Ancillary Duty Pay. A. Each teacher directed to take part in in-service training, curriculum writing, workshops, or training seminars which take place outside of regular school hours, will be reimbursed at the rate of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per hour of actual attendance in such training. Any teacher who is required to give up his regularly scheduled plan time for a required meeting or assignment as verified by the building principal or program director shall receive the $20 curriculum rate of pay for this period.
Ancillary Duty Pay. Ancillary duties (i.e. curriculum writing, attendance at Open House or Back to School Night, etc.) performed prior to ratification and Board Approval of 2020-2021 Teacher Contract will be computed on the base pay of the previous year. Ancillary duties performed after ratification and Board approval of 2020-2021 Teacher Contract will be computed on the base pay of the current contract. Ancillary Duty Pay is calculated by taking the beginning teacher salary divided by 183 divided by 6.83. Technology Presentation Stipend - Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, building level technology presentations will be coordinated by the Technology Integrator. Availability to have 3 presentations per building per year involving 3 presenters each time for a total of 12 presenters each cycle (this sentence is for informational purposes only and was not bargained). Compensation is at the ancillary duty pay with one hour paid for preparation and one hour for the presentation if outside of the presenters’ contractual time.
Ancillary Duty Pay. 1. Any required professional development/training activities before/after the contractual teacher workday and during the course of the school year will be compensated as per Schedule A.
Ancillary Duty Pay. If the School Corporation requires a teacher to attend training outside of the teacher’s contracted work day, then the Superintendent may authorize a stipend to be paid through grant funds if grant funds are available, and if grant funds are available, then the stipend will be paid pursuant to the terms of the grant.

Ancillary Duty Pay. 1. Covering a class during a teacher’s prep time or supervisory time is an ancillary duty. A prep time buy out for the school year will be compensated at twenty percent (20%) of the district’s starting base salary and a prep time buy out for less than the school year will be compensated at ten percent (10%) of the district’s starting base salary. A supervisory period buy out for the school year will be compensated at ten percent (10%) of the district’s starting base salary and a supervisory period buy out for less than the school year will be compensated at five percent (5%) of the district’s starting base salary.
Ancillary Duty Pay. 1. The Board will have no obligation to pay additional compensation to a Teacher for attending and participating in the following meetings and/or activities that occur before/after the contractual work day and during the course of the school year:
Ancillary Duty Pay. The daily rate of pay for teachers who are required by the administration or who receive advance approval from the principal to perform ancillary duties is $250. The hourly rate for performing approved ancillary duties is $32.59 per hour.
Ancillary Duty Pay. A. Certificated employees who provide afterschool, ESY, or other instruction beyond the regular work day/regular teaching duties or who participate in professional development beyond the regular work day shall be compensated at a rate of $25/hour.
Ancillary Duty Pay. Ancillary duties are those duties listed below which are in addition to an employee’s regular duty. Employees, including Sergeants and Corporals, will be selected through a competitive testing process for assignment to ancillary duties. If no employee applies for an ancillary duty, the Chief may appoint any employee to fulfill the position as necessary. Ancillary duties may have a minimum and maximum time commitment. Employees assigned to an ancillary duty, as listed below, shall receive additional pay incentive added to the employee’s current base wage classification. Additional incentive for each ancillary duty is shown as a percentage. Employees assigned more than one ancillary duty may compound the incentive to a maximum of 2% incentive pay, except in cases where one acillary duty is higher than 2% in which case the employee would receive the higher ancillary duty pay.
