TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. 12.01 When a vacancy occurs within a classification covered by this Agreement, all employees will be advised by way of a notice of vacancy which will outline the qualifications set out in the classification,shifts, status (full-time or part-time), the commencement date of the job, Such notice of vacancy will be posted on the appropriate bulletin board(s) for a specified period of at least seven (7) calendar days duration and will be copied to the Union District Chairperson.
12.01.01 In filling vacancies, the requests of employees under the provisions of Article 10.05, 10.06 and 12.02 will be handled in order of seniority, dependent on requirements of the position.
12.02 Employees wishing to fill a posted vacancy will apply, in writing, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Notice of Vacancy. The Company will provide a copy of the application to the Union District Chairperson.
12.02.01 All employees will also have the ability to request a transfer to another classification via the Letter of Preference form. All letters of preference will be maintained in the employees file for a period of twelve (12) months and must be renewed annually. In the event the employee fails to signify their acceptance it will be deemed to be a refusal and the employee shall be restricted from submitting a new request for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of their original confirmation.
12.03 In filling vacancies, the job will be awarded to the senior qualified applicant.
12.04 The employee will be given no less than three (3) clear calendar days’ notice of a transfer (not less than seven (7) clear calendar days if the transfer results in a change of days off) unless mutually agreed between the Company and the employee.
12.05 An employee who is transferred to fill a temporary vacancy arising from the absence of an employee due to illness/injury or a Leave of Absence for Employees with Child Care Responsibilities will be returned to their previous position upon the return of the absent employee, unless they have been the successful applicant for another vacancy.
12.06 All notices to an employee under this Article will be in writing, copied to the Union District Chairperson.
12.07 Lead vacancies will be filled by the senior qualified applicants who have successfully completed and passed the written test and interview. Qualification criteria will be developed jointly by the company and the union.
TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. A. If an employee elects to, upon approval of the Employer, transfer to a position under the Employer not included in the bargaining unit and thereafter desires to transfer to the next available position within the bargaining unit, he/she shall have accumulated seniority while working in the position to which he/she was transferred.
B. In the event of a vacancy, the Employer will give consideration to applications for transfer on the basis of qualification, certification, and seniority and evaluations as determined by the Board as defined in Article 7. An applicant with less service in the employ of the Board shall not be awarded such transfer unless his/her qualification(s) shall be determined to be substantially superior.
C. Unless a vacancy is filled through the recall of a laid off employee, vacancies shall be posted in a conspicuous space in each permanent building for at least one (1) week prior to filling such vacancies, provided, however, the vacancies may be filled on a temporary basis during posting, interview, and selection period. In the event the Employer determines to fill such vacancy, notice shall be posted within ten (10) working days after the vacancy occurs.
D. All posted positions will be filled within fifteen (15) working days after the posting period is completed when awarded to an internal candidate and thirty (30) working days when awarded to an external candidate.
TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. The following criteria shall be used in consideration of transfers:
1. The needs and efficient operation of the District.
2. The contribution the employee can make in the new position.
3. The qualifications, including the experience and recent training of the staff member compared to those of other candidates, for both the position to be filled and the position to be vacated.
4. The recommendation of the Immediate Supervisor to whom the employee is currently responsible, and the Supervisor where the vacancy exists.

TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. 12.1 The District shall email to the District email address of all certificated employees all official vacancies known to the District within three days of knowledge of the vacancy and the future need for the position. The posting shall be for a period of three days. Any subsequent vacancies caused by the initial filling of vacancies shall be posted within two days and shall remain posted for two days. Unit members may apply for a voluntary transfer/reassignment through email to the superintendent and will be given an interview prior to the District filling the position.
12.1.1 The District will present a Master Schedule that may be subject to change to employees by the last working day of the school year.
12.1.2 The District shall post any vacancy as soon as it is available. A bargaining unit member who is currently assigned to a position in the Helendale School District may apply for the position but shall not take the position until the following school year unless the superintendent or designee approves the transfer within the current school year.
TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. Any teacher who shall be transferred to a supervisory or executive position and shall later return to a teacher status, shall be entitled to retain such rights as he may have had under this Agreement prior to such transfer to supervisory and executive status.

TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. 14.1 Any UNIT member may submit an electronic request for a transfer to any open shift position or assignment as outlined in COUNTY Fire Department Policy #117 (2/1/2021 version) (Exhibit F) unless otherwise provided in this Agreement.
14.2 Any involuntary transfer due to extenuating circumstances created by operational need shall be consistent with COUNTY Fire Department Policy #117 and provided with specific detail as to the extenuating circumstances for UNIT member to reference.
14.3 Any transfer request denial shall be in accordance with COUNTY Fire Department Policy #117 and shall cite in specific detail the operational need that warranted the denied request.
14.4 All reference to Seniority shall comply with Article 38 of this Agreement.
TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. Section 1
TRANSFERS/VACANCIES. Section 1. Qualified employees may apply for transfer at any time an opening exists. Reasons for the request must be given in writing.
Section 2. The Superintendent or his designee will post in each worksite a list of known employee vacancies as they occur.
a. Currently employed SRPs will be given priority consideration in the filling of new positions or vacancies provided they have the skills and ability to perform the job.
b. Employees with no prior important assessment deficiencies, who have a current application on file, and who meet the qualifications of the job description, and who were non-renewed due to budget reductions/restraints, will receive priority consideration for a vacant position prior to the employment of an applicant with no prior service to the district.
Section 4. The Board agrees to seek qualified applicants as defined by the approved job description. Qualified current employees will be given priority, if possible, when filling vacancies. Other factors being equal preference shall be given based on seniority, to applicants from within the school district. Other factors may include but are not limited to qualifications, performance appraisal, academic preparation, certification, relevant experience, interview process.
Section 5. When an SRP moves from one position to another (upgrade in terms of hours and/or months of employment and/or job skills) within like months of employment, (nine month to nine month; ten month to ten month; or 12 month to 12 month) see salary schedule for number of years that can be brought in as experience If that salary is less than they were earning in their previous job, then they would be placed at the step on the salary schedule that would equate to a five percent (5%) increase over their previous salary. When the upgrade increases the number of months of employment, (nine month to ten month; nine month to twelve month or ten month to twelve month) the position upgrade is inclusive in the salary. However, at no time during the position change shall an SRP exceed their number of years of experience.
