HOURS O F WORK. (a) The maximum regular weekly hours o f work for all employees shall he forty hours, divided into a work week o f five days, Monday through Saturday. (b) The maximum regular daily hours of work for all employees shall he eight hours. (c) Work performed on Sunday shall not he part o f lh«* regular work week. The Employer agrees to give pref- erenee for Sunday work to regular employees eovered by this agreement. (d) The hours of work o f all employees shall be continuous. (e) Any employee working at least eight hours on any day shall be entitled to one continuous hour for meals on such day. Any employee working at least six hours hut less than eight hours on any day shall he entitled to one continuous meal period of forty-five minutes on such day. Such meal time shall not he considered working hours. (f) All full time employees shall be given two 15- minute rest periods daily, ami all part-time employees shall be given a 15-mimite rest period for each 1 hours worked each day, hut in no event more than 2 such periods in any day. Such rest periods shall he considered working time. (g) Full time employees working a 40-hour 5-day week may be required by the Employer to work a sixth day during the Monday through Saturday week; such sixth day must be an H-hour work day. Employees shall work over­ time as required by the Employer. The Employer shall give the employees affected 24 hours*’ prior notice o f work required on the sixth day of the week and 4 hours*' prior notice o f all overtime work required on the same day.

HOURS O F WORK. The normal work day shall be composed of one (1) tour of seven and one-half (7-1 consecutive hours, exclusive of an unpaid meal period, with the normal pay period composed of seventy-five (75) Collective Agreement January March hours which is equalized over a four (4) week or one hundred and fifty hour work schedule. It is understood that if the Hospital decides that a change is required in the practice of providing coverage in any department, or where the Hospital intends to introduce extended tours of duty in excess of seven and one-half (7 hours per day, such change or intent will be discussed in advance with the Association and the employees concerned. Two-week schedules will be posted ten weeks in advance. It shall be the responsibility of the employee to consult posted work schedules. The Hospital will endeavour to provide as much advance notice as is practicable of a change in the posted schedule. Changes to the posted work schedule shall be brought to the personal attention of the employee within twenty-four (24) hours. HOURS O F WORK. X. Xxxxxxxxx Medical Center 1. For Xxxxxxxxx Medical Center employees, the regular work schedule is eighty SEIU - Unit H 2013-2016 2. Regularly assigned work schedules vary depending upon hospital needs from 40 to 80 hours per pay period. Benefit eligible employees are budgeted for a minimum of forty (40) hours per pay period. Paid Time Off, sick leave, education leave, and retirement benefits accruals vary each pay period according to number of hours actually worked and shall accrue hour for hour for each hour worked in excess of the minimum of assignments. 3.
