/she has accumulated.
Xxxx Leaves. At the beginning of each school year, each teacher shall be notified of their accumulated sick days and be credited with eleven (11) days per year during their first fifteen (15) years of full time teaching in the District; fifteen (15) sick leave days per year for sixteen (16) through twenty (20) years of full time teaching in the District; twenty (20) sick days leave per year for twenty-one (21) through twenty-five (25) years of full time teaching in the District: and twenty-five (25) sick leave days per year for teaching more than twenty-five (25) years in the District. The sick leave is without loss of pay; the unused portion of which shall accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. All additional days beyond maximum accumulated days allowed will be kept on file in the District office for future reference if the State would change the minimum available leave during the length of this agreement. At the request of the administrator, any absence exceeding three (3) consecutive days will require a written statement from a medical doctor in order to return to work, or to extend the absence beyond the three (3) days.
Xxxx Leaves. Unit employees shall be entitled to personal sick leave with pay, earned on a weekly pro-rata basis, in accordance with the following schedule: 0 to 5 years of service with the District 15 days 5 or more years of service with the District 17 days Days may be used for illness of an employee’s immediate family, which is defined as wife, husband, child, mother, father, sibling, step-parent, step-child. Medical documentation may be required for absences after four consecutive days. In order for the District to request such documentation, a pattern of abuse must be evident. Examples of abuse may include an excessive amount of Monday / Friday absences or more than two instances of absences of four or more consecutive days in a school year. An employee shall be entitled to accumulate up to 180 of these days.
Xxxx Leaves. 1. Teachers will earn sick leave at the rate of one and one-fourth (1-1/4) days for each month of service (up to a maximum of fifteen days per year) Earned sick leave will accumulate to a maximum of two hundred and twenty (220) days.
