HOURS OF. The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule. Subject to Article below:
HOURS OF. WORK The apprentice’s hours shall be flexible and may change as needed without entitlement to premium pay other than overtime.
HOURS OF. The regular work week shall be composed of forty hours per week on the basis of five regular days of eight hour shifts, Monday to Saturday, scheduled within nine consecutive hours, provided that such reference is intended to provide a basis for calculating time worked and shall not be a guarantee as to hours of work per day nor as to the days of work per week. An employee will be scheduled two consecutive days off (Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday) once during each four week operating period. Weeks during which a Specified Holiday falls shall not form part of the four week operating period. Employees may be scheduled to commence a regular shift no sooner than nine hours after the completion of a regular shift. It being agreed that the Employer is entitled to schedule overtime work, work performed in excess of the regular work week or an employee’s daily hours as scheduled by the Employer from time to time will be paid at the rate of time and one-half his regular straight time hourly rate, provided that there shall be no duplication or pyramiding of any premium payments, nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the regular work week and also as hours for which an overtime premium is payable. An employee will be paid a premium of per hour for all hours worked between a.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Sunday and 1 times his regular straight time hourly rate for hours worked on the employee’s scheduled day off. All work performed on Sunday shall be voluntary. In scheduling overtime, in so far as it is practicable to do so, the Employer will rotate such work to employees in the respective job classification of the department concerned, provided such employees have the skill and ability to do the work. An employee will not be scheduled to work beyond p.m. except that an employee may be scheduled to work one evening as part of his regular work week. Should employees be required to work a second evening, such evening may be scheduled as part of an employee’s regular work week on a rotation basis among the employees of the department concerned. HOURS OF. The regular work week for drivers will begin at Sunday. Hours will be in keeping with regulations, however, said driver assigned to open board jobs will begin with a punch in Sunday up to and including a punch in of a.m. Saturday in keeping with regulations. HOURS OF. WORK (Gen)
3.1.1 Thirty seven and a half hours shall constitute an ordinary full-time week’s work to be worked between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, normally on five consecutive seven and a half hour days, except for:
(a) Grounds employees for whom thirty seven and a half hours shall constitute an ordinary week’s work to be worked on no more than five consecutive seven and a half hour days nor on less than four days (with no more than 10 hours per day) between the hours of 7.00 am and 7.00 pm, Monday to Saturday, inclusive.
3.1.2 As far as possible the hours of work shall be continuous except for a meal break of not more than one hour or less than 30 minutes each day as directed by the Employer.
3.1.3 In addition, employees shall be granted a rest period of 10 minutes in each period of four hours worked which may be taken after two hours worked.
HOURS OF. The standard working week for day employees shall be forty (40) hours in five consecutive days of eight hours each,Monday to Friday.
HOURS OF. The normal work day and work week for employees covered by this agreement will be eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week, exclusive of meal times. Hours of work for Janitors on afternoon shift and night shift will be eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week, inclusive of meal times. Hours of work for Engineers will be eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week inclusive of meal times from September to June 30th each year, and exclusive of meal times from July 1st to August each year. Employees may only report for work at their regular starting time and may not commence work later, unless to do so by their supervisor. When a bus is outside the School District on an approved one day trip all time spent on that run shall be deemed hours worked, including lunch breaks. This clause shall only be applicable during the recognized day shift hours. All extra hours worked, (not including overtime), over and above regular posted hours, shall be shared equally amongst all regular bus drivers during each school year. The equalization of extra hours will not apply to those drivers working on a relief basis or mechanics except on an emergency basis. A list of all participating drivers and their extra hours will be posted and updated monthly. It is understood that drivers with regularly scheduled mid-day runs (e.g. Needs) may not have equal access to extra hours. HOURS OF. (a) Schedules will be posted two (2) weeks in advance and cover a week period. An employee may be permitted to exchange scheduled tours of duty with another employee who is scheduled to work in that area. The proposed exchange will be reviewed with the immediate supervisor and approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Such arrangements shall not result in the requirement of any premium payment by the Hospital. Requests for specific days off shall be submitted two (2) weeks in advance of the posted schedule. Employees will not be scheduled to work more than seven (7) consecutive days, followed by at least two (2) days off, unless by agreement of the employee involved.
